I ordered this on my sister’s recommendation. She told me i had to try it. I knew it had mushrooms in it, but i didn’t know anything about the benifits of it. I sincerely thought my sister just liked the flavor.

Thirty minutes or so after drinking my first cup, i felt more focused, energized, and more like myself. I had been struggling for a month with feeling nearly lethargic, uninspired, and sort of depressed (not clinically, but i’m not sure what else to call it). I didn’t have the energy or motivation to do anything. I have felt exhausted like that from time to time, but only for a day or so, and then only rarely. I’ve never felt that way for a month. I didn’t want to see anyone because i didn’t have the energy to visit.

About an hour after drinking this coffee, i found myself calling my brother to bring my nieces over the next day because i missed them and wanted to see them. I started cleaning the house, and was inspired with art projects. I was barely making it from bed to chair before that coffee. Seriously. I was so tired…

The only thing i did differently that day was drink this coffee. And like i stated– i had no idea it might help me feel better. Boy did it!!!

When i told my sister how it helped me, she wasn’t surprised because it did the same thing for her!! I could not believe it!

This stuff helped me with anxiety, ‘depression’ (whatever that was that i had), energy, pain, and my brain feels so focused now!!

I normally operate like i have a bunch of browsers open at the same time in my head. With this coffee, all the background noise fell away and my mind felt clear and ready to go!!

I googled about the ingredients for quite a while because i felt so good that i was curious if it had naughty mushrooms in it or something. Lol! (only half joking) it wasn’t like i was high, i was just more me– without the weight of the world and constant anxiety bogging me down. It’s hard to describe. I just felt so much better!

My energy levels sky rocketed– not like that temporary, too-much-coffee energy. Not jittery. Just…younger feeling? That’s the only way i can describe it. It helped with middle age aches and pains. The pains aren’t gone, they’re just faded and not so much out front.

Anyway, this is a long, rambling review, but i really can’t remember ever being this excited about a product. This stuff is truly magical. It helped me. It helped my sister. It helped her son and also my son. That’s not just some strange coincidence. My 21 year old son also noticed the focus and the energy. He said he ‘just felt good’ and he felt ‘stronger’. He is coming off of a virus, so i think that’s what he was referring to with feeling ‘stronger’. He had the french press out the next day, making his mushroom coffee before work. That says something because he is not a regular coffee drinker. He even cleaned the press afterwards! Lol!

I wanted to share my experience in case someone else is struggling like i was. Maybe this could help? I thought i was just getting some fancy, pricey coffee. I never expected this! I’ll be keeping this in stock from now on, god willing.

By-the-way, the flavor: it is good. Fresh tasting. A pleasant, bold coffee flavor. I tasted no mushrooms and i never would have suspected i was drinking anything but regular coffee.

Game changer. I was to the point that i was going to have to eliminate coffee. My stomach had gotten to the point where it would no longer tolerate it. I started using this product 2 weeks ago. I can not stop talking about it. I only need one cup in the morning vs 4-5 of regular coffee. My stomach no longer has the coffee issues ( if yah know what i am talking about). I also feel like i am calmer and more focused with this product. My new favorite morning drink!

This coffee is a game changer for me. I drive trucks at night and have a hard time getting a full 8hrs of sleep daily. It’s always been 4 or 5 at best. I noticed that while starting my night feeling a bit sluggish; i begin to perk up. While 2 tablespoons of coffee tastes weak or watery in 16oz mug; 2.5 tablespoons seems to give me boost i need to make nightly drives. I do notice this selection seems to last almost 12 to 15hrs for me. Way too long. I did test that i begin drinking after 7p but stop drinking by 1a, then i begin to fall into drowsiness a lot sooner. I can sleep by 11am. I also add my creamer and half a teaspoon of cinnamon to add to the taste. I’m glad i tried this brand. This has helped me tremendously. Im thinking i can drink this daily because of how long it lasts; but maybe trying one of the others may not last as long and i can alternate. I did substitute my regular mcdonald’s coffee and it was a disaster. I struggled the entire drive. I’ll definitely keep trying to find the perfect fit for me but this first bag showed me that mushroom coffee can be my game changer. A definite great buy.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this coffee. It came to me on the recommendation of my doctor. I’ve been learning to navigate stomach ulcers and, after trying many, this coffee hasn’t caused me any pain nor discomfort thus far.

The flavor is rich, the grounds are fresh and it’s a beautiful thing to be able to enjoy my morning coffee again.

I was a little scared that it wouldn’t tast good but am very impressed. It is smooth with no after taste. Best coffee i have had in a long time. I am going to order this for now on

The taste is fantastic and it feels like a healthy way to start my morning. It is smooth tasting and rich with flavor.

I love this brew , it taste amazing , and i see people freaking out over the lead warning , im pretty sure its the strict laws of cali , they make you list things that arent even necessary, but with that out the way , it really feels like you get a brain boost without being overwhelmed with caffeine. And the taste is almost like hot chocolate with coffee , awesome !

To be quite honest, i stumbled across this product while looking for lower priced alternatives to mudwtr. I’d seen a few ads for mudwtr and wanted to check it out. Until i saw the price, that is. Mudwtr is a little over $7 an ounce (!), while the four sigmatic blend is a little over $1 an ounce. A pretty significant price difference, i’d say.

I have not tried mudwtr because of the excessive price. I like the idea of it and support what they are doing, but i am a heavy coffee drinker. I have worked swing shift for over 27 years and have given up soda and sweetened beverages. However, i drink a lot of coffee. It doesn’t seem to affect my sleep much, and i have way less adverse effects from caffeine than sugar, but…
I know that caffeine is not good for anyone in large amounts and that we should all cut back or eliminate it from our diets. I’ve been on a kick where i’m trying to eat and drink healthier to try to avoid more health problems as i age.

So back to the coffee. Cutting back hasn’t worked too well because i need something to stay awake all hours of the day and night, and most of the caffeine alternatives are worse for me than drinking coffee. Mudwtr sounds like a great idea because it is supposed to look like coffee and taste good but only have mushrooms and adaptogens in it – an energy booster without the coffee and caffeine and all of the associated side effects. But it runs about $2 a cup – a little too expensive for me to sustain in the long term. I love the idea of it, but i’d have to cut down to one cup every day or two.

The four sigmatic coffee is much more affordable. It comes out to less than 30 cents per cup. It also claims to give you the energy boosting and sharp focus effects of coffee without the adverse side effects. However, it has coffee blended with mushrooms (or is it the other way around?) instead of a non coffee blend. I found it to be pretty much as advertised. It looks and tastes like regular coffee. As mentioned earlier, i tried the lion’s mane blend, and it was excellent. Wouldn’t know it had mushrooms in it from the taste – just a regular medium dark roast. The claims of all the benefits with no drawbacks seems to be valid as well.
But…

… You can get a really good bag of coffee for $1 an ounce. I usually drink folger’s classic roast, and i can get a 3 pound can of that for $11. That works out to about 23 cents per ounce which works out to 6-7 cents per cup, depending on how strong i make it. I know money isn’t everything, but it does seem to make the world go round, and i never seem to have as much as i’d like.

So, as much as i’d like to make this coffee my daily driver, i don’t think i’ll be able to because of the price. For now it is my “day off” or “special occasion” coffee. There may be a day when i can switch to drinking it full time without cutting corners somewhere else (like buying less produce for example). Five stars for the product, i’m deducting one for the price. That’s just for me, though. I’d say if you can afford it, go for it, or try the mudwtr even. I’m going to continue to swap this out with the folgers and try to get the bag to last a while. Then, i’m going to try the laird superfood coffee which is similar to this one but a bit cheaper.

I have long suffered from both a crippling addiction to coffee and horrendous heartburn. I neither wanted to give up coffee nor take antiacids for the rest of my life, so i was doing some research on natural ways to reduce acid reflux and i happened to stumble upon this brand. When it arrived, i took a tentative sniff and frowned: that morning i had enjoyed an amazing imported brazilian coffee from a local store, and this four sigmatic stuff smelled like it was going to taste burnt, sharp, and dull in comparison. But i had already dropped about $18 on the bag, so i dutifully followed the instructors for cold brew and left it to steep overnight.

This morning i strained it – the resulting concoction looked very concentrated and the kind of leaded sludge you’d find burning in a pot in an auto repair shop. I thought about adding some water but decided to give it a go as is – i added ice, sugar-free salted caramel syrup and some heavy cream and stirred.

I was actually pretty astonished to find that the resulting drink was rich, smooth, and tasty. It tasted like a pretty good coffee and had no burnt taste, aftertaste, or anything negative. I will say that as far as sheer taste is concerned, i’ll take my local brazil-sourced coffee any day but this stuff is good. I’m gonna go through the bag and see if it has any measured effect on my acid reflux. If i can drink it and not feel my stomach burning, this will be my go-to daily coffee and i’ll indulge in the really good stuff as a treat here and there.

Tastes good . I’ve been drinking it for years. Lion’s mane mushrooms are very good for the body and support with focus.

I do love that it is a great tasting decaf coffee. I love the addition of the mushrooms and highly recommend this for those that are not reactive to either aspects of coffee or mushrooms.

I didn’t realize that i had gotten less caffeine coffee, but i didn’t mind it because the flavor was soo good! I just had an extra cup to ensure my max energy boost!

Instructions says 4 scoops for 1 cup. The ashwagandha you don’t taste which is great. I’ve tried this in drip and french press and the taste is very different between the two, i usually don’t prefer french press but with this i’ll have to use it

Wasn’t worth that much money…to me.

I usually drink a very dark roast meditteranean organic coffee. I want to ease myself off coffee and this seemed like a good way to healthily segues. Hah, this is so good it makes me want more. This is mellower and none of usual bitterness a high acidic coffee has. I would have given 5 stars except it is expensive. However, so is everything these days. Thank you for this product and your dedication to providing a quality product.

I didn’t really know what to expect, but i found i enjoyed the flavor of this coffee. I generally drink it black and used an aeropress to make it. I also found i felt a bit sharper after drinking this as compared to regular ground coffee. Maybe it was just a good week or all in my head, but i felt a bit more productive in the mornings that i drank this. I wish the price were lower, but it does seem to be a good product.

The taste is comparable to a good regular coffee. To be honest, the taste of food and beverages has deteriorated over time i am unsure of what i am eating or drinking or if it good for my body.
