Looking for specific info?

Would the play doh dry out if i use this as a countdown for a birthday may 2022?

It shouldn’t,there individually sealed containers

Where are the directions for what to do with the playdoh each day?

I have not seen any instructions. So far we are on day 3 and it has been a play-doh container along with some kind of mold or something to help the child make the object.

What year is this for? 2022?

I bought this last year (2021) but my kids loved it so much i bought it again for this year. It’s the same one.

Is there a photo of the order of the surprises in the box? We didn’t open it properly and all the surprises spilled out. I need to re-organizethanks.

Hello, i agree instructions would be great!!
Here are my tips!
Keep a ziplock nearby to keep all the leftover dough, tools and molds together.
Apparently doors 1-12 are for the snowman scene, and doors 13-24 are for the gingerbread half of the scene.

1. ️white big pot of sparkly play doh. With a purple rolling pin. Make a snowman head, tummy & body – using 3 blue circle molds (save 1/3 of the white doh for later !!) ️
2. 🟤 brown – not sure! No mold! So we made a mini gingerbread man. (ball for head, small sausage for arms, small sausage for legs – smooth together). And added the 2 plastic arms onto snowman ️ and used a bit of extra white sparkly doh from yesterday to fix them on.
3. ️ black – made snowman hat using the mold
4. Red – make a small white and a small red sausage. Twist them together and put them in the candy cane mold. Also: make a short little sausage of red for ribbon to add on to the snowman hat.
5. 🟠 make snowman’s scarf using the orange mold. Save a bit of the orange for later
6. ️ for another snowman face – this is the purple round smiley face mold. Use some orange from yesterday to make a carrot nose for both snowmen. Can’t see where this is supposed to go on the snowman scene, but added it anyway!

That’s as far as we have got – a few days behind!

Why does it not work

Ours worked great

So, i opened it wrong and all the pieces fell out. Does anyone know which doors hold which pieces and color?

I’m not sure which one holds which color or if they’re even the same with every box.

Could two kids share one of these calendars? I’m not sure if it would be better to have two or if they would each need their own calendar to enjoy it

They technically could but i would get them each one
it very well done and fun activities
great quality too

What’s supposed to come with the brown play doh on day 2? Ours was missing a tool for that day and i wonder if it’s elsewhere in the box?

Day 2 we got a light brown play doh. No tool.

What are the size of the doors? Need them to fit in my wood advent calendar.

They are pretty big
probably bigger than your wood advent calendar

Why was my calendar opened and taped shut?

I’m assuming it was probably a return at some point

Best deal on toy they love

Each day had it’s own little container of dough and an accessory of some sort. The kids couldn’t wait to open the next day.

Four year old loved it!

Purchased for my daughter and although she wasn’t too keen on the only open one box per day part of an advent calendar (honestly, who is though? ) she did adore everything received every day! She had a lot of fun building the various items (snowman, reindeer, christmas tree, etc.) everyday.

As for me, from the parents standpoint, i loved the fact that each box contained both a small container of play-doh and a mold each day that both corresponded to each other (i.e. The color of the play-doh was appropriately matched to what was to be made from the molds). Also, i appreciated how well thought out the order of the days were put together and that they were in an order meant for completion. For instance, the first day’s box had white play-doh with the large mold of the bottom half of the snowman and the second day’s box had orange play-doh with the face of the snowman and carrot nose. The third day’s box had black play-doh and the scarf mold for the snowman and so on it went from subject to subject, without jumping around, and each “project” was made in completion before moving onto the next.

All in all it’s a great lil advent calendar for your little ones and will be definitely purchasing next years version without a doubt!

Lots of colors and useful things for play

So far my daughter has enjoyed opening each door. It comes with shaped objects to make snowmen and reindeer. There’s other goodies in there also. When you go to open the box to get to the numbered doors it will look like you need to tear down the middle. You do not. Just cut the tape and fold down. After that you will have a scene laid out.
A problem i did have was that the box had a hole like something was dropped on it or stuck through it. Luckily it didn’t do any damage inside. I really didn’t want to return it since this was something she was really excited for.

One of the best advent calendars

I purchased this advent calendar for my three year old… And i was pleasantly surprised of how many things came in it. Each day there was a small play-doh and a shape cutter. It came with a lot of stuff for the price! I have been purchasing advent calendars for many years for my kids… And this one had the most in it of anyone i’ve ever purchased. If your child loves play-doh i would highly recommend it

Great deal

I had this advent calendar for my 4 year old and he was obsessed. Everyday the first thing he asked for in the morning was to open his play-doh. But don’t make the same mistake i did, when opening you peel the front of the cardboard off the reveal the days. Do not open the side of the box there was pieces everywhere but i guess i just didn’t look close enough at the box when i started it

Love!!!

I got this on sale (about $13) and it was worth every penny! My daughter is only 2, but every morning she woke up asking to check it for her playdoh. The only “complaint” i have, is that sometimes the pieces would shift around to other days, so i’d just be aware of that! That’s just a design flaw in the packaging of the product. Eventually we got all the pieces!

24 days of

24 play doh small tubs and 24 pieces to play with. Kids loved it

Rather buy a set with normal sized tubs

Last year i bought a box of 24 or even more normal sized play-doh tubs and then a set of mixed tools and split those up into 24 presents as an advent calendar, this year i wanted to try something else. My daughter is not complaining, but i felt i got a better value last year- much more play-doh then!!

Great idea

Great idea. I didn’t want to use the candy advent calendars so i thought this was a good alternative. I took one star off because our box doesn’t contain any instructions on what to do with each day. We will figure it out but instructions would be helpful.

Kids loved it. We will save the cutters for next year.
