Panda 110V Electric Portable Compact Laundry Clothes Dryer, 1.5 cu.ft, Stainless Steel Drum Black and White, PAN725SF

I had contemplated getting a portable dryer for quite awhile. I was a little skeptical at first. I didn’t know what type of outlet it needed. It’s just the typical 3 prong like your microwave and the voltage as well. So i didn’t need an adapter of any sorts. I did purchase an indoor lint kit. The kit came with everything that’s need for the vent on the back of the dryer. This compact dryer really gets the clothes dry. I love it.

This little guy is perfect for what i needed. I do not have a dryer hook up or a place for one in my house. It’s perfect for what i needed. I use it to dry socks,tshirts,underwear, and sheets. It is limited because of the size. I put maybe 4 or 5 tshirts in it and it does great. If you need a dryer for small things then this is perfect.

I work out of town so i live in my camper.i love this little dryer. It looks alot smaller in person but i can fit 2 thick ariat fr jeans in it. I own a portable washer that i use in my camper and needed a dryer for my rv since its always raining where i’m at. Now i dont have to go to the laundromat to dry my clothes. I love this little thing. I can either fit 2 thick fr jeans in it or a fr jean,2 fr button up fr shirt. Or a bunch of underwear and socks. It does take a little time to dry the jeans since it runs off 110v but its worth it. My jeans are completely dry in about 1 hr and 30min. I posted some pictures for size reference. My jeans are 36×32

Just the perfect size snd vents right out window. Drying tome is a little long but does a great job. Would buy again.

I just started using this yesterday. I have a midea portable washing machine 1.6 cu.ft.top loading washing and the way i’ve figured it is that half loads in that machine will be the maximum amount that this dryer can accommodate. I was able to find a 3′ to 4′ converter to connect the indoor vent and hook up was quick and easy. I have found that it is more time efficient to turn the dial to the red area between 120 to 200 minutes as it does seem to be hotter in that range vs the lower orange/yellow time ranges.
Plus, i don’t have to deal with the built in cool down time in the lower time range. If i want to run a 1 hour cycle, i just set the dial to 180 minutes and stop it at 120 minutes so it will be hot the whole time. The following sized loads took an hour each to dry: 1) 4 sweatshirts (mens medium/large), 2) about 12 washcloths/dishrags, 6 pairs of cotton socks, 4 pairs of flannel boxer shorts and 2 tee shirts, 3) 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 6 dishrags/washcloths. Right now i am drying a smaller load of 3 thermal tops with a tee shirt. They came out bone
dry after an hour. In case you are wondering about sheets (the main reason i got this machine), a single queen size sheet will fit. I try to not fill the drum more than about half full to allow for efficient tumbling and drying. I could stuff the other sheet in but it wouldn’t dry very well. Btw, i run 2 spin cycles after each load to extract more water from the clothes. I have this on top of my refrigerator and it fits perfectly. The room it is in is a combo living/dining/kitchen/office multipurpose room. It did get a little bit warm when running this when the oven was on but otherwise it doesn’t seem to heat up the room too much. Humidity went from 30 to 50% which is fine in the wintertime. In the warmer
months i plan to vent it out the window. If you don’t mind doing smaller loads more often and are limited on space this could be what you are looking for if you want to skip the laundromat.

Update: this is my third week of using the dryer and i’m getting the hang of optimal load size and what temp range and time to use. Biggest challenges so far are: pants (at least corduroy) come out wrinkled (even when dried alone), only 1 queen size sheet fits so it takes 2-3 hours to dry the whole set. When i get the load/temp and time just right the clothes come out beautifully. My goal is to dry the loads in an hour. This is a pretty amazing little thing. You just have to be willing to accept the size limitation but i am working around it. I find it’s actually easier and faster to keep up with my laundry by doing smaller loads more often. If you want a dryer but are very space (and outlet) challenged i recommend seriously considering this product. Of course, this is really best suited for a single person, perhaps a couple without children.
Update 3/8/15: i’ve been using the dryer for 2 months and have come to love it. I have figured out the right size load/temp settings to dry the loads within an hour (i do two extra spin cycles on my portable washer to reduce drying time). I typically do several small loads a week but i’ve been sick and let it pile up. No problem! By the time the first load dries, the second load of wash is ready to go in the dryer. Before
the dryer i was doing wash all day long on one of the weekend days but no more. I’ll get through the 4 loads i have today in a few hours. Pants are still problematic as they come out too wrinkled (i hate ironing) but i spray them with wrinkle releaser and they come out looking pretty good. Sheets still take several hours as you can only do 1 queen sheet at a time but it so so worth it to not have to trudge out in the snow and sub freezing temps to go to the laundromat just to dry a few things.. The best part is i really haven’t noticed an increase in my electric bill! People have complained about cleaning the lint filter. I always clean the lint filter after every load in any dryer i’ve had. This one needs an extra step or two but it’s no biggie. I know cleaning the lint filter helps it dry more efficiently and that’s what i am after. I have included front and side views (side view with indoor vent kit attached), the lint filter and an example of a load that i dried in an hour.

Update 11/24/16: a little before the 1 year warranty was up the dryer started making a scraping noise. Eventually i notice a white piece of felt protruding from the drum. I contacted the company after the warranty was up (my fault) and was told it was the felt that cushions the dryer drum. In all honesty, my interactions with the company were very pleasant. The problem is that it could take as long as 2 months to get the felt from them at 18.00 or buy another drum with the felt for 60.00. Just wanted to let people know that there could be some issues if you need a replacement part. I know this makes me hesitant to purchase from them again despite their helpful service.

First off, i had the panda washer and knew i wanted a panda dryer since i had such a great experience with it. The washer i have has a 10lb capacity and can fit a load directly from that to the dryer except for pants. This machine takes the same amount of electricity as my washer 850w which typically a dryer can take from 1800w-5000w, so if your thinking you can do a load of regular clothes in the typical 45min that a big washer does i think you need to bring down your expectations. If you want to dry quicker i recommend you get a more powerful dryer though it’ll probably cost you a good $100 more and will sort you more on your monthly bills. As well as the size of dryer based of in person measurements are 23 1/2 tall 19 1/2 in wide 13 in depth. Inside the drum is 9 1/2 inches deep. As for nosie level it is very quiet that i don’t even hear it running till i hear some buttons clank around the drum. In the manual they say it takes typically 1hr for clothing to dry on high heat on the hottest setting or 100min on the medium heat setting. I personally always have the button down for high and use the hottest setting(the red bar) and time myself for 30min, once the timers up i’ll take out the clothes and whip them out straight and flip them inside out or right-side out and set another 25min. (very important to flip them because it can drop the drying time by like 20min) i can wash 3 thick work pants with a pair of socks and undies and drying time takes about 1hr 25min or so on high/hot heat. But that is some really thick material. As for rags they take like 20-25min on high/hot. Shirts take 45min on high/hot. As for blankets i can fit a full bead spead with 3 pillow cases minus the comforter in and dry in about 30 to 45min so long as i whip them out and flip them halfway through on high/hot. Now for regular everyday jeans it take about 1hr and 5 to 10min to dry on high/hot. I personally wanted the smallest dryer i could find since i’m limited in space. And i wanted something that can take the amount of clothing my washer washes and so this fit all my needs. Plus, it came as a vent kit combo so i liked that i wouldn’t have to spend money separately for that. But if your washer takes more than 10lb of clothes you might want to get a bigger dryer. Or if you want it to dry sooner than an hour than maybe one that is more powerful than 850w. But from the perspective that most big 1800w+ dryers take 45min to dry and this is only 850w i feel like it’s amazing so long as you realize what you are buying. Also an important thing to note is that i realized the white felt like bit in the filter does need to be cleaned as well as with the filter for consistent heating i use a lint roller to clean it. Also i tried using 2 dryer balls to reduce heating time but only later learned 3 to 4 are recommended for small to medium loads and now see about 20min shaved off the drying time.

After some trial and error with venting this mini dryer (i hate venting dryers, i’m really bad at it) this dryer exceeded all of my expectations and then some. You cannot treat it like a full sized dryer but it dries my children’s clothes in an hour or less. The timer goes up to 200 minutes, and i only need that much time personally with jeans or queen-sized bedding. My full sized dryer is out of commission until i replace the belt and this purchase was intended to be a temporary fix however i’ve used it for several months and do not plan on going back to my full sized dryer. Drying smaller loads helps me break up housework. As a single mother of 2 children, i always dry much more than i have the energy to fold and put away with a full sized dryer. This is perfect for my family and fits perfectly beside my computer desk. Remember that this dryer needs filter replacements, but it’s very easy to do with this mini dryer. Setup was almost no steps whatsoever, i popped the dryer out of the box and plugged it in, hooked up the included vent (after a few messups on my part) and she was ready to go.

I have had this dryer for a little over a year, i purchased 5/2021 and this little dryer has been amazing! It holds quite a bit of clothes and dries them completely! Still a year later!

My honest review.. I’m truly happy with this purchase, i have no connection in my apartment and this is the perfect size for me.. This little thing gets hot. I’ve noticed it vents better out the window than with a indoor vent.. I’m truly happy that i can stay indoors and not load up my car and go to the laundry mat!!! Shopping was fast, price is higher due to the inflation but again on rainy days i can stay in bed and dry my clothes

I saw all the pictures of gross used machines and figured that likely wouldn’t happen to me, or maybe they were just trying to bash this brand. I was mistaken. I took a quick look inside when it first arrived and didn’t notice anything. Just now i opened it up to run the first load of laundry through it and noticed black spots on all of the white plastic fins inside. There’s also some waxy/oily substance smeared all over the inside of the stainless drum, probably the same black stuff. It’s a very cute dryer but i’m not willing to test it out with this substance inside. I thought about just cleaning out the drum but who knows if this same stuff is in the vent area that i can’t reach. If so it could become airborne in my home as a vapor so nope. The size is perfect and i like the looks of the dryer. I’d love to exchange for a replacement of the same brand but i’m worried that i’ll just keep getting another used dirty one.

Great for small spaces.

So i’ve done small space living for awhile. I already purchased a small space washer absolutely love it. This dryer does great. It is small but it works really well. To ease wrinkles don’t overload dryer. No complaints would 10/10 recommend

I love it, but learn how to use it. I was wrinkling everything, i was so mad at the dryer, but you can’t over dry it. I mean i’m still going to get a regular dryer because if like you do bigger loads, but this is a good temp

This machine is very quiet. The control is kind of tricky and you have to get used to it. Clothes come out dry. The only thing you have to do to try to eliminate wrinkles is go through the cool down. Be sure to change your filter after every dry very important for the maintenance and longevity of the product. Great for smaller spaces.

I have been using this dryer for almost five months now and it’s done quite well. Our apartment has no hookups and the coin laundry prices are ridiculously high so we bought the black and decker portable washer and this dryer. It’s fairly quiet and gets small loads (2 to 3 tshirts and a couple pairs of underwear or one to two pairs of pants) done fast. You can put it anywhere you have a standard 3 prong outlet (most us wall outlets) if you’re not able to vent to outdoors, make sure you get the indoor venting attachment as it gets super warm vented inside. It does okay vented out my bedroom window but kind of sucks on hot summer days. That’s pretty much any dryer though. We are considering using this for supplemental heating in the winter it’s so hot. My only complaint is i wish load capacity was a bit larger. It doesn’t keep up with my portable washer in terms of load size and i have to split a load in half or sometimes even thirds to get it done effectively. I knew it was a mini dryer when i bought it so i can’t complain too much, just don’t expect the same capacity or dry time for a standard size dryer and you won’t be disappointed.

This machine is awesome. I was looking for a dryer for my new york apartment and i love this thing.

The clothes may take longer to dry than you’re used to but that’s because it doesn’t cook your clothes at a high heat like a normal dryer. I’ve found that my clothes are actually softer because of the heat difference.

Once the machine has been dryer multiple loads i’ve found that it might take about 40-50 minutes to dry a load but that is about as long as my portable washer takes to wash so it almost works out perfectly.

The dryer also only needs to be vented out a window so i’ve found it is extremely easy to set up and take down. I’ve already started to recommend this to friends because i can’t get over how great it works.

It does what it says it does, but is slow with bigger loads, so keep that in mind. It is a lot smaller than i thought it was, i put a roll of paper towels in it and it pretty much filled the drum vertically.

This thing is awesome for apartments without washer or dryer hookups. I don’t pay electric so i can’t speak for the energy effency. It takes about as long as a normal dryer and it also has a cool function so you don’t burn yourself. You can fit about two handfuls of shirts or about 2 or 3 jeans depending on size. Comes with a built in removable lint catch so you don’t need to buy one.

I wish it a little larger but love it
