Is this gluten-free?
It’s not a dumb question. My mother has celiac disease and has gotten sick from residue left behind on a table after my son played with play-doh. We have a strict cleaning routine after playing with this now. Don’t have it around people who need to be gluten free, and please don’t let your kids play with it at restaurants. Sensitive people don’t have to eat it to be affected.

Yes it is fun to use this product definitely for kids.
Is it microwave safe?
I do not recommend putting it in the microwave. It could get hot and cause burns. The play doh itself would probably not be harmed by the microwave, but it is a terrible idea to put it in the microwave.
Are these smaller then the original packs you see in the stores, or they only 2oz too?
Not sure what you mean by ‘original’ packs. These are small packs, a little better than samples, for smaller projects. The normal package is a 4oz pack — which for 10 colors is a lot of play-doh.

The case is 10 cans of 2 oz cans. All of them are different colors, including black.

Make sure that items are from amazon approved sellers and not international sellers. Some are japanese, chinese and other places. Also reputable and enough sustainable reviews.
Does it smell like the 1960s play doh?
I grew up in the 80s and it smells the same now as it did then.

Sure. Play-doh has always been non toxic, however it does contain wheat! That does not mean it is ok to eat. It is to play with.

it’s bright colors. Quality play dough. But honestly over priced for the size. These are very little containers, not much bigger then a shot glass. I was disappointed in the size.
