To a point. If you rub your face on something it will transfer. I use it every day though because it helps a lot with helping it stay even with rubbing you will have makeup on your face it will just look a little patchy up close in that area.

I have very oily skin. I love this because it’s inexpensive and seems to work just as well as the urban decay all nighter. To use it, i apply primer (lotion kind) and fan it to dry. Then i spray this pretty lightly and dry it. Then i put on my whole face except mascara. I use concealer for my dark circles and to highlight and i set that with translucent powder. For contour, i use powder instead of dark concealer and that helps with the oiliness, too. I set my whole face with the dermablend translucent powder then spray this on again, kinda heavy and fan it dry. Then i put on mascara and lashes. It definitely helps and it’s affordable enough to be used generously.

10 for both. The price is perfect for the amount of ounces you get & it does give you that dewy, sun kissed look & last all day. I love it. I prefer this over mac’s ‘fix +’ to be honest & most of my cosmetics is from mac

My understanding is that a finishing spray takes the place of a powder so you don’t really need both. Also a spray would be better than powder for mature skin, as powder can accentuate fine lines & wrinkles by sitting in the creases & caking up.

Yes the dewy spray does provide a slight glow to matte foundations. I don’t know how it works to do that, but it does. I actually prefer the matte setting spray over the dewy. I have very oily skin and need to use a primer combined with a setting spray to make my makeup stay on all day. The dewy setting spray made my natural oily shine worse. If you do not have oily skin, then it would probably work well. Either way, i feel the nyx setting sprays are excellent in comparison to some other more expensive sprays. Their only downfall is the spray nozzle…it sprays out too much product. I hope this helps to answer your question 🙂

No- a good primer should moisturize your face and make application easier. You use this as a mist spray so it wouldn’t cover your face as well for use as a primer. You can use it before applying your primer though to be extra sure your makeup sticks

The product has alcohol in it. It’s designed for oily skin so yes it does dry out your skin if yours is already dry.

No, this is like a mist. It sprays very light and evenly. Make sure it is completely dry before you touch your face or your make-up will smear.

According to their website, these are the ingredients for the matte finish: water / aqua / eau, alcohol, vp/va copolymer, propylene glycol, disodium edta, niacinamide, sodium salicylate, plantago lanceolata leaf extract, mahonia aquifolium flower/leaf/stem extract, phenoxyethanol.

That’s exactly the purpose…use it over powder and it sets everything in place. Love this product.

No it does not….i love it!! When you first spray it on, it runs a little, but i just take my make up sponge and dap a little and let it dry before i continue with the rest of my make up. I like the way it makes my face feels, not oily or shiny like it normally was. I think it’s a great product and highly recommend!! I hope this bit of info helps!!

Yes, i can go through one of my 12 hour shifts looking about 90% of what i did at the start of my shift, so it works pretty well.

You can try it. You may try a primer on you eyelids. That would keep your eyeadow fresh all day then use the setting spray after for a definite lasting fresh look.

I wouldn’t use it for that, personally because powders are more heavy duty but it can if you are totally against powder or if you’re running out of time. Nyx also has an ultra hd setting powder that’s translucent. Might be good
