Purina ONE Natural Dry Cat Food, Tender Selects Blend With Real Salmon – 7 lb. Bag

I started using this food when i got my cat about eight years ago. She had been left abandoned by a previous neighbor when he moved. I don’t know what she previously had been fed, but she liked this brand and flavor right from the start. I’ve never tried another brand. If it works why complicate things. I do mix it up sometimes between the chicken and salmon. She likes either one. She refuses to eat canned wet food and prefers this dry kibble. The only complaint i have is that when i started using it the pieces were all a consistent size and shape. Now it’s small and large pieces like it’s been crushed up. I don’t know why they did that, but my cat hasn’t complained. I’ve been afraid she’ll get a small piece stuck in the back of her throat, but thank goodness that hasn’t happened. She’s happy so it isn’t an issue. I would recommend this food over all that overpriced stuff touted to be all natural and healthy and yada, yada, yada.

I have one cat. He is pretty picky. He is in love with this food. I ran out and had to use another bag of food till this came in. After i received it i wanted to finish the other bag first and not waste it. I should mention too that the picky cat is as hard headed as anything. He refused to eat anything else when he saw this bag sitting in the laundry room. I am a bit hard headed as well and i left the other food out thinking he would eat if she got hungry enough. I went to the laundry room to clean the litter pan and when i pushed the door open this bag of food was laying on its side with a huge hole chewed into it and right on queue the picky cat walks past me to the pile of food and starts eating on it as if he were eating at his bowl. After a couple of bites he looked at me, turned, and waltzed out of the room. I got the distinctive feeling that he’s was telling me on no uncertain terms that he will win a battle of who has the hardest head. This is a great diet tho. He has a beautiful hair coat, great stools and is satisfied with the amount i feed him. He maintains his weight well and his teeth look great. This diet checks all the boxes for us.

One of my cats just is crazy about this cat food. I always buy this in wet so this is the first time i bought the dry. I give them the canned for dinner mostly. Her eyes light up when i started giving her this one. But she gains weight easy so now i have to find one of purina’s that will help her lose some weight. But i still will give her a teaspoon of this with the other because, yes she’s spoiled and can not go without this yummy food, she looks up from her dish in disgust if its not in there…lol

This is a good mid range priced cat food. It has helathy ingredients and my cat will eat it. I tried 3-4 different hard cat food brands and she likes this one the best. This works for me because i am saving money wihtout sacrfiicing on quality.

This food was recommended by the humane society when we brought our cats home three months ago. The cats are young- two years old. They look forward to feeding time and have not had any digestion issues. Recommend this food

I was buying a much more expensive brand of food for my cats and dog. At a visit a couple of years ago we talked about food. I told her what they were eating. She said i don’t pay that for my pets.. I ask her recommended and her answer was ‘i use purina 1’. That’s all i needed to hear. Was cheaper by a third and doc says why pay more?

I used to buy meow mix but for some reason i ordered purina one and i have to say i am now a regular customer. You gotta give them what they like and i like the ingredients.

Every time i put this food in the bowl for my cats they can’t wait to clean the bowl. They love the salmon and chicken recipes.

My cat likes this food! He just turned 1 year old so i switched from purina one kitten to this chicken flavor adult food 🙂 he likes it just as much

My cats, 4 counting the neighbor cat and brother, seem to really love this food. The ingredients overall are pretty good and the food itself has nice small varying shaped bits/morsels and the first ingredient is chicken. I like that this food does not have artificial coloring and flavoring. I will say however what i do not like is that the second ingredient is rice flour and the third meat by products

over all it is a good nutrient packed food for the price.

I like having a subscription to my kitty’s food. It’s all brought to my doorstep every month.

I feed multiple cats both inside and outside. Since they are inbred this is the only dry food i have found that their digestive system will tolerate

It smelled really bad the second time i got it maybe it was in the hot van for to long but it smelled overwhelming like bad chicken, but overall good cats enjoy it and nothing is wrong still would get it but if you have bad nose for smells then yea

My picky picky very actually eats this kind of dry food….. Except the light colored pierces, which is why i give it 4 of 5. She rejected many other dry foods though so this one is a winner, and she is happy and very healthy!

Cat was happy – seems to like the taste but about 1/4 of the bad was super crushed bits – like the bag was run over or something.

It took my cats about four days to get used to this product. Lots of “dust” in it which made them sick. Make sure they have extra water around to drink. They did like the taste and ate it up quickly once used to it. It looks more like dog food with the bigger pieces

Frankly, we were surprised to find the kitties changed brands without a problem. They loved this cat food and we have had them on a certain brand since old enough to eat. The only dissatisfaction is the price… Looking for coupons or other ways to reduce. I want to stay with this brand, only it keeps going up in price!
