I have to start from the beginning to tell you why i purchase this over and over again instead of just going to get an original one from the makers of my laptop.

When i first bought my laptop in the beginning of 2014, the original cord my laptop came with broke and died by 2016 and i came across this fellow and purchased it for about the same price in 2016. It lasted about three years before the cord broke, and it stopped charging. I purchased a second one towards the end of 2019 for a a slightly higher price. The cord breaks very easily but the charge still holds until it doesn’t anymore.

A few days ago, i noticed that the little orange/green light isn’t even light up anymore but it was still charging, or so i thought. After a few hours, it didn’t move from the 11% mark, but i could work on my laptop with the cord plugged in. I knew it was time for a new cord but was honestly leaning towards the original one because for some bizarre reason, i thought it would last longer. Then i recalled why i purchased this one twice without getting the original one both times because the original one lasted two years and each of these lasted three. 6 years of spending under $80, hey, i’ll take this one over the original any day. That’s why i am back because i know for a fact this will outlast any original i’d be paying way too much for.

I purchased this for my client who purchased a renewed macbook on amazon. It worked just like the original. I would recommend this to anyone needing this specific ac adapter.

Used only a week, but it seems to be a great value. The magsafe connector may be a little stronger than the oem, and that’s good.

Lost my old cord, this replaced it perfectly

It would be helpful if the cord was thicker and longer like the original, but this will work for a while.

A good enough, inexpensive replacement for the apple charger but apple is still a better quality charger.

My laptop stopped charging and i wasn’t sure why. I didn’t want to spend $80 on the name brand charger if it wasn’t the problem. I bought this to test it out and turns out it was the charger. So far this charger has been working well. It’s not as long as the original/name brand charger which is a bummer. Other than that, it seems great. I’ll update if it causes my laptop to catch fire or something

My original laptop battery has gotten a few wear spots in it, and although it still works, i have to mess with it sometimes to get it to charge. Didn’t really want to pay $80 through apple for a new one, so amazon to the rescue. This charger does the job, i have had no issues with it so far, but it does not seem as heavy duty as the original charger. It does get rather warm, but so does the original. For less than $20, it was worth it to keep my computer charged, and i would purchase again.

It’s a replacement from the original charger that went bad. Does the job. Would recommend.

According to the price it is a good solution. The connector, the plastic body and the cable have a cheap appearance.

Works perfectly fine but only has the wall-plug snap-on attachment.
Looks and smells like the real thing.

What i appreciated about this product was that it really is basically the same as the apple charger. This has the same hooks you can utilize to wind the cord up, the same magnetic connection, and the same length. I’ve only had it for about 5 days, but i use it daily and have no complaints so far. It charges fairly quickly too! It gets a little warm, but no more than the other brands. Would purchase again!
