My daughter asked for an ice maker for christmas. She stated she specifically wanted “nugget” ice. I purchased this based off reviews and i am thrilled i did. It is extremely easy to use right out of the box. The ice is perfect and the design is sleek and attractive in appearance. This is quality. I am so glad i didn’t go with a cheaper option. I have enjoyed hers so much that i plan to purchase one for myself!!

I bought this for my ice cruncher son. He needs his ice chips and i need enough refrigerator made ice cubes to make my ice tea. This product makes perfectly crunchy but not too hard ice cube nuggets. It’s quiet, easy to use, and you will have ice nuggets in minutes. The price was right and my son said the ice nuggets are a w. That’s a win and everyone is happy. Definite recommend.

I never really write review but this thing is awesome. The ice size is perfect and it doesn’t stick together.. Ice is so dam good and very additive plus it so soft to chew on… Use purified water and u won’t be disappointed.. I wouldn’t recommend eating ice in the winter for health reasons but with nice weather i’d chew on this all day… Worth every penny. It alil bulky but the quality of ice this thing spits out is amazing.. This machine got me feeling like i’m on crack i can’t get enough

This ice maker is so quiet. I like that it makes crushed ice, not just cubes. The amount of ice it makes is nice. We’ve had 3 different ice makers and this one is so much better quality than any of the others. We would definitely order this again. We are very pleased.

My wife loves soft, chewable ice, and this fits the bill!

Hooks up to a water line, and is rather quiet (at least compared to our old one). We are never going back to regular ice!

Bought this for my wife. She loves it. Constantly getting a glass of ice to chew on.. It is nugget size.

I really like the idea that as the ice melts in the ice basket, the unused ice, the water drips straight down into the water reservoir and it’ll eventually remake those melted pellets back into frozen pellets.

I love my ice maker. Very easy instructions to set the machine up and use.

Love my ice maker. I’m 24hrs in and does exactly what it says. There’s a audible humming but with time, i hope it just becomes another sound i won’t notice.
Update: noise is only during ice making process. Once done, sits quietly on counter!

After reading multiple reviews on the different nugget ice makers, i decided to go with the newair. I love it. Here is my honest review:
– on reviews for nugget ice makers, most say they are loud..but the reviews on this say it is quiet. I would say it is somewhere in between. It does have a humming sounds and would equate it to a dishwasher sound. After a few minutes you don’t even pay attention to it.
– ice quality is great. I was skeptical that the ice would be the same consistency/taste of sonic or chic-fil-a ice and was greatly surprised. It really does taste like sonic/chic-fil-a ice and very similar consistency.
– size of the machine is a little bigger than i was expecting but does fit on the counter.
– speed is a little bit slower than the 10 minutes advertised. It took about 30 mins to get a large cup full of ice and estimate about 2-3 hours for a full basket. I am running mine at night and when i get up in the morning the basket is full…empty it and run again. The ice does stay frozen until you empty the basket, where i saw on other models the ice would melt.

Overall i give this a four out of five rating…mostly because of how it matches the description in the advertisement. It is a great ice machine and have no regrets buying it. If the advertisement described it as taking 30 minutes for ice (vs. 10) and didn’t describe as portable then i would have given a five star rating.

Loved the setup was so simple, it is a little on the louder side when can running but quiet when making ice. Texture is great!
