Is this very similar to lanolin? I’ve been using lanolin to help my 22 month old’s eczema, & it’s all that works, but i’d prefer something natural…
Yes, this is similar to lanolin. I have not use this firsthand, but my daughter uses it for my grand baby. She has used it for scrapes and rashes & seems to clear up rashes after first use. Also a friend uses it for her twin grand babies eczema and is helping with the redness and itching.
Lanolin stained all my bras and tanks. Does this stain too?
I used nursing pads for a long time, but towards the end i didn’t and i don’t remember after washing them there being a stain. But if it does stain your bras this product is well worth it!!!
What are the ingredients?

Does the product contain beeswax? If so is this a concern for botulism? (infants should not consume honey for this reason)
Yes it does contain beeswax: – dermatologist tested and clinically tested for irritation. – no petroleum, parabens, or lanolin. – usda certified 100% organic, now contains organic beeswax – the first non-gmo project verified nipple cream!organic olive (olea europaea) fruit oil, organic beeswax (cera flava), organic cocoa (theobroma cacao) seed butter, organic shea (butyrospermum parkii) butter, organic mango (mangifera indica) seed butter, organic calendula (calendula officinalis) flower extract
I received this item as a gift, and it has a grainy, beady texture. Is this normal, and what is it?
Hi i work with butters and oils and make handmade products. The grainy texture is normal, this is the shea butter. Shea butter that is raw and unrefined is notorious for creating a bead like grainy texture once it melts and hardens but it is completely fine. It does not affect the quality or benefits of the product and still contains the skin nutrients your skin loves. On a side note, if refined shea was used then the product would never get grainy even if the heat melted it and hardened again however refined oils and butter generally have lost most if not all the nutrients in the oil or butter but will still moisturize your skin. Hope i cleared it up a bit.

How does it smell?
It smells like cocoa
Is this unscented?
It has a coco butter smell but i believe it’s all the organic ingredients natural scents combined together. I do not believe any ingredients are put in it just to make it smell good. I love this products. Use it after every feeding!
Is the container bpa free?
Yes
Is this product gritty like when you first put it on your fingers?
Actually, i would conditioner it a little gritty. Not so much that is bothers me or is irritating at all, though. I actually use it on my infant’s eczema.
How is this product better than just using organic shea butter or organic cocoa butter or organic olive oil? I already have all three for skincare.
Organic nipple butter is carefully formulated with herbs traditionally used to soothe and help moisturize dry, hard-working nipples – including organic cocoa butter and organic shea butter. Additionally, evidence-based research supports calendula’s safe use for healing cracked nipples, giving earth mama nipple butter an effective boost to bring your nipples back to their happy place. We hope this helps!

I thought it was supposed to smell good. Mine smells terrible. Is it supposed to be stinky?
It may have gone rancid (like the oils will do eventually). Mine has always had a pleasant smell. Maybe see if you can contact the seller for a replacement?
Can i use this on my baby skin?
You sure can! Organic nipple butter is safe to use from top to bottom and on baby, on mama, on everyone. Hope this helps!
Is this two 2oz packs or two 1 oz packs ?
They are 2oz containers each, so you get a total of 4oz of butter.
The last time i ordered no safety seal; is it supposed to have one?
According to reviews and answers on here it does not come with one. However i would ask for a return/refund since you don’t expect a new product to come unsealed (not safe). If the item was shipped/sold by amazon contact customer service and explain the issue; they should help you out. If you bought from a third party who shipped it themselves you need to contact them first and if they won’t help you contact amazon customer service.
I have seen a few people on here upset about the seal and thinking they can’t return. I would advise everyone to read up on all of amazon’s return policies before purchasing. If an item is damaged/defective or ‘not as described’ you are entitled to a replacement or refund. Even if an item may not seem to fit into those categories, if something is wrong with it (like not being properly sealed in a way most people would expect) it doesn’t hurt to contact customer service and explain the issue.

When will this product expire if i buy today?
Mine says it expires in 2022 and i bought it this year
Should the item be sealed or is there no seal on the jar?
Earth mama balms leave our facility with a lid and in a box, but don’t have another seal. All product lots are tested for gram negative and gram positive bacteria, as well as yeast and mold. Hope this helps!
Does anyone have a tip for getting it out of clothes?
It stained my cotton cloth nipple pads and the stain was gone after washing a few times in lukewarm water.
I’m currently pregnant and buying my things, how long is the expiry for this product?
Oh my goodness, congrats to you mama! Organic nipple butter’s shelf-life is 36 months and you can find the best-by date on the bottom of the jar.
Is it helpful for milk blisters?
Yes. I use it when i get a milk bleb and let it air dry for a bit before putting it back in my bra. I love it.
This product is wonderful. I chose this over other nipple moisturizers because i wanted something organic.
A couple of huge pro to this product is: – you don’t have to wipe it off before nursing – this goes on smooth (like butter). Other nipple moisturizers that i tried were really sticky. That’s not what you want when you are trying to put them on your sore nipples. -a little goes a long way
some reviews i read was that it smelled or it stained their clothing. I didn’t experience either. However, i wear nursing pads so i don’t have to worry about staining my bra. It doesn’t smell like roses but it doesn’t smell terrible.
Highly recommend this product. I have put this on at least once a day and i have never had chapped, cracked, or dry nipples.

Moisturizing, smooth and inoffensive scent
I was skeptical when a few youtube moms with newborns were recommending this nipple cream, but i popped it on my registry anyways to give it a go and i’m glad i did! It’s got an inoffensive, slightly earthy scent. Texture is melty, velvety and soft and it spreads easily. It definitely relieves some of the dryness, soreness from cluster feeding and has become part of my breast-care routine to help the journey of breastfeeding my lo be a successful one. I also enjoy the fact it is a more organic and natural alternative to other creams available on the market.

Staple
Wife writing a review, i absolutely recommend this to anyone! Have used it over the last 6 months, helped with bleeding and cracking towards the beginning. Has also helped when using a pump. I will use this every single time i have a baby. I use reusable nursing pads in my bra, and i just wash those with a cup of vinegar and hot water and it easily comes out of the pads.

Love this stuff (better than the lansinoh stuff)
I love this nipple butter it’s so much better than lanolin cream because it’s not sticky and doesn’t pull on your already sensitive nipples and it’s better than the lansinoh nipple balm because it cleans off easier and doesn’t have as weird of a smell. Definitely worth the buy and lasts a lot longer than you’d think 🙂

Life saver
This stuff was a life saver for me. I was so sore from pumping and feeding. Would cringe everytime my little one would latch on or when i would start my pump from tenderness. Starting putting this on after every feeding/pump and it helped sooth tenderness and any chapping tremendously.

My nipples love it
This is the best stuff ever made for your nipples. I swear by it great for sore and/or dry nipples. I even had some dry cracks on my hands put some in it and the cracks went away in a couple days.

Grainy texture fixed ion microwave
I’ve now ordered three of these jars! All from amazon. The first jar- perfect. The second- super grainy and hurt to spread on already sore nips! So i microwaved the grainy jar (no lid- it’s metal! Lol) about 30 seconds until it was completely liquid and let it cool over night with no lid and it came out the perfect creamy texture of the first jar!

Amazing after one use
This calmed and hydrated my sore nipples after one use. I was using a lanolin cream before this and my nips were still tender after multiple uses throughout the day. Worth the money especially that it’s organic and lanolin free. My baby latches on more so i’m assuming she likes it too cause she gots crazy for it 10/10 will recommend to my mommy friends!

More than a nipple cream
I did originally ordered this to be used as a nipple cream but one day after trying so many different diaper rash creams/ointments without any good results, i resorted to using this and let me tell you that i will never use anything else for it. I saw a difference from one day to the next. He’s little bottom was so raw at first that he would cry from the pain. He’s a happy baby now and i can’t thank this product enough. I want to mention that also use se coloidal silver on a small spray bottle and use it first to kill any bacteria and then i apply the nipple butter. This combo is amazing and nothing has worked as good as this. Did i mention that is also great on your hands? I love this thing and can’t recommend enough!!!

This was a holy sent in the first week of breastfeeding. Clustering in the first days is a hard adjustment, this butter was magnificent. Highly recommend. Saved my nipples.

Great but hated the smell
Great brand, smell was horrible in my opinion. But it helped with nipple healing while i exclusively breast fed for the first month. I still use now that i am exclusively pumping! Just have to smell essential oil before i lather it on 🙂

Great product
Definitely helped with my sore nipples

Does what it’s meant to
Super easy to spread. Extremely moisturizing. Really helps with any dryness and cracking which helps a lot with nipple soreness. Baby is perfectly fine with latching on after applying and doesn’t get sick or react to product negatively. I would definitely purchase again for myself or for another breast feeding mother.

Good but i like the lansinoh ointment better
I dislike that this is in a jar and when you have fingernails – as most women do – it’s harder to get it out. I also prefer the way the lansinoh ointment feels and how it’s easier to apply.

Love!
I love how many natural ingredients are used in this nipple butter. It feels great and is very moisturizing. I am not a fan of the smell, but two months later i am starting to get used to it. I put a little on my lips to see what a baby would taste, and it tastes a little like prunes. Not bad! Will be buying again
