The ad seemed to state they could be used outdoors, but after they arrived, i just don’t know. I placed one in an empty outdoor socket and am waiting for it to rain the first time. The socket has been outside for several years so i know it is waterproof. I don’t hold out much hope for it to be waterproof. I scanned the code to get a manual or instructions and got a statement that the manual ‘wasn’t available in your country.” the included instructions are very hard to understand. It does have fair video quality. The tracking movement is jerky and sometimes doesn’t work and even on the lowest settings the camera follows everything and sends notifications each time a leaf blows by. It does have rudimentary ‘night vision‘, and a bright light. These cameras seem more of a novelty than a serious security device.
