My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly….so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of emts. We then went to the hospital where i stayed overnight with my wife and new baby girl. The next day, once things had clamed down, i went home to clean up before they came home. For those who have witnessed or gone through child birth, you know what a mess i arrived to. For those who haven’t, suffice to say there are many different types of fluids and a lot of them. Let’s just say i was fully expecting to be purchasing a new mattress. To my amazement, once i’d bagged our sheets and this mattress pad, our mattress was perfectly fine. I bought another one immediately and will continue to use this brand as long as it exists. I challenge anyone to put it through a more rigorous test and i’m positive it can stand up to some sweat or your child’s pee in the middle of the night. I could have posted a pic but it’s better for everyone if i don’t.

I’ve come back in the middle of the night to write this review and attest to its value after finally getting to see this product in action. My 70 pound golden retriever puppy just started an antibiotic today that induces frequent heavy pottying, and by nighttime he really wasn’t feeling well and wanted to cuddle and sleep on the bed, and i’m a sucker so of course i let him. Pretty sure you know where this is going. I guess he lost control while he was completely asleep and i woke up to a completely soaked bed, 2 ruined pillows, but my mattress stayed completely dry, which was surprising considering how much pee was on the bed and pillows. I was able to just switch out the sheets (and toss my completely soaked down goose feather pillows in the trash *sigh*) and get back in bed right after. Going to wash the sheet and cover in the morning and pop it back on the bed. So if you’re wondering if this product works, it withstood my golden’s gallon of pee and kept my mattress clean and dry.

This is a great product. We have used the queen size version for many years, and it has protected our mattress from the occasional diaper leak when our son would nap in our bed.

Here’s the problem. If you order two king sized products, you might get two queen sized items.

If you return those both, they might send you a king and a queen as replacements.

Then when you seek to return the third accidental queen, you’ll only get a refund instead of the product you wanted.

The graphic design makes distinguishing which version you get is too subtle. They could:

change a color on the packaging substantially to denote a different color. Soft blue to soft purple does not cut it.

Or

spell king in large letters on the package

then, you might get the right product the first time.

My mother suffers from incontinence, this product protected the mattress beautifully however due to her kidney issues the top did stain easily. I even accidentally bleached it once before reading the care instructions like a doof and it still held up just fine. I recommend drying it on the lowest heat setting on your dryer if you cannot air dry it. I recommend getting two to make sure you have one available to put on immediately after you remove the dirty one if you’re dealing with the same circumstances. If you’re worried about sanitizing it i personally using pine sol it has laundry instructions on the bottle and it helps get the urine smell out along with your preferred urine destroyer solution. I overall highly recommend this product!

Eureka! I finally found a leak proof protective mattress cover!! My recent rescue, an english bulldog, suffers from urinary incontinence. I have tried and failed so many times. I would even layer multiple (up to three) toppers on my mattress, and none would do the job. Embarrassing, i recently went to change my sheets and noticed an previous stain.. Must to my surprise it never leaked through to the covers below it! This protector is life changing! I will be stocking up for the years to come.

The only drawback (which i can most certainty deal with) is that i can only put this topper in the wash. I cannot put any other laundry in. I also need to resituate it and/or add an extra rinse cycle.

So we’ve had this mattress protector for almost 2 years now with a potty training 1-2 year old. It has been great. I like that it’s soft so you don’t feel like you’re sleeping on plastic and it has deep corners so it doesn’t come off. We have washed it probably on average like twice a week since we bought it so it’s had a lot of wash and dries. Last night it finally happened, my sons pee leaked through some but still the mattress didn’t get soaked, it was just damp in a small area which is still better than it would have been without it, as he had peed a lot. I still gave five stars because i feel like this is normal with the amount of wear and tear we’ve put it through. I paid $35 for it and we definitely got our monies worth.

I bought a super cheap one before this one and was definitely not impressed. It ripped within the same day! This one has not ripped at all & it’s been a couple of months now! I don’t feel like it will rip any time soon at all! It’s very durable, nice quality material! It is water proof too and i love that. Easy to wipe off spills! Paid a few bucks more to get this one and it is definitely worth the money!!!

We have been using this mattress for a while now, and will never sleep without one again. The material is comfortable to sleep on and works great at protecting our mattress. I just throw it in the wash every time i wash the sheets and i feel much better about how clean our mattress is. I really feel like we were able to extend the life of our mattress by protecting it with this cover. With a baby at home, we have had a couple spills on the bed and not even a drop leaked through to the mattress.

I love these, they work great for a potty training toddler. They do not make a crinkly sound, but i have had no issues with any leaks beyond this layer! They are machine washable and dry able, and i have not noticed any lessening of the protection with wear. I sometimes have to dry it a couple times because it may not dry the first time, but that is kinda expected with waterproof fabrics.

I bought this back in march and it is now october, and i have had nothing to report as it was never tested. Well my son got sick on it, cleaned himself up and then finally told me. So it had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. Low and behold, not a single drop went through. Saved my mattress today! Purchasing backups now!

We haven’t had an accident yet but it isn’t noisy. I purchased one full zippered cover and one fitted sheet to layer in case there was an accident we could take one layer off and still get a good night of sleep.

This is a nice cover for a mattress. I do like that it has no order and chemical free. Easy to wash & dry. It is water resistant. I would purchase again.

This product works for what i need. To protect my matress. I am not sure how good it is for the liquids…the sides are just the fabric but in the middle it has a sort of plastic that face matress and fabric side up.

I didn’t have high hopes this wouldn’t cause heat so wasn’t surprised to start waking up burning. It does do a fantastic job keeping the mattress dry. We even tried putting a memory foam over it and you can still feel the heat at night radiating off it (but that did reduce the sweating so worth a try).

After having this protector for over a year, i can finally leave an experienced review with it.

tl;dr review: protects against blood and wipes off very easy. Traps heat and causes you to sweat if used without bedsheet.

Full review:
sadly, it does not allow for air flow, like the product claims. If anything, it captures body heat. For a reason that i am about to explain, i have not tried this with a proper bedsheet but i have slept on this protector itself. You get used to the soft plastic feeling of it very easily within the first night (again, this is without a bedsheet on top of it), but if it is humid or warm in your bedroom, you will sweat. This is especially true if you sleep in only your underwear.

I have a medical condition that causes me to bleed unpredictably from my legs and arms, and on top of that, my menstrual cycle can get really out of hand (i have pcos and hs). With that tmi out of the way i can confirm that this protector will absolutely protect the mattress under it from blood, and that blood can be cleaned off easily with just water. That’s right, just water and a wash rag. Blood will come off that easily, so of course, other liquids should be easier to clean. Even dried blood will come off easy, if it had time to dry for any reason, like being asleep for long hours.

Now, i get the blood off with water first, then i immediately come back and wash it again with a gentle sterilizing agent and then water again. It will still take time to dry, but i normally take a towel to it. I’m just putting this out there so no one gets the idea that i am lazily gross lol. Have to defend my poor, battered old body and my honor some way since i’m basically outing my painful medical issues to the world in this review.

It may have been a gross review with tmi in it, but i hope this helps you make your decision easier. Be aware that if you sleep on it the way that i have to (without a bedsheet) that over time it will start to yellow a little where you sleep and sweat. That’s when it’s time to put it in the washer, or take some very gentle bleach to the area and follow up with water. No matter how ‘gentle’ said bleach is, you still don’t want any on your skin or clothes.

Other than it trapping body heat, my only other complaint would have to be that this protector, like any other fitted sheet i used to sleep on in the past, does wrinkle and tends to slip in the direction you get out of bed most often; the pull of your body weight and all that. It’s unavoidable with just about any fitted sheet so i wasn’t expecting this to be different. It is easier to smooth out, however.

The material on this product is soft, seems durable and easy to care for.

I like that it does protect the mattress from liquid i bought 2 of them and they are easy to clean i’m really happy with this product

Used the mattress cover to keep liquids from staining/ soiling mattress. It’s easy to clean & has worked well for small amounts of liquid. Unknown if it will last long or hold a lot of moisture away from mattress. Would not recommend using for potty training as advertised because i haven’t used it for that purpose yet. Appears to be a good deal for the money spent, seller provided fast delivery.

I dont know if its water resistant or easy to potty train because i returned it due to it being a little noisy but i guess thats expected for water resistent material.

We got this for our bed for help protect our mattress. Easy to throw in the wash and get on and off. Seems fine do it’s job, but it is a little stiff so it doesn’t feel super comfortable under our sheets.
