La compré porque con una rebaja era la más barata que encontré. Pero ya llevo una semana y va todo muy bien. De momento no me ha hecho falta recargarla ni nada, no tuve que liarme con cableados de nada y fue de lo más fácil de instalar. La zona de reconocimiento es fácilmente ajustable, así que no ‘suena’ cuando simplemente pasan los vecinos paseando a los perros.

We attached them to our ring alarm system and we love them. The camera is super sharp and way better than our old adt cam. And it works all the time. The only downside is the batter which when set to record everything can go in 6-8 weeks.

I updated my door bell camera from the ring video doorbell pro 2 model to this one. What a huge difference. This one have the night color vision.

As the song goes, “i can see clearly now the rain (darkness) is gone”

I bought this and a light bulb camera for my home, the ring is great! I feel much more safe at night and while i am gone with this camera at my home, i can access the live feed from my computer at work which is perfect!

The picture quality is great and it picks up motion very well. My only problem is that the sound is distorted. No one can understand me when i speak to them. I don’t know what happened. I didn’t drop it, it didn’t get wet. One day it was working fine and the next day it was distorted. And of course this happens after the return period

update: contacted customer service, did a little troubleshooting with no resolution. They ended up shipping me a replacement. The customer service was excellent btw!

I love this! I feel so much better that i can see the coming and goings at my house. The battery life holds for a couple months, at a time, which is great! I love all the different settings that you can chose, whether it’s detection, or someone at the door.

The product i’d good except it will not ring your existing doorbell.you have to buy a chime for that. Says connects to existing wiring which it does but for some reason was made to not ring your own bell.i sent back for video doorbell pro 2 which will ring existing bell.details need to be changed to say will not ring existing doorbell!

I bought this for my father about a year ago and we really liked it. My father was elderly at the time and we had a bunch of packages being delivered and it made it easier for him to tell who was at the door. My only complaint which is more on our side is the very very poor connection to wi-fi. Our house wi-fi is garbage so that’s not an attack on the product but be aware that if your wi-fi is not that great this camera can be quite annoying to interact with. It will lag and the talking functions are almost unusable. But for video recording that is saved it is very great quality and really allows you to see whats going on it’s mainly the live content that is sub par.
*****on a side note: my father passed away a few months ago and i was scrambling to find any pictures and videos i could to hear his voice. I remembered we got the ring camera and i went into the history and found countless adorable videos of him interacting with our 4 dogs and sounding happy. For that alone this product is worth the money. My dad paid me a dollar for it to be the first payment i ever received for my electrician career and signed it. I’m thankful for that because he passed away soon after.

I had been wanting to get something for a doorbell that would give me indication of who was coming to the door for sometime now. I bought this along with the chime option so it would give me an indication that someone was approaching the front door and the doorbell would give me the picture the video of who is there. I like that the chime has several options for doorbell rings and i chose the dogs so that it would give whoever is coming to the door notice that there are dogs in the house even though there really aren’t. Sometimes going live takes a few moments which is no big deal because we don’t get that much traffic coming to our front door. Look for the price and the chime option which i encourage whoever buys this doorbell to get the chime because it really puts it all together as a complete entourage for your front door. My old front door chime only ding one time and most deliveries would be brought to my door without them even hitting the doorbell. So advance notice plus video is a huge improvement over what i had and i feel much safer with this combination.

I did not expect the level of ease and quality of result that i am now getting from this ring doorbell. I never thought i needed it until i was having packages stolen and now i don’t think i can live without one. So much peace of mind, i am very very happy with my purchase

It took a little time to install, and the location of the old doorbell wasn’t a very good spot for this larger doorbell. I made it work ok, but the doorbell isn’t as secure on our outside vinyl siding as i would have liked it. It was difficult to secure safety screws. Maybe include a clear plastic security case to cover the doorbell so it’s not stolen and keeps out of the weather. You could use the special screws to secure the cover. Doorbell has worked very well and it’s really nice to know when deliveries are at the door since delivery people seldom ring the doorbell. Motion sensors are really nice just wish the camera showed our porch better so we could see the packages. Highly recommend this product.

Works exactly as described ok app night vision is ok. They could use an update on camera and lenses for day & night vision for more than 30ft or farther. Inside that range pictures and videos are clearer and you can tell what people actually look like. Maybe the newer version have better software and camera and video abilities. All in all it works and stays connected and does what it’s supposed too inside 30-35’feet.

I’m not sure how to review this product. I got it and had issues with it not picking up people standing directly in front of it. I’d test it and it wouldn’t pick me up until i walked away and was turning a corner. Called tech support 4 times trying to get it figured out, and finally we got it going. (support people were very nice.)

it’s mostly 100% now. I think one problem was that i had set up a package zone to tell me when packages arrive. Don’t waste your time. It’s worked one time. Once i turned it off, it did a much better job of detecting people.

It still misses the mail carrier here and there. The carrier has to walk directly towards the camera and then stand in front of it, about a foot away, to put mail in the box. Should be easy to detect.

Night vision is amazing. Connects to my wifi and my alexa with ease.

Would i buy it again? No. Not this model. But i would still buy from ring.

The motion detection is not like the additional ring cameras we have installed throughout our property. It doesn’t detect someone until they are almost to the door. The view is not the greatest, could be where it’s positioned on our front stoop, it faces the street, attached to the security screen door.
It’s a huge relief in being aware of who is at your door without going to the door.

Installation was easier then anticipated. Good support from ring to delete old and install new. Would be great if ring software allowed for deletion of accumulated neighborhood notices. This multitude of old transferred to the new install. Asked customer support about this, can’t do it without turning off all notifications. These old notifications just junk up my phone. My only annoyance with the product.

There is a little delay with motion detection. I was getting mail and packages and when i open the alert nothing shows because the deliverer/mailman is already gone! No issues with wi-fi and installation was easy. I was worried i would struggle doing it on my own. Ohh and it needs to be charged like maybe every 6 weeks or so

Update: although our original router was compatible with the ring, we got a new one (xfinity/comcast xb7) and ring has only disconnected from it once since.

Original review: this is my first video doorbell and while i’ve enjoyed it, in retrospect i might have gone with one of the more expensive ring models.

Even with a strong wifi signal, the first one would often refuse to reconnect after losing the signal (due to comcast signal dropping often), necessitating several calls to the always helpful and friendly ring support, a factory reset, and my getting really good at quickly unscrewing the doorbell from the front of our house (in order to access the reset button on the back).

Ring finally sent me new one, which has had the same problems to a lesser extent.

Battery life is good and it recharges in a reasonable amount of time.

The video is sometimes sharp, but sometimes blurry/pixelated, especially at the beginning of videos.

I guess i should have paid better attention before ordering, because this model will only connect to a 2.4ghz wifi connection — not to a 5ghz signal. I would have loved to have connected it to my 5ghz. Oh well.

I do like that it’s made me feel more secure and tuned into my home and surroundings, what with odd, intrusive neighbors, neighborhood car prowls, and randos sometimes wandering through our yard. I love being able to open the app and be able to see what’s going on outside, live, even when there’s no movement detected, as well.

I have had a ring for years. One is still going and one had to be replaced. Hopefully the new one will last longer than the last one. I am annoyed by the change in design. I had to replace the mounting screws in concrete which was a pain in the neck and i have to remove the entire device from the mount to charge it. Bummer.

I love it. Only thing i will say is that my wifi wouldn’t connect at first. I have spectrum, and i was using they’re dual wifi modem. But it couldn’t connect. I tried all types of way to force it to connect to the 2.5ghz network but it couldn’t. So i eventually had to go out and by my own modem that had 2.5ghz and 5ghz on separate networks using they’re own wifi name and password. Then i was able to connect it. And it works perfectly fine.

Picks up everything. Still learning the basics and so many features i wasn’t expecting. You can even buy extra stuff on the app. Set-up was a pain but once we got it started, it was easy.
