Love the hp ink. It works great with the printer and does not smear.

My brand, exactly what i want, and the size is what i like choosing for the price; perfect product for my printing jobs.

While expensive, the ink lasts, doesn’t clog or clump the print head and after the ink dries, it does not fade after time.

I had never installed an ink cartage before. So i watched a hp utube video. Didn’t exactly go right in easily, but after about 6 tries i finally got it in the hp printer.. Hopefully it will go easier next time..

Here’s the thing; i purchased ink cartridge refills (black & color)from a brick/mortar office supply store in december 17, 2021 and installed in the printer the next day. I had to replace the black ink cartridge in march 28 2022 so i’d say there was above average longevity from the b/m supply since i also printed christmas cards plus sympathy notes from dec thru march. I needed another black ink cartridge right away and ordered from amazon b/c speedy-next-day delivery. Oh, but wait! The printer balked at a print job today b/c the black ink cartridge is ‘low’ and that’s after just one month of average use. Really, amazon? Do you really think i’m happy having to purchase another cartridge after just one month? Btw, speedy delivery was once your novelty–no more.

I solely purchase this xl to yield large quantities of printing of word only notes from school notes and such. There’s no pictures involved. I’m getting 1/2 to 3/4 of the advertisement yield of printing pages. It’s like they’re not filling the ink cartridges up properly or something. I’m getting discussed. Perhaps i’ll just add it to a file and take it to a printing place to print out. At the end of the day, i’ll be paying about the same to print everything anyway. It’s a hit or miss with these cartridges. With everything going up, it seems some products are cutting back in quantity. I wish there was a way to determine if i’m getting the correct amount of ink. Perhaps weighing each brand new cartridge is ideal. Use your own judgment is all i can say.
