NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Mechanical Eyeliner Pencil, Black

This is my favorite eye liner I’ve found. I have to wear black eye liner every day or else I get comments about how tired I look. This stays on for several hours without re-applying and doesn’t smudge during the day. Goes on smooth. Doesn’t smudge or seep into the creases under my eyes which other eyeliners do. Recently went on vacation and found this to hold up after a couple of hours of being in the hot sun and pool.

I wanted a white lip pencil to trace the outside of my lips. This is perfect for that. It soft to use, but firm enough not to break. I don’t have to keep sharpening it because it’s mechanical and it lasts a long time. Not sure about water resistance. It can be smudged, which is what I do with it after lining my lips. But still visible enough to get the look I’m trying to get.

I have used one brand of eyeliner for ten plus years. The past few months I noticed when I for the pencil and I sharpened it it wouldn’t sharpen without eating away at the pencil. The mechanical one would be gone after a week of use. So I looked around and tried other eyeliners and came across NYC brand. I tried it because of all of the reviews. This is now my favorite eyeliner. I rubbed my eyes, I had watery eyes and it stayed on all day. It is smooth to apply and you don’t have to fight with it for the color to stay on.

This worked right through the next day!. I had no smudges, whatsoever!… Truly a great product; when you must wear makeup everyday!…. It goes on smooth, almost effortlessly .. only takes a little bit . . .

One of the best eyeliner products, on the market; with the best colors; my favorite is the bronze . . . Matches my Golden Bronze Lipstick, by Fashion Fair; an awesome combination!…. I’m hooked!

Love the product. Have been using it for a while. Previously purchased in a store. This time ordered through Amazon…..delivery people are getting worse and worse. Now this is a small very light envelope package. It was left on my back porch near the steps on a slightly windy day. Had I not found it, it was about to be blown off the porch. Love the product / Delivery SUCKS! This is not the first time I have experienced delivery issues for merchandise from Amazon online ordering.

Wow so I’ve been spending a fortune buying high end eyeliners when I should have been buying these instead. Nyx doesn’t disappoint here with wonderfully highly pigmented eyeliner that goes on as smooth as butter. It lasts a long time and I have to even use make up remover to get it all off. Did I mention they are around $5 each? I love it!

I’ve been using this eyeliner for awhile, and still love it! While it doesn’t last for hours on end, it is my favorite pencil liner for wing and water line. Brown is my favorite color too, not too harsh on the eyes but still beautiful!

I’m always on the lookout for a good automatic eyeliner in just the right shade of blue/green-Teal. ‘Gypsy Blue’ is the one! Long-wearing, smudge-proof, not too soft or waxy and great consistency.
I’ve tried expensive to bargain in my quest and must say that I’m impressed to the point of purchasing several at-a-time….(just incase)…;)
I keep one in my purse too as well as my travel bag.
Can’t say enough about this brand.

Color is gorgeous, exactly what I wanted, but the texture is SO SOFT that it broke as soon as I just touched it to my lid! I tried again using a softer hand (and I’m not aggressive with my application to begin with), and the same thing happened. Found it completely unusable for me as a pencil. I had to take a brush and dab the color onto my lash line.

I really like this eyeliner. I have been buying it for about a year now and have been very pleased. I will continue to buy it as long as they have it in stock

1. Roll it out as little as possible or it will break off. 2. It’s quite soft, so if it’s a hot day, keeping it in a cool place helps. The color is a rich dark brown, really pretty, and goes on silky smooth. I like blend around and smudge it and I was able to do that. It also stayed in place while sweating through Pilates class, and I live in the desert. I also bought the dark purple and it’s a nice dark smoky color, not too bright, lots of pigment.

I bought this eyeliner for my waterline and my inner corners. I didn’t realize this before I bought this but it goes on like a crayon, kind of. It’s thick and kind of pasty. I’ve only tried this once so far, and I tried it on my waterline. Pretty hard to put on but easier if you dry it with a Q-tip. It went on my waterline pretty clumpy— or not smoothly. The color really pops nicely. I pressed too hard when putting it on my inner corners and broke it off but there’s a good amount of eyeliner in there to last. Pretty waterproof. I’m pretty sure I messed up most of this because i don’t have much experience, but I’m sure if you know how to use eyeliner on your waterline, you’ll figure it out faster and it’ll work out much better than my experience. It’s a good product, especially for the price. I’d recommend it.

This was easy to apply as it was creamy and you have time to blend it before it drys. It didn’t last very long even though I ‘set’ it with powder. But the color is exactly what I have been looking for. Black eye liner is way too dark and brown is too blaa looking on me. Overall, I give it 4 stars because it didn’t last all day, but the neutral color and ease of applying is great.

The deep teal color really makes my blue eyes pop! Tons of pigment and goes on smoothly. It did smudge on plain skin which works for me because I like a soft line. Ended up with a bit under the eye though, so will try over a base next time. Can’t beat the price.

This is not my favorite line in the drugstore, but I couldn’t find my usual favorite in stock. A Lancôme artist took me to the drugstore when we need a blond eyebrow compact with brush. She said it was very close to Lancôme and NYX is budget friendly!

The eyeliner. Mascara and black eyeliner are daily staples for me. This liner is my back up as I prefer the liquid thin type, another brand.

Lots of humidity and heat in the area now. So, this liner may have been a 5 star item under better conditions. I like the simple, sleep design and the pigmentation is good. Self sharpening is key – my days with tearing at pencils with sharpening tools are over..

I will certainly give NYX a try again. I like the product line and the prices are reasonable. A+ shipping.

Nice color, but tends to break easily with just a bit of pressure applied. Won’t order again because of this issue.

Love this color for extra pop with brown eyes. You have to really apply for it to actually notice but i does the work. Love that i dont have to sharpen tip.

I am constantly searching for an eyeliner that is smudge proof and long lasting. This one is the best I have found yet for a reasonable price.

There are much more expensive ones that don’t perform as well. I’m still looking for one that’s actually smudge-proof & water-proof.
