I just picked up my second bottle and if you’re taking one a day, they last a year, which is a huge bargain considering most vitamins sold last 1-3 months at best in their bulk sizes. D is a vitamin most of us don’t get enough of and you’d be shocked to see how many people globally are insufficient/deficient. And sun exposure, the best way to acquire it, has its many dangers. D3 is the one you want; d2 doesn’t absorb as well. These capsules are the gel sort, smooth and small and easy to swallow. Easy to break open if you’re using them for at home skin care or other applications besides oral consumption. I tend to be insufficient unless i take these daily and since i have, doctors never point out my vitamin d levels on blood tests anymore so they do the job. Please note that the darker your skin, the easier it is to be deficient and bringing up your levels can make a huge impact on your energy levels and moods as well. My son and i have been using this brand for a few years now. It’s worked well for us. Both of us are prone to low vit d – it’s brought our levels up and have kept them where they should be. When i searched for a vit d3 – i needed something on the small side with not a lot of additives as my son has a lot of allergies to many things. In addition, he also has to have pills on the smaller side due to a swallowing issue. I’m able to put this in yogurt and he’s able to swallow it without any issues.

This is a very tiny pill that packs 5000 iu of vitamin d. I had very low levels and have been taking this for about 4-5 days a week for the past year or more. I don’t take it every day as the doctor suggested i take 4000 a day, so i thought about 5 days a week would suffice. My levels have gone up quite a bit, though still a long way to go. Apparently, it takes a while for vit d to rise, especially if one doesn’t get regular sunlight exposure. I would recommend this product since this bottle is reasonably priced for a full year’s supply and the brand has built good credibility.

I’ve been using this brand for several years, adjusting the dose as recommended by my doctor. Pills are easy to swallow and the price is reasonable.
