This works great for exfoliating and shaving my peach fuzz. The older i get, the more the hair on my upper lip gets darker than i like, and this makes it easy to shave that so i don’t have to use my husbands face razor. It does leave my skin a bit irritated for a few hours but the discomfort is not that bad and it’s gone before i even know it. A little lotion afterwards helps that razor burn feeling, and actually i feel like using an actual razor irritates my skin way more than this. I use it about once a week and my skin is looking so nice.

Literaly the best thing i’ve ever bought on amazon! I’ve been doing dermaplaning for 10+ years and this is the first time in my life i actually didn’t cut myself. The razors are incredibly sharp but smooth on the skin and to do my whole face took 10 times less time than before while using different brands. I just regret i didn’t find these sooner and i was torturing and cuting myself in the past with cheaper brands. Do not hesitate, you will be amazed as much as i am.

I used to use use nair for peach fuzz and it never really got rid of all the hair, burned my skin, and smelled awful. I decided to give these a whirl and in about 2 minutes all that peach fuzz was gone and there was zero irritation! It took me maybe two strokes to get the feel of it and then the rest was super easy. I used them on my eyebrows and my husband’s eyebrows, too, and let me just say we are looking so fresh, so fab, and that nair is in the trash. If you’re on the fence, just buy them!

Ok. At first when i heard about this, i was on the fence…but literally every beauty article on my feed says this item is a must have, and so inexpensive so maybe i’ll see what the hype is about!

This thing is legit!! I cleaned up my eyebrows perfectly, cleaned up my husband’s, and cleaned up this little peach fuzz on the side of my face that appeared as i got older…but i digress. All of that took less than 5 min, was painless and i’m mad that it took me so long to try these. Definitely a buy again!

I purchased for an elderly, disabled family member that will get a few occasional, unwanted chin hairs. It was easy to use and did what was product intended. When i purchased i assumed it was going to be a straight smooth blade, but found out it was serrated. I tried it on myself before using on my family member b/c i didn’t want to cut her. I found out you have to be careful of the direction you move the blade or it can nick you. I found moving from top to bottom works best. Unfortunately, i did nick my poor family member when using around the corner of the lip. However, she like it b/c it makes her feel more confident having the hairs removed.

This is the best dermaplane package that i’ve found so far. I took off one star because every single blade in each package i’ve purchased has one prong that’s longer than the rest. It scratches your face if not angled perfectly. At least they’re sharp enough to remove hair, which is more than i can say for other brands!

So i bought these cuz of buzzfeed’s 10 things u must have.
They work great!!!! For any of u girls who are hairy, use these!!! After the initial peach fuzz is gone then it seems its great for exfoliating. I will be buying more!!!

I have been using these for quite a while now and they still work like new! The shave great- never leave razor burn or skin irritations; i’m happy with how my skin feels afterward! Would buy these again!

Pros: cheap, close shave with minimal stubble, not overly irritating to the skin, no facial redness, works well to “spot correct” missed shaving spots

cons: still a shave (not full hair removal from the root like a wax), some stubble, doesn’t last as long as a wax

all right, ladies! Let’s talk about female facial hair.

I’m not talking about cute, little peach fuzz. I’m talking dark, coarse, pubescent-teenage-boy-beard hair. But on a 20-something-year-old woman.

As someone diagnosed with pcos, part of the way my symptoms manifest is through hirsutism, or thick, dark hair on my face and neck. Prior to quarantine, i scheduled regular full face waxes every 3 weeks. (i really probably could have done them more frequently, but i’m not made of money…) if i let it go any longer than that, the beard and mustache got embarrassingly ridiculous.

(for those of you ladies who can rock the natural look, you’re my heroes! I am not that secure in my femininity.)

flash forward to everything closing in quarantine. Without the option to get a wax but the necessity of showing my face in video calls, i ordered these facial trimmers, and i am in love. I can get an incredibly close shave (that feels almost as smooth as after a wax) for a fraction of the price. Plus, i can shave on my own time as often as needed, without having to schedule a wax somewhere else. I do need to do a trim every few days, but it’s super quick and easy to maintain!

Some tips for using this product for bodacious, bearded ladies:
– shave in the shower. I don’t use a mirror, but i find shaving under running water helps speed the process and reduce irritation. I tried shaving dry once, and it hurt. If you miss a spot, you can always wet a small area at the sink and correct later!
– shave in all directions. Up, down, across. I find this helps get that smooth, almost post-wax feel. You will still have some stubble (it’s a razor, duh), but it can be super minimal. Be sure to be gentle with your strokes, though; it is a blade on your face.
– aftercare. After my shower, i dab the shaved areas with witch hazel on a cotton pad, and then i apply an unscented post-shave balm (designed for men’s faces, so i assume it’s good for mine). I wait a little while and then continue my skincare/makeup routine as normal. Remember that shaving your face physically exfoliates the skin in addition to removing hair, so care for your skin accordingly. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but this product hasn’t caused irritation for me. (other than the time i shaved dry. Just don’t do it.)

finding these trimmers has literally saved me around $100/month. I was skeptical that shaving my face would work anywhere near as well as a wax, but i’m glad i was forced to prove myself wrong. I usually use my trimmer 2-3 times a week and replace it every 4th or 5th use. Store it in a clean, dry place (i.e., not on the side of your tub/shower) to prevent bacteria buildup.

The packaging recommends these for eyebrow trimming, but i don’t trust myself not to shave off half my eyebrow accidentally. I will definitely be getting a brow wax once things reopen; i’m leaving that to the professionals. I may still get a full face wax every once in a while, but this product helps me maintain a smooth face for a fraction of the cost, plus i don’t have any post-wax redness/irritation.

I also use one of these to “spot correct” any spots i miss when shaving my legs, etc. I just dampen the area with water and use the trimmer, and it works great! Be careful on the back of your knees, though; the one time i cut myself was trimming a spot i missed on the back of my knee.

Tl;dr: i highly recommend this for women dealing with pcos/hirsutism. It won’t last as long as a wax, but you can get almost as smooth of a removal for a price you can’t beat!

I’m a hairy gal. Hormonal problems ruled out by my physician, it’s just hereditary. My cheeks, neck, forehead, and chin are covered in a fine ever-growing peach-fuzz. If i cease shaving, i shall acquire a boat and thus forth be dubbed blonde beard. My mustache is darker and thicker, something i think a lot of women experience.

I have been shaving for a while with a men’s razor (gillette fusion proglide for reference) and shaving cream but it just couldn’t give me a close enough shave. Enter schick silk touch-up! Holy wow! I’ve been dry shaving my entire face and some of my neck with these and no irritation plus it is the closest shave i have gotten. No pulling or scraping like other ‘mini-razors’. It’s quicker than doing what i call a ‘dad shave’ in the shower and i can see what i’m shaving because i’m at my makeup table and there’s no shaving cream obstructing my view (i don’t want to accidentally hack off the hair by my ears or forehead). Plus, i compared this to other (what i call) mini-razors and it’s twice the size (picture for reference, the pink one furthest to the right is this product)!! Obviously i’m not new to the hair removal game. So very efficient for doing your whole face, easy for detailing those brows. There was a bit of skin buildup after scraping (it’s called exfoliating, it’s good for you because…it is) at my face but just wash off with soap and water and let air dry completely before you put a cap back on. I like to use a toner and moisturizer after shaving because i think that’s what you should do after exfoliating.

At the end of the day, everyone’s skin is very different. While i experienced no irritation, some reviewers suggest that using these wet or with cream works better. So you should probably patch test to see what works for your skin and don’t scream at me if this doesn’t solve your problems, make you rich, and give you puppies.

I love this product and hope that they sell it forever. It works on my peach fuzz, mustache, and brows. If i ever get word that they are going to stop making them, i will hoard them all.

So, i wanted to leave a review to address some specifics that other reviews glossed over a bit.

Recently, my facial hair grew substantially thicker due to doctor recommended hormone supplementation.

I tried an epilator first before i tried these. The epilator did not touch the peach fuzz at all, and only pulled out thick, long, hairs. The epilator also hurt and took forever.

These razors work much better than the epilator. It was very satisfying to remove the peach fuzz the first time. The removal of the peach fuzz leaves a more defined jaw line and better definition for your cheek bones and other facial contours. It looks good.

However, the safety guard that is on these razors to prevent cutting also somewhat impairs the shaving of thicker hairs. In addition to peach fuzz, i grow black and brown hairs more similar to what a man might deal with. This razor will cut these hairs, but it may take multiple shaves over the same area to really get a close shave on them.

Also, i have seen it reported that you can derma plane once per week. Lol. That is a total fantasy. For me, if i want to maintain a smooth face i need to use the razor at least once per day, if not twice per day. However, to be fair, that is not really a big deal. It is quite fast and easy.

I do agree that the use of the razor has caused some minimal pimple issues. These pimples are easy to get rid of and much less noticeable than the breakouts i was having from the epilator. They are also less significant than breakouts i got with a regular style razor.

So, overall, if you grow thicker hair on your face you will need to use these daily, and you may need to shave over the same area of your face multiple times to take care of the thicker hairs. However, these razors will leave your face very smooth. The process is easy and painless, and i personally find it far more effective than an epilator for facial hair growth.

I will continue to buy these, but may also try some other straight razors to see if i can find something a bit more effective for my thicker hair growth.

The blades are incredibly sharp and will cut you easier than expected. The handle is very long, making it difficult to maneuver effortlessly.

I love these! I follow someone on instagram who recommended them. I bought them to see if they work and they really do. They will get the baby fine hairs and take them off.

These are pretty nice to use. Gets closer than the twinkle brand i think. But both are good. Have to get it at the right angle and then it’s great!!

Great for eyebrows, not for face. I wish i had known not to use these for oily skin types. I broke out like crazy afterwards due to my skin no longer having the hairs on my face to absorb the extra oil so it made it worse. If you’re using it for your whole face, only use it once or expect irritation.

I like these better than bitter blades with guards like versed. The guards on the guards prevent me from getting a clean shave, where as these get very close and have no guard on the end.
You do have to be more careful to not angle the tip and keeping the handle more parallel to your face.
The blades are surprisingly sharp for the price which i like. I felt like i got great exfoliation. As with any dermaplaning tool, your skin will likely be red and sensitive after shaving off the top layer of skin.
These blades don’t just remove hair, i can see actual skin on the blades. I’d say so it before bed and put some aloe vera gel on your face rather than chemical lotion.
I deducted one star because it would be great if they did blade refills to decrease waste.

I write this review while comparing it with my skin however this may change depending on your skin.
I gave this product a 4 star rating due to the following: 5 stars for working so well with sensitive and dry skin, i was able to easily get the shape i needed and it seemed to cut flawlessly without me having to go over a few times, 2 stars for moisturizing as maybe it’s just me but i can’t see how this product moisturizes the skin and i didn’t see anything on the product that would do so. As for shape i did find it mostly easy to use so gave this one a 4 star.

Overall thoughts: i love this product and will continue to buy these. They’ve made it much easier for me to shape my brows and i would highly recommend giving this product a try.
