Rust-Oleum 249127 Painter’s Touch 2X Ultra Cover, 12 Oz, Flat Black

I covered an old plastic piece that was part of a old refrigerator. The paint stuck and made it look much nicer. Now if i can just get the paint off my garage floor… Seems to stick very well to garage floors, too.

This spray paint was amazing for any use, dried very well. Overall a perfect can of spray paint.

Well worth the cost. Covers incredibly well. Perhaps not quite as durable as i might have liked, but far from a problem considering the cost and coverage per can.

Applies easily without running. Covers most objects in one coat.

Sprays well. Covers nicely.

It’s a heavy can and good value for the price. Can cover pretty big area. The only issue is the nozzle gets blocked at the beginning. I read others got same issue. For me, i bump it against the concrete floor, and it loosen up the nozzle. Once it got going, i never had block again. I used up the can in one day to avoid paint dried up in nozzle. Another can i bought at the same time had no problem at all.

I sprayed two large outdoor planters with this. It covers well.

Cost more than i’d like but definitely getting what you pay for

The flat black is pretty good–you can handle it without making the surface shiny again, which is not true of all flat paints. It sprayed out evenly and thinly, but covered text printed on a smooth plastic surface in 3 coats. I did not prime the plastic first, which was initially dodgy, because the first coats didn’t seem to adhere well, and took a very long time to dry. (for reference, conditions were: mid-70’s, enclosed garage with no significant humidity. Plastic was repurposed food container, less than 1mm thick; clean.) i wasn’t able to handle it for almost 48 hours, but it finally set into a more durable finish.

It’s a true black, and doesn’t appear grey at all. You can see the plastic pot below, which was then top-coated with rust-oleum metallic gold.

I used this for a paint job on plastic. It took a bunch of layers but it looks very good in the end.

Works fairly well, hadbsk dripping but that may just be my skill level, did not last quite as long as i thought it would
