This is a really useful magnetic light – the magnet is a ring around the light – so when you’re trying to pick something up – you can see it! I love the light. It is telescoping – so you lengthens as you need. A terrific gift – or tool for the tool drawer! Having said all of this, i never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. It’s a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. Bottom line, i pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

I found this as advertised. The light is adequate and the magnet does collect small metal objects without much trouble. I have trouble bending so this is just the item i need although some may find it doesn’t extend far enough. You do have to bend down a little, but it will pick up most anything metal once you get it placed down.

I would buy again if i needed another one.

Those were the words a coworker said to me upon seeing this work. I agreed. Very bright. But can you really have too many lights? The magnet at the top works well, didn’t seem too strong, but keys can be heavy. Good extension and bendy head to get in tight crevices, like under the hood of a car, or…under the hood of a truck. I’m sure there are other uses, but since i’m not a mechanic, i’ll leave those uses up to the beholder. Satisfied thus far for the james bond gadget.

For being a cheap flashlight/ magnet it has exceeded my expectations. I love this flashlight and use it more than i thought i would. The light is not very bright, but the magnet is plenty strong. It has a magnet on both sides, the one on the back being stronger. The telescoping feature that has a flexible bit at the end is really useful, and working in a shop this magnet comes in handy.

Other products have the same features, but this flashlight is unique because it brings everything together in one: magnetic on both ends, telescopic, slim design. It’s perfect for working on vehicles, especially if you need to reach a bolt or something that dropped down into the engines.

Give it as a gift to my husband for christmas, he was thrilled. He said his big fat fingers couldn’t always pick up. Dropped screws, and other small nails. Now when they’re in a tiny place, he can even see them and get them immediately he loved it.

I gave these to all the guys in our family and the women immediately grabbed them away! These are so handy to have in your ‘quick grab’ tool box!

I bought two of these as gifts and both men love them! They had ones without the lights already but the lights make all the difference! Also very sturdy!

I brought this as a christmas present for my dad. He loved it! He called me the day after christmas just to tell me how bright the light was, and that he likes the swivel head.

It’s fairly lightweight (like a small flashlight) and has a magnetic flashlight and base, which i wasn’t expecting. It comes with 4 extra batteries, which was also unexpected. The flashlight extends and bends at the bottom. Overall, would recommend this product.

I bought one of these and one of the look a likes because it was significantly cheaper figuring it was the exact same thing minus packaging. It’s not! This one is brighter and has significantly stronger magnets on both ends.

That being said, it’s still not great. The button batteries are the limiting factor i think. Just not that bright and very easy to knock the magnet off if the surface you have it on isn’t very flat.
Not a bad little stocking stuffer tool though. Definitely get this one over the cheaper versions

Bought this handy tool as a stocking stuffer. Perfect to retrieve metal objects that have fallen in cracks.

Love the light but the magnets could definitely be stronger. When telescoping wand is fully extended, it easily falls off of whatever the magnet is stuck on.

This is a good flashlight, but its’ only downside is that its backside magnet is not strong enough.
