I have used this to trim and shave facial hair, shave my head and trim body hair. Works great, very easy to use. There are plenty of attachments, i just haven’t used many other than the closest cuts.

The battery does last quite a while also, but i usually charge it more often than needed. Definitely don’t want to be caught in the middle of a trim with a dead battery.

Note: shave is not actually shave. Still have to use something else to get a closer cut than this trimmer.

This is exactly what i was looking for. Norelco never disappoints. For me the best, beside the several attachments is that you do not have to worry about oil for the groomer. That is a big plus and it works just perfect. The only negative, there should be a light that shows you when it is fully charged, but 60 minutes for a fully charged groomer gives you a lot of time. Highly recommended – 5 stars!

I used to have a luscious bead of hair from my chest pubes down to my ball fro. Not anymore! I’m a pruned machine thanks to this beauty! This would make a perfect gift for a man or woman, especially if it’s before date night!

I will for sure recommend this to anyone! Life has been great since i received this. Garbage man probably hates me, hopefully the bag doesn’t rip. I will repurchase if anything happens to my current razor.

This norelco shaver/trimmer has performed flawlessly the five times i have used it to trim and shave facial and body hair. It has never ‘bitten’ or ‘cut’ me, but instead has been very smooth and comfortable. Use its attachments wisely and you should have no problems. Also, the battery holds its charge nicely, as i have yet to need to re-charge it.

In short, this shaver/trimmer offers fine value and excellent performance for the price.

Bought this groomer to replace an older different brand that lost it’s sharp edge. This is an amazing groomer for the price and does a great job grooming a beard and cutting hair. Lots of adapters for different lengths. It’s a little loud around my ears but that’s ok. For the price, it’s an impressive groomer.

Seriously, this has been my favorite hair clippers i’ve gotten this far. It holds a charge for what seems like forever, it trims my face hair perfectly, and it isn’t obnoxiously loud! I love it.
Also, i’ve never used a nose hair trimmer before, so the included attachment was a fun little thing to play with! Haha!!

This is the third electronic trimmer i’ve bought in 12 years. It was actually super smooth and had more accessories than i thought. Also comes with some charge so i used it immediately to shave the neck beard that was bothering me. Cardboard back on package so no knife or scissors to open it. Surprised for the price that it’s this good.

Have been using these clippers for 5 years. First pair quit working when i knocked them off the counter, but the second pair has been going strong for over 3 years. I use them on beard, hair, and sideburns.

Gifted one to my son, and after seeing it there was no question about getting one for myself. Great battery life. Only downside is there is no battery indicator light. Plenty of tools, and the head pops off to clean easily. Storage bag could be bigger.

This was very easy to use and it feels great in the hand of the user. The item is very sturdy i even cut the sleeves off of my shirt with this item. Overall great product.

I’ve had an old trimmer for many years. It could make it through a trimming before the battery died, but barely. Time for an upgrade. This one was pretty cheap cost wise, and has lots of trimmer heads to adjust the length. The old one had an adjustable head that could slip and then you end up with varied lengths. These heads are solid and snap off and on with ease to provide consistent length throughout the trimming. The cutting blade must be pretty sharp because it mows through the hairs very quickly. Great feel and weight, easy to use.

Let me set the stage here. I don’t grow a full thick beard, once in a while i will grow one that once it gets a little more than i want it to be i use this shaver to trim it, so it is tight on the face. So that and the nose clippers are the main reason i use a shaver like this. If that sounds like you, great guy, well made, good power and many attachments. I assume that if you are a beard carrying guy and you maintain it well that this unit will do the job, but since i am not that guy, i cannot say. For what i explained above its perfect.

After shaving every day for the last 35 years, this is my first beard. Two swipes with the dog clippers were enough to go searching for a better solution.
The norelco trimmer is a good solution for any beard. The included cutters and combs should be enough for anyone unless you have a very unusual situation.

The good
* battery life seems quite long. I haven’t recharged it yet. More than enough to cover most normal vacations without taking the charger. I trim about once a week though, so i’ve used it probably 4 or 5 times
* easy to use.
* included combs and cutters cover nearly every situation.
* price is an excellent value.
* bare cutters against the face or neck do not cut the skin, although they can cause some short-lived redness.

The bad
* the charger is a hard-wired wall wart with a barrel style plug. Why on earth doesn’t this use usb charging? Since i don’t anticipate needing to actually travel with the charger it’s not so bad, but if you lose the charger, you’re probably looking at just buying another whole product. Also, a $0.10 led to indicate charging / charge complete would be worth it.
* although the cutters and combs are easily removed and rinsed, you’ll get significant debris on the main unit. Static electricity will ensure it stays put. The base unit can not be rinsed, so clean up on the base is a hassle. It would be much better if this could be rinsed.
* the bare cutter on the neck leaves behind a little stubble so if you’re looking for a sharp line with a close shave under it, you’ll need a razor.

For the price, the negative aspects are tolerable.

Push up on the *bottom* of a comb to remove it from the cutter.
Push up on the *top* of the cutter to remove it from the base.

I don’t use any of the attachments, so i can’t comment on those, but the trimmer itself does a good job. I use it mostly on the sides of my hair in front of my ears. Many other trimmers i’ve had over the years have to be pressed against this hair multiple times to cut through all of it. This trimmer goes through with a single press.

This has been working great for the past month, but i will be curious to see its longevity. It is comfortable to use and it trims very well. It did go to a dead stop once during a trim, and it seemed like it was completely jammed or broken. It did not slowly die like it was low on battery or anything. But it wouldn’t turn on and i thought it was done for good. I decided to let it charge the battery just to be sure, and it works fine now. I guess i will know in time if this is reliable or not.

I bought this as a beard trimmer and it definitely gets the job done. The only problem is that it lacks the trimming collection feature of other phillips trimmers so you end up with trimmings all over the sink. Other than that, it’s worked well.

Well, it was a bit smaller than i anticipated. However, if i had watched the video for the product i would have better gauged it ‍

nonetheless, very powerful and i got a clean shave and trim (i’m bald for the most).

The battery life exceeded my expectations. Im not doing heavy beard trimming, just daily ear, nose, and sideburns. Still, it took 4 months before i had to recharge it.

Nose trimmer also works better than expected. I used a cheap knockoff brand before this and didn’t realize what i was missing until it died and i replaced it with this norelco. It cuts the hairs deep in your nose/ear instead of pushing them out of the way.

The only thing i would suggest norelco improve on this model is that it needs an led to indicate charge status. You don’t know it needs charging until it dies, and you don’t know it’s done charging until … It’s done? But you can still use it while it’s charging so it’s really not that big of a deal.

Nice grip,i wish it had some sort of battery indicator i don’t trim a while lot so it’s not a deal breaker . We’ll see if it last as long as my old panasonic

Light use – maybe every two weeks – will only turn on for about 2 minutes then quotes – has to be recharged for a day – junk – don’t buy – might be cheep but i’m back online trying to buy another brand today. No way to return it – customer service is inept
