Will the hook side of the velcro grab carpet well? I have a piano pedal that keeps sliding on a carpeted floor.

Some posts mention that the backing is difficult to remove from the velcro tape. Is it just difficult or nearly impossible to remove?! Thanks
I haven’t had any issues. I removed the back easily. Applied to a glass surface. Still where i stuck it.
Easily replaced the factory strip. I’ll replace my others with this same strip as they give out. I highly recommend these strips.

I haven’t tried using them on cloth, however the adhesive is very strong so i’d expect them to work well without the need for sewing them to the skirt.

The adhesive will stick to a clean dry metal surface.
Is this removable?
It sticks well. To remove all you do is peel the tape off both sides. As a precaution it is better to have a smooth surface to adhere too.

Will it work on craft cardboard boxes?
Yes it will. The adhesive is very strong.
Will this work on holding my car visor up?
Worth a try. I’ve used it on remotes, a phone, curtains by washer. The velcro part is strong if the tape isn’t add your own double sided tape that 3m.
As hard to remove backing as velcro brand which is nearly impossible?
I used my little pocket knife to get the backing loose.
Will this stick to leather?
I would think so, it is similar to standard self-sticking velcro.
Easy to peel off or no? I just threw velcro brand into the garbage can and i’m not wasting another cent on this stuff until i know for sure
No, it’s not easy to peel off. It sticks really good!
Why not on fabric?
I used it on fabric and it’s working. I think it just won’t last as long because it’s not meant for that unless you sew it in
One side should be sticky, and one side should be velcro, correct ? I felt as though i am peeling off 2 layers on each side. Can anyone help ? Thanks
The strips are stuck together using velcro and you peel them apart. Then you have each strip with a very sticky adhesive that you can stick to any reasonably smooth and clean surface. Remove the white covering on the adhesive. Put a strip on the two objects you wish to attach, then connect the two objects using the velcro. These strips have a wide variety of uses.

Would this work on spandex material – something that has to be opened and closed each time it is used?
I don’t feel like it would work for spandex!
Can i use these on a textured wall?
Martha – it’s kinda ‘iffy’ using on a textured surface. I’ve got some flags hanging off my basement cement walls, but i used a lot of the velcro and the flags aren’t heavy, so it does the trick. But i believe it works best with the sticky side on a flat surface. I would say you’d have to use your best judgement on this one…
