Is this brush supposed to automatically turn off after 2 minutes of use?

It does not. Every 30 seconds it vibrates to let you know you can move to a different part of your mouth. When it reaches 2 minutes it vibrates for a longer period to let you know it’s reached its 2 minute mark but continues to run just in case you don’t feel like you’ve done enough.

Is this brush good for wisdom teeth

Yes, this is the best electric toothbrush i’ve used, and my dentist agrees – i just left the office after having a cavity filled. Only a week after an ultrasonic cleaning, there was significant plaque build up at the cavity site.

He asked what was going on and i told him i’d switched to a $200 sonicare about a year ago. We talked about the fact that this brush has a smaller circular head that allows one to get around and in between teeth better.

After 5 years with no cavities while using the pro, then a huge cavity after switching to the sonicare, i’m immediately buying another oral-b. Reckon i’ll use the sonicare for cleaning grout, but i won’t risk using it on my teeth again.

Brush head doesn’t fit on tightly or lock on. Are you supposed to hear it click when it’s on all the way or did i get a faulty unit maybe?

There is a notch near the top of the metal piece where head sits. The notch enables the head to click on. Thing is, the metal can break at the notch and it’s almost unnoticeable. I had one fall in the shower and land on the metal piece. I thought the toothbrush was fine but i was wrong. The toothbrush continued to work the heads no longer snapped in place.

How do you recharge the battery?

The base should have a plug an cord which plugs into an outlet. The body of the toothbrush then should fit securely into the base which charges the battery in the body of the toothbrush. There are indicator lights to show what is happening. All of this is explained in the instructions which came with the toothbrush.

How long does charge last?

It lasts for at least 28 minutes of total usage time. That can equate to 7 days if you brush for 2 minutes twice a day (4 minutes per day).

You can leave this on the charger in between each use because it’s impossible for the handle to overcharge the battery. It has a built-in system to turn off the charging system when the battery is fully charged. It only charges the battery when it’s needed. However, if you completely drain the battery, then a full charge can take about 22 hours.

When should i replace the oral b? The whole product?

The oral b toothbrushe will give you long service. I used my last oral b toothbrush for about 3 years before replacing! You’ll know. I was ready for an upgrade also.

Does all the oral b rechargeable use the same replacement heads?

All of our brush heads fit all of our electric toothbrushes, except pulsonic brushes.

What does open box- like new mean? Has it been used? Why is the box open?

I believe it means someone bought it, was not satisfied with it, returned it and it was offered again at a discount.

How long does the battery last?

Sorry, the one i bought is not battery operated. It’s a plug in and it replaced the one i had for years.

El producto es oral-b pro 500 o oral-b pro 1000 como dice en la caja?

Is it easy to grip? I have 2 fingers on my right hand

It is with a rubberized grip. The power button may difficult though

What is the differwnce between oeal b 1000 black and white version?

The colors. Seriously, that’s the only difference.

Will this fit on my older charger?

It should. My old charger was three years old and it charged it ok.

What are the power requirements for the charger?

Our rechargeable toothbrushes require 110v for charging.

Good work?

Yes works good

Battery not charging after 4 months of use do we have a warranty and how do we us it?

We’d be happy to assist you in any warranty questions. In the meantime, could you please try charging your brush in a different electrical outlet, making sure to avoid anything that’s metal? This type of surface will actually prevent your brush from charging properly. If this tip still doesn’t help, please give us a call at (800) 566-7252.

Does the charger support 220v?

No. You would need an adapter.

What’s the difference between black, white and blue in 1000 series

Yep, they are just color options. I don’t see the blue one anymore though. Regardless, a pro 1000 is a pro 1000 regardless of what the color is.

Can more than one person use this

2 people could share it. You’d have to switch brush heads.

Does this work with 220v

No. Use a converter. However, i have used 2 chargers in europe with a converter, but both chargers quit working as soon as i plugged in. There are no replacement chargers available, so i had to buy new toothbrushes.

Works very well

I got this after my dentist recommended me to go in for an electric tooth brush. I must say that the brush is pretty good and does a great job of taking the plaques and food residues out and does a through job of cleaning your teeth. The battery on the brush is also pretty good and holds charge for about 6-7 days easily (with an average usage of about 10-12 mins on a daily basis). One disadvantage is that the openings on the brush head make the paste go in and cleaning the brush itself is kind of hard. So far so good and i am satisfied with the purchase.

5Expert Score
Very good quality

I bought 2, 1 on sale and one full price. If you need bells, whistles, and blue tooth connection to brush your teeth, then don’t buy this toothbrush. It’s very efficient in deep cleaning if used properly, not pressing too hard or not enough. The spinning action is much better than the vibrating motion of other electric toothbrushes. In my humble opinion, it’s ludicrous to pay a hundred and thirty dollars for a toothbrush. But if you’re wealthy and your money is burning a hole in your pocket, then go ahead and buy a rolls royce electric toothbrush that connects with your smart phone.

Basic but powerful.

I’ve used oral-b electric toothbrushes for a long time. The battery lasts about a year and a half, so i replace the entire unit. Previous and more expensive models have a rubber comfort sleeve on the body, and i will say this comes loose after using and rinsing this brush 3 times a day. Water and paste will get trapped under. Gross.

This brush has a sleek plastic body, which solves this. It can get a bit slippery if wet, though.

The brush is as powerful as the higher priced brushes, which makes this a no brainer for me. Do i really need bluetooth for my toothbrush??? Lol.

5Expert Score
I like it

Good toothbrush. My teeth feel very clean after using it. Having it charge for about 24 hours for about a week’s worth of use twice per day is worth it to me, especially since i got this toothbrush on sale. But what doesn’t seem worth it is the replacement heads, especially when changing heads every three months is recommended.

5Expert Score
Works well, long battery life

A good toothbrush, and brushing teeth twice a day, the battery survives well over one week.

My only slight complaint is with the on/off button. You supposed to turn the toothbrush off while it is still in your mouth, to avoid splashing the toothpaste all over, but the button is sometimes not very easy to find with your finger. I wish it was more ‘distinctive’, more sticking out. But it is minor. Otherwise, i am happy with it.

Best affordable toothbrush

Best bang for your buck! Gets the job done and won’t break the bank. Oral-b has made a great toothbrush that leaves my teeth clean and refreshed. Would definitely buy again!

Our old ones were dying. Based on reviews of various oral b models, we chose this one as its top rated. It’s so much more powerful than our old ones. Very happy with it.

Leaves you with a super clean feeling.

Its a really nice brush. Simple to use. It leaves my teeth feeling super clean and seems to last longer than regular brushing.

Dentist clean

Ny times wired #1 rated toothbrush. I love being able to feel the tiny spaces between my bottom front teeth when there’s no plaque buildup. Previously i could only get that after a dentist visit. Now this thing gives it after every use. I have sensitive gums so i switched to the extra soft brush head.

Dentist clean

It is as if i just had a dental cleaning. After using this device my teeth is sparkling clean.

Works well but very noisy

This toothbrush really cleans my teeth. I also like the timer function because it reminds you that you are done with a section but it doesn’t “time out” or turn itself off when it thinks you should be done. This is nice for me because i like to brush my tongue as well. I took off one star because it sounds like a jackhammer though! It kind of rattles my head a little bit as well. Overall, i am happy to of purchased this toothbrush as it is the cheapest option that is reliable (oral b) and has the spinning function. In my research i found that sonic toothbrushes are great but the spinning function is the best.

Works as intended but not strong

I had the philips sonicare prior to this one but i ended up buying this per my dentist recommendation. So far i can notice a difference and that’s that while the oral-b brushes my teeth & reaches my gums better than the sonicare one it doesn’t have that strong vibration that i’m used to from the sonicare which makes the oral-b feel very underwhelming. However, the oral-b is very slim, lightweight, and easy to charge. It also takes less space in my bathroom which is a bonus. So while the vibration isn’t as strong as the sonicare it still has different features about it that makes up for lack of vibration strength.

4Expert Score
Squeaky clean, but really loud.

I will keep it. My teeth feel wonderful. It is really loud. I work really early in the morning 430am and i am concerned it might wake up my hubs. We will see. The brush head is really simple to swap out and everything as far as operation is simple and easy to use. I never read the instructions.

Basic 'pro' toothbrush

The only thing this has is the timer, not even a pressure sensor which these are supposed to have to make sure you aren’t brushing too hard.

The manual had info about a bunch of other features this brush doesn’t have, like sensitive mode, etc.

I knew it was the basic one but it should at least have the pressure sensor imo.

It’s asking me to rate bluetooth? I don’t think it has that at all.

It’s good for deep cleaning and it’s really is the most budget friendly option, but don’t expect any features at all.

4Expert Score
Better than phillips

I like this toothbrush much better than the phillips ones i’ve owned before. Much more effective cleaning. Also, the 2 minute timer helps you brush you teeth for an appropriate amount of time.

4Expert Score
Very lightweight

Gift for son and he likes it. I was surprised at how lightweight it is. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. It feels flimsy to me but i’m used to a heavier one but maybe that’s better so your hand doesn’t get tired holding it. I’m not sure

4Expert Score
Very basic model

This was almost the lowest of the price range of oral b. Doesn’t have timer feature but as long as it cleans, that is fine with me. Hoping it will at least last a year. I do like how it cleans.

4Expert Score
Really good toothbrush

Love the fresh clean feeling i have after brushing. Only downside is how noisy it is.

4Expert Score
Works but a little rough

Man it gets my teeth clean but i feel a bit roughed up after using it. The timer is useful so you know when to move to the next section…although at my age, i kinda inherently know when to move. It definitely gets the cleaning done. However, it feels a little rough so i use this brush at night and a manual brush in the morning…

4Expert Score
Good quality

The cleaning seems very good. The battery life has been about a week with daily use. The replacement brushes are too expensive so i get at least 3 months for each.
