I misplaced my dell laptop power cord and needed one quickly so went to amazon and found this company and got the cord on the day i placed the order-it works fine and has ul certified.

I love the extra length on the cord, it helps when i need to charge my computer and the outlet is farther away. It works like a charm!

I really like dell laptop computers. I have had quite a few in the last 25 years. The only problem is that they do not make the ac chargers the way they used to. Some last 3 months, some last 6 months, a very few make it a year. Even some of the dell brand chargers i have bought from amazon must have been knock-offs because they have been the worst of the bunch.

While i have not had this power source model long enough to vouch for it’s durability, i have had enough ac chargers to tell that this is one of the best ones out of the box.

I particularly like the cord length. The dc cable is more than long enough for the transformer to sit on the floor to my right and reach across my body to plug into the left side of the laptop with plenty of slack.

The other big thing i like is that the plug fits just right into the laptop. The plug on my last ‘dell’ charger had a loose fit and was always slipping out.

Cord separates from universal adapter frequently resulting in power loss.

So far its charging my laptop perfectly !! Just hope it lasts . After reading some of the comments , i have my own personal concerns . But i’m very happy at the moment 🙂 !!

Works well with dell inspiron 15 5559. The laptop stopped complaining about the incompatible power charger.

Works fine. If you have to use the dongle, or the adapter for the larger barrel connector, just know that you should probably wrap a piece of tape around the connectors so that they don’t pop apart. They will separate very easily. Otherwise, this is a good product.

The little wire does not plug into any of the others. Not certain what its function is.

This item is about 55% higher priced than similar adapters in the marketplace. I leaned toward this one for a couple of reasons. I didn’t need the extra pigtail adapter but the 14 ft long cord was appealing. The cord on my original dell adapter was 4 ft shorter short and its power connector suffered from the strain, so this longer one works out well. The # of high ratings on this product is extremely high, another positive. The other reason i leaned toward this was because the company selling this product asserts itself to be a us company and leans slightly toward letting you believe that is where this is made.. A little dodgy there in my opinion. For all the negative comparisons made by this company to items made in china, that is exactly where this item is made!!! Only the customer support is of us “origin”. I’m tempted by the 2 year no questions asked return policy, but am happy with the longer cord plus the high ratings and will keep it anyway.

Fit my dell as good as the original

Cord almost to durable – doesn’t straighten out. Coupler to laptop is not snug. However, it charges my battery.

This power source was exactly what i needed. The only suggestion i might make is to devise a more secure way for the 7.4 mm adapter to connect to the power supply. The adapter is a great idea to accommodate two plug sizes in one device, it’s just that the adapter slips off too easily with a modest amount of tension.

i always try to correctly match power supply specs from non-oem manufacturers, and this one is imperfect for both. But, it seems to be working fine. The power supply doesn’t get hot, but it does get warm, as all power supplies do. The case is much larger and the electrical cables are much longer than both of my other power supplies, which can be both good (for use) and bad (for packing). The item is manufactured by a company called ‘power source’ in china. The model number is ps-d5. The power supply also ships with an adapter for use with other laptops.
