I bought two of these for my heated vest. I leave for work with one charging on the charger, and one fully charged connected to the vest. When i get home, i swap them because the rest of the family likes the house temperature a few degrees colder than i do in the winter. (we are in wisconsin and the thermostat is usually at 67-ish.) in the morning, i put the one i used for the night on the charger and take the fully charged one to work. I have been following this routine for a few weeks now. The battery packs both charge fast, last an appropriate length of time, and have functioned as they should. I will probably buy another one soon to keep at the office in case i forget to swap them in the morning.

Decent battery charger, nothing fancy, just simple and straight forward. Slim design and not heavy; great for travel.

I have charged my iphone 13 max pro and my tablet mini 100% charged both and the battery still had power left. Perfect for me!

I’ve always loved spigen products and wanted this as soon as it came on the market. Very well built, slender, light, easy to use. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a power bank. Can’t go wrong but is a little pricier than china made products but this is made in s. Korea, which i’m proud to support.

this is a slick compact power bank in the configuration of a thin smartphone-sized form factor. I’m really pleased that spigen is creating a line of power banks, as i nearly exclusively have bought spigen phone cases over nearly a decade or so for all the numerous phones i’ve been through, including the iphone 4s, galaxy s3, and over the years fast forward to 2020, now sport a spigen case on my wife’s iphone 11 and my galaxy s9.

I’ve gained respect for the brand to create quality cases, and this power bank appears very-well engineered and designed. Most importantly, coming from a reputable south korean company, i feel comfortable knowing that they must have used quality components in the build. Power banks are nearly a ubiquitous commodity nowadays, and some sleazy vendors will use poor quality li-ion cells that do not perform well or cut corners creating a potential costly fire hazard, but this power bank hits all the highlights.

Mainly:
– qc3.0 and pd for the power bank discharge (as in charging your phone) and recharge. It speeds through charging the aforementioned smart phones with a speed that feels similar to a wall charger.
– compact form factor, similar in weight and size to a typical mid-sized phone.
– 10000 mah is really the minimum i consider, nowadays, and will get close to three recharges, or extend your phone’s battery for all day heavy use.
– stays cool on the discharge and recharge
– led indicator lights unobtrusive but does meet the minimum usable information, in that the tiny 4 dots will indicate charge level by 25% (ballpark) increments.

Overall, this is a solid power bank that travels well, performs outstanding, and is built with clearly premium quality.

As a bonus, a longer usb-c cable (to recharge the power bank) is included as well as a short usb-a to usb-c 2 ft cable (shorter than a standard 3 ft cable) for connecting to your phone. Lastly, a really nice, thick draw-string pouch holds everything and protects from bumps and bruises. A very nice bonus!

I have been using this battery charger for 2 weeks. During the time, it worked great as expected. I love the fact that it could support fast charge for my samsung phone and could fastly charge the phone to full ~3 times after i fully charged the power bank

Like all spigen products i have encountered, this pocketboost portable charger incorporated practical features into an attractively-designed, well-priced product.

The entire unit was compact and lightweight, comparable to a smartphone. The exterior was simply matte black plastic with just the top quarter of the device having molded diagonal lines to give some visual interest.
Like other such chargers, this one charged using a usb cable with the option for a usb-c or usb-a cable.

Within the area of the diagonal lines on the power bank, there was the power button which was more of a wake button than a traditional on/off button. Right above that button were the 4 led dots which served as battery indicators. Each led dot represented 25% of the battery, thus 4 illuminated dots meant you had between 75%-100% of charge, 3 dots meant 50%-75%, 2 dots meant 25%-50% of the charge, and then 1 dot was 5%-25% of charge. Lastly, when there was only 0%-5% of the power left, the led also flashed. When you drained the battery, the last dot flashed to indicate the power bank needed to be recharged.

I found this led setup worked just fine, though the tiny and deeply-set dots were impossible to see from any distance other than right before your face. A beep to indicate starting and finishing charging would have been a nice and helpful addition to the tiny dots.

Charging the pocketboost from out-of-the-box to a full charge took about 3 hours. Fortunately, when the device was charging my smartphone, things moved along more swiftly. I got just under 3 charges for my phone out of a fully-charged charger.

Included with the charger in spigen’s trademark white-and-orange box were two types of usb cable, both branded with the spigen logo, along with a soft, well-padded carrying bag, also branded with spigen’s logo and wordmark (see photo). The instruction booklet was bare-bones on information and printed with a font too small for middle-aged eyes (see photo). According to the box, the device and its accessories were designed in irvine, california and made in china.

Even though it had some shortcomings, i do recommend this device due to its slender design, light weight, and practicality.

Usb power banks are a dime a dozen these days, but i’ve found that increasingly i’m looking for ones which charge via usb-c instead of micro-usb. Since very few devices are being newly produced with micro-usb, i’m less likely to have those chargers lying around. This is a good choice for a usb-c charging power bank, with quick charging (hard to know exactly how effective this is since it only shows a series of a few leds to indicate charging level, rather than an lcd with a percentage. But it’s slim, small and looks good, has no sharp edges if it bumps around in a bag, and it’s built by a fairly reputable company. I worry about purchasing power banks from no-name chinese companies since there are more than a few incidences of overheating and explosions. While this is still produced in a chinese factory, i expect the quality control to be a lot better from spigen. So far it’s working like a champ.

Everyone eventually sells a power bank, it seems. Spigen, known for inexpensive phone cases, has branched out into screen protectors, cables, and apparently power banks. I like 10,000 mah power banks, because they seem to have the best balance between portability and capacity. The 18w pd port charges up a supported iphone very quickly. If you have a device that supports qc 3.0, this power bank has you covered there too. It comes with two cables and a soft carry case, which is more than what you get with most power banks. Anker sometimes includes them, but not always and they’re ususally a bit more expensive, unless you pay attention to the dizzying number of promos, deals, and sales that they seem to have all the time. The only thing that spigen got wrong with this power bank is that the leds are very difficult to see unless you’re looking down directly over them. Aside from that, this is a very nice power bank that performs well, includes great accessories, and is reasonably priced.

I like this battery. Don’t get me wrong. It charged up nicely. It’s held it’s charge. Best of all, it then charged my phone quite well. The construction seems nicely solid. These batteries get banged around carrying them in my backpack, so that’s good. Better, this comes with a protective mesh bag, which i use.

However, it only has the one usb connector. Sometimes, my wife forgets her battery, so i have to plug two phones in. Other times, i need to charge my phone and my headphones or my phone and my kindle. Two usb ports is kind of a must.

So, great unit, but lost a star for me because of the single usb outlet.
