Norton is doing everything about right, just its marketing is a little intrusive and annoying.

I have only used norton on my computers since i first bought one. They have always protected me. I will keep using them for as long as i have computers.

I like the ability to add norton to my pc and then email a link to additional pc’s to install virus protection on multiple pc’s with no hassle.

A good value. High quality product. Was easy to install. Happy i bought. I would buy from you again.

Norton has been around for ages, since dos days. Over the years, some of the antivirus products did slow the computer down, probably due to them rushing it out without enough testing, but subsequent versions work quite well. And if you purchase it from amazon, you will be assured to get it at the best price possible, unlike norton where they fluctuate the price upon renewal time.

Offers full coverage, i have used norton in the past then changed to another company, now i am back. I can’t review their vpn, i use a different service that is specifically for vpn.

Currently (2022) the best home protection program out there.

I have used norton for many years and have never had my computer successfully hacked. The program takes a lot of space, but it is worth it if you want your computer protected. Instead of singing praises for protecting my computer, i am going to talk about why i took off one star.
First, i took off half a star because norton has become money hungry and charging for every little thing. Lifelock is very expensive, and they offer a few other supplemental programs and charge for each one. The premium version should include everything.
And secondly, i took off another half star because they renew your service randomly up to around 30-45 days before it expires. I normally turn off the auto-renewal one week before it expires and then purchase a new version here on amazon. (auto-renew by norton is $114.99 versus $39.39 here on amazon for the exact same product.) on the plus side you can get the auto-renewal refunded if requested within 60 days of the charge.
Overall, this is a great product and worth the money, just don’t auto-renew (when you turn off auto-renew, you lose the use of norton utilities until you install a new product or turn auto-renew back on. This is why i turn if off one week before norton is supposed to renew.

I got a good bargain price during black friday; so, overall happy with product. But my complaints are (1) vpn— cannot select specific/local city in usa. So if you’re in ny and it picks ca or nm, you’ll have higher pings/delays (but if it’s very bad or you’re gaming, just disconnect and reconnect to hopefully get lo closer proxies). (2) vpn— strong ad-sense, which actually interferes with suggested links or shopping links at the top page of google searches. Slightly annoying, but you can sheets go directly to the source (amazon, etc). (3 (bonus)) crypto mining— not sure how it determines how much you power to use when idling, but most times it doesn’t utilize near-full power… So you should or can disable or interrupt it and let it start again, hopefully at a much better hash-rate… And note: you cannot force it to mine,,, it waits ‘til it thinks your computer is idle (which can sometimes take a while, and can be annoying). Also note: mobile app can be glitchy sometimes… But, hey, it’s bonus security/vpn… So can’t complain too much if you have to swipe close the app and re-open it, sometimes

Norton 360 premium is full featured — antivirus, computer clean up, vpn, and 75gb of back up if you want to use it. However, it wants me to do more than i want to do — too many choices to make during set up (mostly turning features off or not selecting them). It also tries to upsell you, which you can ignore. The biggest problem/intrusion was that all my desktop icons got big green check marks on them — very unsightly and annoying the key to getting rid of them is to open norton 360, click on settings at the top, click on backup settings, then turn off backup status overlays, and click apply. Go to an open area of your computer desktop, right click, and click on refresh. The check marks should be gone. But why should i have to do all this for something that i never asked for?

I really like norton protection. It was difficult to install the way that i purchased it. I was not aware everything norton had to be uninstaller first. My mistake. It works great now that it is installed properly.

I have used norton for 10 plus years. But this is the first time i have been upset in trying to download on to all my devices.. They have you go to the playstore to get some of the apps. Frustrating.

As with anything these days your initial purchase just isn’t enough. You get inundated with buy this next level of protection

Renewed this software & all is good so far. Have been using norton for 15+ years & no major complaints. Best prices have consistently been on amazon.

In reading content after laptop install, its unclear about lifelock feature ‘subscription’ as it is supposed to be ‘included’ but they say ‘trial’ — so what’s up?

Last few years, seems to slow down pc & laptops, especially windows 10.

I’ve used norton for years. I especially like their 24-hour phone support (though some agents seem almost clueless; i may need to call back to get someone else). But this has the same irritating ‘feature’ requiring you to give a credit card and have the renewal at norton’s high price. (i buy a new copy every year because it’s so much cheaper). You have to remember to log into your norton account and turn off auto-renew. It’s not hard, but it’s irritating.

Subscription management on the norton website would re-install the old expiring subscription instead of my newly purchased retail version from amazon. I finally got around the problem by uninstalling all my norton products from my computer and deleting their registry keys. Not sure deleting registry entries was necessary but i was tired and wanted to finish. Norton security software is so good that it is worth a little frustration to get it up and running. They could do better in helping you to manage your subscriptions i think though.
