What are our customers saying?
Bought my first pair of these 2019 and they were pretty comfortable even though they are a semi ridgid insole. Back then i had just gotten finished with physical therapy for a shattered calcaneus to my left foot and was having a lot of swelling, arch pain, and nerve issues so was trying to find a shoe and insole combo that worked for me. Fast forward to present and in that time i believed i needed a super cushion type insole and have bought over 50 different pairs of insoles and shoes without much luck. Until recently i discovered that i have fallen arches and a ridgid insole is best for my condition. In the last couple months i have tried sole, 5 different powerstep insoles, shoe wise have tried hoka, altra, new balance, brooks, as well as half a dozen high end work boots and really struggled to find a good combo/size that didn’t have some issue. Last week i got a pair of keen cincinnati wedge boot going thru my collection of insoles only thing that seemed comfortable all day was the walkhero insole i bought in 2019. So i ordered a set of gray ones as one review i read said the different colors are slightly different insoles and i wanted to compare with original blue ones. When they showed up with 5 different powerstep insoles i tried all of them first but kept finding some little issues after a few hours use. Finally i put in the walkhero insoles and did 14 hour day on hard concrete before being able to get out of my boots. While my feet were still a bit sore these allowed me to make it through a work day without having to bring several different types of shoes with me and stress on what would relieve my foot pain. I just ordered a couple more pairs in new blue and old blue to see if there is a difference. They appear to all be the same although the original blue has a black bottom where the new blue is a blue eva. I will be using these from now on in almost all my shoes. As far as durability goes the pair i bout in 2019 has lasted pretty well. The big toe area has compressed alot and the arches have compressed a little bit still supportive and the heel cup is excellent. Only complaint would be a lack of clear product information from company but it’s more a language translation issue that’s seen widely across products coming from china. Sorry to be long winded just give them a try and make sure to start off slowly a couple hours a day until your used to the ridgid feel under your arches.
Walking has always been a big part of my exercise routine so after having 2 surgeries on my foot and having very flat feet i’ve had my struggles with finding the right inserts for years. I could only walk about 2 miles a day before i found these inserts because the pain in my feet wouldn’t allow me to go much further. I tried the popular brands and even had a set of doctor prescribed inserts but i never found the right balance of support, comfort, and relief until i found these inserts. When i fisrt started wearing these i had instant relief. I did go through a period as others have described where they seemed to feel hard under my feet but that would only occur after wearing them for long periods of time. I used them on and off for a few weeks during that time but i slowly returned to wearing them because they were the best of all of my other options. I do belive that there was an adjustment period for the muscles in my feet because once i returned to wearing them full time i was walking better than ever and they would no longer fell hard under my feet after long periods of walking. I’ve been able to work my way up to a 19 mile day during a 100 mile week in these inserts so they pretty much earned this review.
I tried these in desparation after an episode of severe foot pain…plantar fasciitis or most likely bursitis…never found out as my insurance (do not get an advantage plan) never approved a podiatrist. I have had two surgeries on one foot in the past, so not new to foot pain. But this? This was debilitating. Back to the inserts…these provided the best support and relief of any i have ever used at any price, including prescription. For $20? Oh my. Thanks to these i am now walking again, after a doctor had recommended ‘just get a cane.’ not only am i walking but walking with no pain! I cannot recoomended these highly enough, would give 10 stars if i could. I have one pair i have worn every day for a year, and while the logo has worn mostly off they are just as effective as they were a year ago, so i believe the answer that they will last 2 years. I plan to order a new pair each month until i have a good stock, so that i never am without these again. Shown in the pic are my new ones in some new merrells, which accomodate these well. Do purchase these, you will never wear another brand.
I was thrilled with these! These are very supportive, but lost some of their support quickly. However, i’m giving them 5 stars, because they were what i needed to finally get some relief from plantar fascitis. I had been suffering horribly for over a year, to the point where my walking and movement were so limited that i stopped all exercise and gained 80 lbs. It was pretty miserable. My feet aren’t completely pain free yet, but at least i can walk again! And i have started going back to the gym. That is nothing short of a miracle, in my opinion. My podiatrist said custom inserts would cost me close to $500, so these were a last ditch effort, and i am so glad i tried them. Even if i end up having to order them regularly, it is better than spending what the hospital wants. My feet are not flat, they have a perfect structure, so i was surprised that these pushed up against my arches so hard, but apparently, that was exactly what i needed. I thought it would hurt, but it didn’t. I’m so glad i found these!
Review on amazon of
plantar fasciitis feet insoles arch supports orthotics inserts for flat feet, high arch, foot pain mens 8 – 8 1/2 | womens 10 – 10 1/2
‘over 68,000 reviews with 4.5 out of 5 star ratings here on amazon. I’d done lots of research on orthotics after experiencing problems with calf pain, knee pain and plantar fasciitis. I’d been using superfeet green and blue for over 15 years!
But the superfeet seemed to aggravate my knee, calf and plantar fasciitis problem, especially while running. The green more than the blue i’d say. When running it was very noticeable that the superfeet did not offer as much cushion. I figured i could get away with just using the blue, but the blue caused the plantar fasciitis to flare up or at least not get better. I figured there must be a better orthotic.
This is it! You can get all kinds of recommendations from podiatrists, sports medicine doctors, physical therapists, like i have and some of their shoes and orthotics can cost you hundreds if not thousands of dollars over time.
As soon i tried these, there wasn’t even the slightest bit of pain from the plantar fasciitis, the knees, or the calf. I worked out at the gym, ran, jumped, did my workouts and it passed the test. And i workout pretty hard.
Specifically, i noticed that in contrast to the superfeet, these insole/orthotics are firm but not as rigid as the superfeet. They seem to have a thickness in that arch area that doesn’t dig in but gives and even edge of support along the arch. The forefoot area of the orthotic is comfortable because it again seems supportive but not as hard as the superfeet.
If you’ve suffered from knee or plantar fasciitis pain you know what i’m talking about the sheer relief and joy you feel when that pain is relieved.
I’m suspecting that with this kind of support continued with my physical therapy, i’m well on my way to a complete and permanent resolution.
All i can say is, the price is right, the reviews of over 68,000 customers and the endorsement of amazon make this a bet worth taking.
3 day update…
After 3 days of wearing these all day for walking, exercising, casual wear, i can say that it has reduced my plantar fasciitis pain to zero. Even in the morning i don’t feel anything. I pressed on the plantar fasciitis and yes it was a bit tender, but not as much before. I can only conclude that these orthotics take the stress off the plantar fasciitis and are giving it time to heal.
1 week update
i continue to have pain relief from plantar fasciitis while bicycling, running, working out. One thing i should mention is that sometimes i don’t lace up my shoes tight enough and my foot is sliding around in the shoe on the orthotic. I have to remember to make sure my laces are tight enough and my foot is nice and snug in the shoe against the orthotic for it to be most effective.
Another thing is that i’ve discovered jeff cavaliere who was physical therapist to the new york jets championship baseball team for 3 years. Search youtube: ‘jeff cavaliere plantar fasciitis’, you’ll see the best explanation of the mechanics of what causes this condition and the stretches he teaches to solve this condition. It’s an eye opener! All those so-called remedies, like rolling the bottom of your foot on a tennis ball are just to help with the symptom of pain, they don’t really address the source and cause of the issue. Watch the video, do the stretch he teaches and see if that doesn’t improve your condition and perhaps solve it for good!
First review here… I’ve had foot pain all my life but in the past 3 years have been there worst. I even went through a year of wearing a walking boot on each foot for 6 months on each side, not both at once (i had a heel bruise and plater fasciitis on the left then a few months later plantar fasciitis/ tendinitis and possible fracture on the right). I had other insoles before and a new pair of shoes. After about 2 months my feet were killing me by the end of the day, and i’m a nurse so i’m on my feet all day. I bought these and after about 3 days i noticed my feet didnt hurt as much when i got home. Now i’ve had these for a month and my foot pain is pretty gone, my knees and neck feel better too. Definitely a must have for nurses or anyone on thier feet a lot, i’m ready for my next pair!!
heel pain gone
back pain better
knee pain better
I own several pairs of these as they go in all my shoes. Awhile ago, i came down with plantar fasciitis and i wanted something to relieve the pain. My doctor prescribed a pair of custom orthotics that were gonna cost me a couple hundred even after insurance, so i went online and did some looking around. For the price, i thought i’d take a chance on these. Simply put, they worked great! My foot pain went away and hasn’t come back. Like i said, i have a pair of these in every shoe and my feet haven’t felt better.
I typically don’t waste my time writing reviews, however these feel like walking on clouds. I’m a heavier guy with high arches, and i went in a hiking trip last week with these, and it felt like walking on clouds the entire time. The other person i was with is an avid hiker and he was super surprised i was in no pain or tired after the entire hike. These really do feel amazing. I almost threw out my expensive walking shoes because i thought it had reached its lifetime wear, turned out i just needed to replace the shoe soles!
I had an incident in july where i wore my shoes to watch a round of golf and by the end of the round i could hardly walk from the heel pain. Fast forward several months – heel pain is now a daily occurrence with very little relief. Even with use of modalities such as ultrasound (i am a physical therapist and have access to all of the good equipment) i still had significant pain. I purchased these insoles to prepare to walk the golf course again and was amazed at how much they have helped. The relief was immediate. I also added gel heel inserts and was able to make it through walking one of the toughest courses in the u.s. 2 days in a row. You will not be disappointed in these, such an improvement from the ridiculous paper thin insole in my very expensive running shoes.
I use custom orthotics most of the time. I was getting new customs made and was going to be without supporting insoles for a few weeks while my custom ones were being made. My podiatrist recommended i get this brand to use until my customs were ready. Thy did not disappoint! They were affordable and provided so much more support and comfort than other over-the-counter insoles i have used in the past. I have already recommended this brand to a friend.
For background, i am not new to shoe insoles. I have bad knees and have tried superfeet in the past, then switched over to powerstep per my doctor’s recommendation. As i placed an order for my powerstep replacement, i saw these and figured they were worth a try for practically half the price. These run a tad bit small. I ordered the size 6-6.5, but i wear a size 6 shoe. These insoles left a tiny gap by my toes and it would rub the bottom of my toes in my sneakers. Other then that, they were comfortable and provided similar support to my powersteps. I ended up putting my powersteps back in my sneakers and these insoles in my steel toes, which are more rigid and prevent my foot from moving as much. Because of the length issue, i can’t say i’d buy these again but they were worth the try. I still like my powersteps best.
I was worried that the arch would be too high but it was perfect for me. Great support in the arch.
I would have given it a 5 star if the heal area was made of a softer material to further help plantar fasciitis. But i would still definitely recommend this product.
These prefabricated orthotics compare well to powerstep pinnacle, which i’ve been wearing in all my shoes. I saw the lower price and ordered. The arch height is a little bit less in these compared to powerstep, but the overall construction and comfort ended up being very similar, for a little over half the price. I will recommend these to my family and patients as a cost effective alternative.
While i would have liked more support, they are still very helpful. They don’t slide around or come out when i take my boot off. It took about a day to have them fully seat right, but i’m also real sensitive about my footwear.
Would i buy them again when these wear out? Maybe. I’m not upset at all with my purchase, but i feel like there might be something better for my tender toesies.
It stopped the pf pain in my right foot within 2 days only to make it appear in my left foot. Not sure why my left was pain free before i started wearing these.
I’ve had to take them out due to increased pain in both feet now
The insoles provide good support especially across the entire sole of the foot. Unfortunately they run at least a half size smaller than powersteps. I will be ordering a larger size and then cut the toe to fit.
Bought these to replace asic inserts. They’re not bad for this low cost. They have an arch and are fairly firm to support your metatarsals.
Obviously using these for one day is not telling much. I had to cut them down a little. The felt very odd in my athletic shoes. I felt like there was a bar under my foot off the bat and i was skeptical that this would go well. I walked a bout a mile, slowly. Not nearly as bad as i expected. Took them off. Later in the afternoon i wore them doing errands. No problem. Took them off. Put the shoes/inserts on to water my flowers. I didn’t even notice them. That’s a pretty good start. Four stars across the board, for now.
I liked the fact that these supports were an exact fit for my 8.5 narrow flat ladies feet. They are excellent especially at their reasonable price.
A pleased customer.
These have given me some relief but have noticed that my calves cramp with them at times (not sure what that means). I have a very high arch so it does me me decent support. They’re good for the price.
