NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Butter Gloss, Non-Sticky Lip Gloss – Sugar Glass (Clear)

I’m somewhat cautious about cosmetics because i worry that i’ll choose the wrong color. However, this butter gloss is a great shade for me and i like that it’s a light hue so it looks like i’ve got naturally light pink lips. Perfect!

It goes on smooth and isn’t sticky like a lot of glosses can be. However, if you’re looking for an all-day shine, the glossy aspect doesn’t stick around terribly long (which is fine with me–my lips look more natural and the color stays put)! As far as moisturizing? It doesn’t exactly nourish my lips–it’s more for color–so once the shine is gone i’ve been putting on a clear lip balm to keep my kisser from getting dry and succumbing to the elements.

It’s flavorless and odorless, and this is an excellent price for a tube of lip gloss. Despite its inability to moisturize, the gloss is still a 5-star item for me because i don’t mind wearing a clear lip balm on top, the color looks natural and stays well, and it’s an overall great value.

Ok folks!! I started out wanting to try 1. I ended up getting 9 so far… The feeling is incredible and the smell is sensational!!!! You can’t go wrong with theses.. There not sticky and the gloss is like glass.. I’m still ordering more. I got 3 more coming tomorrow!!!!!

This was my first time buying a lip color online because it’s really hard to decide on a color unless i’ve used it before. This had really great reviews and the price was right for my wallet at the time. I would buy this again!

I have darker lips which always makes it difficult to achieve a light pink color. In this photo i used nyx nude pink liner topped with the nyx tiramisu butter gloss. I like the gloss because it’s not sticky. I will probably buy a second one to keep in handbag as a refresher through the day

The color is so pretty, it feels so nice on your lips and mine also came in a pack of 3? I know i only ordered one so i’m not sure if that was a mistake or what but either way i’m not mad about it! I def would recommend this gloss with a brown lip liner as the best duo!

This is my first time ever using a lip gloss or stick, so i don’t have much room for comparison. As a first time product user, it goes on smooth and.. Well buttery. Not insanely pigmented, but it goes on even and i have no issue with the color of it on. I actually love this color on me, will definitely wear out when i’m brave enough. Not rating longevity because i have no clue how long this type of product is supposed to last to know if it’s above or below average.

It makes my lips feel chapped and doesnt really last that long without being reapplied, but otherwise i love it!! The colors are awesome and the product itself lasts pretty long assuming its not used everyday.

I’ve been wanting this gloss for the longest and i’m so glad that i was able to get it for a good price too! It smells great, feels great, and looks amazing!

This lip gloss is soo smooth and smells really nice . It lasts a long time too . Not too sticky and not too runny

I hella love this product! Not super sticky-just enough sheen and color without being too much. I usually wear tinted balms so this was a little different but it’s great! Affordable and doesn’t have a taste or smell bad in the tube after a few uses. Get it!

It’s gritty! I have worn many different colors through the years and decided to purchase one i’d not yet worn,”madeleine”. While the color itself is complementary to my natural lip color, the weird gritty texture is so off putting! Was there a recent formula change? I’ve never experienced this with other colors.. Although it’s been a while since i’ve purchased from the butter gloss collection.

I did find if i use my lip mask, which has a heavier consistency, first then apply the gloss it’s not as noticeable compared to solely applying the lip butter.

Nyx professional makeup has a beautiful line of “butter gloss.” this is my 2nd purchase of fortune cookie & i loved it so much i wanted to share the look of it with hopes it helps you to decide if it’s for you. Pros-it’s definitely moisturizing, it glides on wonderfully, the tube lasted me awhile, so it stayed fresh in the tube every time i turned to it, it’s definitely sheer-you can see from my picture. It takes a couple swipes to get the full effect as well as smoothing it in with your lips. Con-hence my 4 star- it’s not long-lasting once on your lips. It is as long as you don’t do anything to interfere with it being on your lips such as drinking from a bottle of water, etc. The look you see in my picture smears off leaving a small touch of what i applied. So it’s beautiful as long as you do very little to not interfere with it. I still love it, which is why i purchased it again. The price is unbeatable on amazon & this is difficult to find in stores. I find i wear it with just about i’m wearing. I definitely recommend purchasing!

Very moisturizing and buttery! I got two shades. The clear one is very glossy! And i forgot the name of the other one but it’s a very beautiful color

Smooth, not sticky, doesn’t give you that weird buildup in corners…you do have to reapply throughout the day but doesn’t bother me at all. Had not dried my lips out as some (most) glossed do. I will be buying this again. And probably again……

Ordered praline and it’s great, however spiked toffee felt so grainy on the lips. It’s a shame because i preferred it over praline since it’s a bit warmer and darker :/

It’s a very cute and simple clear gloss. The wand doesn’t hold that much product on it so you have to dip twice to get enough, but it’s cute and not too sticky or thick feeling.

This was truly amazing it made my lips shine but it doesn’t last too long so only use a bit at a time otherwise you’ll run out quick

Very pretty but thought it would have more color!

I have about 5 of these. Only complaint is the longevity. You always have to reapply after drinking & eating. Also wish there was a bit more pigment, but that’s alright. I like to wear them over lipstick to give my lips a slick look & it also amps the color up a tad. These are a great deal price-wise when you compare them to rimmel or wet n wild (regarding pigment). The gloss is on the thicker side which i love. It’s not completely sheer like the above mentioned. You can see the color on your lips. Hope this helps.

Pinkish gloss for your lips. Like the nyx matte lipstick instead.
