Recently my charger went out. I was hesitant to get one from amazon. Went ahead with this one and it’s better than expected. It charges fast, and it’s nearly exactly the same as the charger that came with my macbook pro, and a great price.

I just received the charger i ordered, it works with my computer. The price was definitely way less then the original. I’m not sure how is going to work but i’ll update once i see after a few weeks of used. I took a picture of the original and the new replacement, length of cord is smaller then the original but it works. I read some reviews that it might get hot after certain time, but i will update after using it and i might update the rating.

It came quickly and worked as soon as i plugged it in. It’s only been two days but still working….

Seems pretty durable, cord could be longer but good product for the price.

Does it charge? Yes.
Does it charge fast enough? Sure.
Has it started any fires? Nope.
Does it come with an extension? No, that’s understandably extra. You get just the charger, here.

It does everything i was hoping for with the low dollar amount, except with how it was packaged and shipped. The cord was wrapped so tightly around the charger, that there is now a permanent bend at the neck. I already know that a knockoff is likely going to have a shorter lifespan than the branded macbook charger, but c’mon, set a bargain girl up to get the most bang for her buck.

Heats up a lot more than the original, great otherwise

I recently noticed that the original charger for my early 2015 macbook pro was on it’s last legs. The cord was fraying at the flex points, it was overheating, and the charger had even begun to spark when being plugged in. It was time for a replacement.

My instinct was to just grab another apple-branded charger and be done with it but $60 was way more than i was prepared to spend. So after some extensive searching and comparing, i ordered the universal 60w replacement charger from siliconv. It was well-reviewed, met the same specifications of my oem charger, and was roughly one-third the price.

I’ve been using this charger for about a week now and am very pleased with it. It’s virtually identical to apple’s version, the magnetic connection is just as strong, and it doesn’t overheat or spark like my last one. Highly recommend.

My family did a big move and i misplaced my charger in the move. I was starting my job working from home soon after we moved, and i didn’t have a charger for laptop (my laptop was completely dead!). This came the next day and was such a great price!!!! Saved me for my job!

My old cord worn out. Ordered it and got it the next day. My only major concern is how fast the block heated when charging the laptop. If you order this, be aware of that heat. Put it up and away from clothes, carpet and anything that can burn fast. I hung it over the door knob using its fastner and seems to be ok.
