How many calories? Protein? Carbs? Sugars? Thanks!

Two bars or one package of raspberry is 200 calories, 5g fat, 80mg sodium, 38g total carbs, with 14g of added sugar, 19g total, and 3g of fiber and protein
the other flavors are close to the same.

Are they fresh tasting and are they too sweet?

I would say they for the most part are fresh tasting. I recently bought some @ a supermarket, plain fig-and blueberry-best buy dates were the same -3/23/17.the plain fig, while not stale were dry to the taste,i had never noticed this before. Sweetness is a very individual decision-kind of like ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’. I personally do not find any of them too favorites are the blueberry, raspberry, and apple cinnamon-kinda’ in that order.boxes of those aforementioned 3 can be found @costco,12-2ozpacks -2 bars per pak ,one box of each flavour=36 packs per container.these are the best fig bars i personally have ever tasted!far better than the average brand fig bars found on supermarket shelves. Enjoy-sean

Are this gluten free

No. But they do have a gluten-free version.

Does this box contain 12 packages of two bars each or 12 bars total?

Yes it contains 12 packages of two bars and they are delicious.

I like these fig bars, but why does the product cost $15 to $23 for a package of 12 when i can get them for $0.75 each out of the vending machine?

Its a package of 36

Why does peach cost do much more?

Because peaches cost so much more and are more labor intensive, probably.

I ordered these a couple weeks ago for $6.95 a box, now you want $25 a box????!!!! What gives?

Contact seller and amazon.

Is it tasty?

I had the fig bars, very tasty

Which countries are all ingredients grown in? Bars distributed or made in usa but ingredients might not origin in usa. Pls respond sellers. Thx.

You would need to reach out to nature’s bakery for specifics like this.

I only received 1 box with 6 bars instead of six boxes – $17 for one box???? Where’s the rest of my order??

They sent you the wrong box

Has anyone else noticed these are smaller then in the past? I’ve cancelled my subscription got them.

If they are smaller, i haven’t noticed it.

Is each square 100 calories

Yes. Each piece is a serving; however, it makes a great breakfast and stays with you.

What does best buy code mean of 03/22/19h3

How do you make a wish list and keep your address private while sharing your list

What are the box dimensions? (for the 6-pack)

I bought 12 pack box 2 per package

Why are these 200 calories now? They were 110 calories

Better ask their customer service than amazon customers who bought it. I don’t have insight to their recipes.

Are any variety packs available? All flavors sound delicious so i want to try them all.

Yes there is a variety box….

Is the fig bars okay fror the daniel fast

Bloody yum!!!

I literally grew-up on fig newton’s & adored them! I grew-up in home that had food laws, yes, laws, not rules!!
My younger brother & sister were each allowed a half-hour to one hour of tv. Which was a treat to each of us. We were also allowed to eat a regular (not mini, but certainly not one of those obscenely huge bars of chocolate candy) candy bar, once a week. I typically bought my brother & sister candy with my allowance, since i’d met my family when i was five. (complicated) then, upon returning to nyc, i spent everyday working all the time. (i worked a lot as a model until i realized i had brains. I never saw a penny of it, even though i worked everyday, all day long. Private cars picked me up in nyc (really nice men, typically my dad’s age (30 when i was 5) would drive me from job to job.) & i’d see many familiar faces after the 1st six months of doing this. I didn’t really like people fussing with my hair, putting make-up on me or staring at me, while i was initially photographed in their clothes or being told how to use their products. Which ended about six months after i started working. I learned to read people quickly, which is always an asset! My mom organized my 1st few jobs, then i figured out how to do it. The people 5 times my age taught me a lot & were really just terrific! Both our parent’s worked & as a family, we moved to seven different countries. Which was extraordinary as a way to learn languages, cultures, see places i’d later see in my school books. The food was incredible-wow!!)
i digressed severely, apologies! Since my younger years weren’t say, “typical”, i started associating specific foods with ‘having or being’ home. For me, fig newton’s, pb & j’s & an ice cold glass of milk or a chocolate egg cream, all meant home to me, no matter where i was. Since one shirley temple (ginger-ale on ice w/ grenadine & a fake, kinda red cherry ) was ordered for me, when the adults had cocktails, this was my only exposure to soda until coke. Again, until our family started dying, (complicated. I was 15, my bro & sis 14 & 12) none of us knew that anybody could eat chocolate or drink sodas more than once a week! As far as eating cookies for dessert, we only had them for our picnics, on the weekends we spent in the woods. Meaning that after swimming in the lake, in the ocean, coming inside to warm up from skiing or sledding-in the states or overseas, we’d always have fig newton’s, chocolate chip cookies-homemade by me mostly or these very thin raisin cookies, as our daily sweet treat. This is taking forever-sorry! Just trying to let you know how significant fig newton’s have been to my life! Sometime during my 20’s, i started running b4 university & working & making veg/apple fresh juice for myself. I adored juicing & until lately, drank fresh veggie juices everyday.
Once i started drinking fresh veggies juices, my beloved fig newton’s became too sugary for me. Please don’t misunderstand me here! Even during my snobbiest foodie times, i’d still delight in eating & making chili con casa (spelling?) w/ velvetia (fake) cheese, picante sauce & refried beans! (omg it’s divine!! Everywhere i made or brought it, always 1st yummy to disappear. Maybe cause even lactose intolerant could eat it, since it’s fake cheese. Idk!) even when i was a vegetarian-7 years – fig newton’s & felafel’s were a favorite meal when i was 12.
Healthy food has grown to really not only healthy, actually delicious too!! Tho- to actually find a cookie, i now prefer to newton’s? Yeah, these babies! Gosh they’re good! For breakfast, lunch or dinner-alone or with a meal-doesn’t matter! They’re not suddenly diabetic sweet & they’re covering, for me anyway, needs pellegrino, passion fruit & tangerine sun tea or juice-mixed with 2/3rds bubbling water on hand, when enjoying them.
The other thing i adore bout them is i’ve been battling pain for some time now. The kind that makes ya never hungry or hangry! Discovering these & keeping a few packs of them near my bed (2 cookies are wrapped together in box that holds 12 twins. For me recently, it’s been easy to go 4-5 days, not eating. I honestly don’t get or feel hungry! These fig bars are the perfect little meal sometimes for me. Crap, have i completely mucked up this review? Well….shoot!
I’m really looking forward to trying the chocolate bars & other flavors of these & they’re even kinda “healthy”! Kinda. They’re really bloody yum is truth. If you’re looking to start making a few ‘better food choices’ for you or you & your kids-try these. They still remind me of really happy places & nothing bout that hurts!!

Company cheating customers

I have eaten these newton bars for years. I stopped ordering them over the summer as the price tripled.
The price just went back down this month september 2022 so i ordered a box of raspberry newton bars.
Much to my dismay when i opened my package, the bars are no longer the full size sport bars but standard size newtons that you get in the big package at the store. The company did not even bother to change the rapper or box size to accommodate the much smaller serving. Clearly the intent is deceive the customers. Still a healthy and great tasting bar but far from worth the price. Better off getting newtons at the dollar store then spend $10 to $13 dollars for half as many.

Best fig bars ever

We love these fig bars! I first found them at our local grocery store, then when the store stopped stocking them (for whatever reason!) i found them on amazon. I have a monthly subscription to a box of 12. The bars are hearty and full of fiber. They are especially handy for hikes and day trips, or as a nice change from chex mix on the plane. Of course, i will buy these again. Annnnnd again.

Taste is great. I eat as breakfast or a snack. Very filling, perfect portion. Great for on the good, and feel good about eating!

High calorie-per-bite ratio

I generally think of snack bars as being for children or athletes, and i am neither. Nearing 40, i’ve started to feel my bones go porous, my muscles soft. They warn you about this, but i hadn’t anticipated how specific the feeling would be: an actual weakening of the ankles, a pain in the hip. I feel like i should have started having healthier habits earlier — when they told me to — if i wanted to avoid this physical disintegration. Now i assume it’s too late.

I thought of this when i bought these snack bars. I normally buy them for my son — at the grocery store, because i try to avoid amazon — because they’re inexplicably high-calorie: 200 calories per bar, compared to around 70 in most snack bars. He likes them. The calories seem like healthy ones, too. The cleanness of the font on the box suggests as much, the spareness of the design. It resembles the design on those products — those packaged foods — that brag on the box that only four, or five, or at most six ingredients are contained therein. I’m not saying there are only a handful of ingredients in these (actually, i just checked, and there are 13), just that they have that healthful vibe about them. This seemed important, because this time, i was buying the snack bars not for my son, but for the homeless — specifically, as donations for the blessing bags he was apparently going to be assembling at the camp we’d signed him up for, for the day before thanksgiving, when school was out but we had to work. I’d googled what to put in blessing bags, and snack bars were on the list. And i thought of these ones.

The reason i think they suit athletes is because they contain so many calories. For me, they don’t make sense, because — being as i am both gluttonous and lazy by nature — i already consume more calories than i burn. But if you’re homeless, it must be hard to get the calories you need. That’s what the website suggested, at least. So these came to mind. I bought them on amazon instead of at the grocery store because they were cheaper in the bulk box, and i needed plenty of them, and also because i hadn’t looked at the fine print in the email about camp until a few days before camp started, and i didn’t have time, at that point, to run to the store.

Excellent snack home or to go!!

Soft! Sweet! Healthy! Great buy when a $1.00 a serving/package. Their other products are outstanding as well! The apple oatmeal bar is crazy good … Like a mini apple crisp.

Husbands go to snack while at work! Plus the kids love them!!

These are a great option for anyone on the go or wanting a healthier option for a sweet treat for your kids! We love them and the kids do as well. They have great flavor, just like apple oatmeal sort of with a sweet center. The quality of ingredients are very important to us so that is a huge plus. They were fresh out of the package and not smooshed or old. Would definitely buy again, and again

Pumpkin spice – yum!

A mouthful of goodness in this two bar package! I didn’t find it too sweet – the spices took care of that. I loved the sharpness of the spices in these little bars. A strong cup of black tea or coffee pairs wonderful with the cakeyness and flavors in these pumpkin spice fig bars. Hardy enough to get you through to lunch. This is not a purchase but an investment in your monday morning-return-to-work-joy! Yep, i actually said that!!!

So tasty!

When our local supermarket discontinued these, i was disappointed. These fig bars are so tasty and nutritious that began searching for them on line and found them here. It was worth the search! Timely delivery too.

Absolutely fresh and delicious, like homemade!

Package was well packed and arrived fresh! Delicious raspberry-fig bar is the best!

Great for a quick, filling snack.

I’ve enjoyed the few different flavors that i’ve tried. None has disappointed. But the prices of the various flavors are always going up and down, so whenever i orderi simply go for whenever
whichever flavor happens to have the best price at that time. Unless you’re rich and or very picky about an exact flavor, it might behoove you to just go with whichever flavor is at a much better price at any given moment, because they all taste fine.

Size is half of package, like two small fig newtons. They are not breakfast bars.

Great but weird shipping

Rather than boxes of 6 bars, i received individual bars all jumbled together in a cardboard box. One of the thin boxes was actually in there, all smushed up. The bars themselves were all there, though, so no complaint. Just really weird packaging.

Good cookies, bad shipping

Box was smashed and bars were rolling around inside a perfectly intact box amazon. I planned to throw them out but my family got to them before i got a chance. I thought that they would not be safe to eat because of the open package. Turns out they were fine and we all enjoyed them, even my picky teenager. Originally i left a bad review but that was for the terrible shipping. The cookies are fantastic and being more healthy than regular fig newton’s is a big plus. Thanks to nature’s bakery and boo to amazon shipping.

An ok substitute for kashi strawberry bars

Kashi discontinued their strawberry bars, so i was on the hunt for a substitute. These are ok—very filling, quality ingredients—but i do not get as much strawberry flavor as i would like. Still, it they are significantly better than anything else i’ve found (e.g., nutrigrain strawberry bars or similar versions from the various large retailers).

If msg sensitive don't get

Natural flavors & natural flavor are both listed as ingredients. Many times this means glutimates are in the product, which are similar to monosodium glutamate (msg). One member of our family gets hives everytime they had one of the bars & that person can’t eat anything with msg. Other than that, we think they taste good.

Fig newton w/out the sugar

I love fig newtons but i can deal with the amount of sugar and fat
natures bakery makes a childhood favorite healthy

Good, nutritious bars

These are not the best fig bars i’ve ever eaten, but a good value.
