I often have need of a propane lighter – to light my gas fireplace and candles, to melt sealing wax, to ignite my gas stove jets occasionally. But i have always had a difficult time triggering the propane lighter – it hurts my finger. And more often than not just when i need it, the darn thing is out of propane. I usually have three of them…one in the basement, one in the kitchen, one the living room. And wouldn’t you know when one is out of propane they are all out propane. Annoying and dangerous to use just a tiny little match to do the job. So when i saw this flameless rechargeable lighter advertised i just had to have one. They were 17 bucks – but when one went on sale for $9 i bought it. It works great and comes with one year warranty.
Designed with child safety in mind, you push a safety lock switch, then press the ignition switch to get it to work. The igniting spark will auto stop after 7 seconds. This would be ideal for outside events when lighting camp fires or luminaria candles because it can’t be blown out by strong winds. Painless operation.

These electric arc lighters are awesome! I received one as a gift a few days before christmas and was amazed by it! It works really well! I’m so happy to never buy another butane lighter again! 🙂 my 2 teenage daughters love to burn candles in their rooms so after being wowed by mine, i ordered 2 for them for christmas. Thanks to amazon’s super fast shipping, they got here right in time. I also ordered a couple more as gifts for others. Everyone who got one was so intrigued and awed by this simple yet super cool gadget. We got the silver, gold, cobalt blue, light metallic blue, and light metallic green.

Yet another amazon gift i bought for someone else & ordered a 2nd for myself! Very sleek and so nice it has no fuel in it, so it made a great gift for a frequent traveler. The holiday motif is cute too. The mechanism seems complex enough that it can’t accidentally light. Last, being rechargeable should be great because in theory you’d never have it run out as a butane lighter could, but i haven’t used enough yet to gauge battery life

My husband loved this lighter so much – we had to order another one, so he could have his own.

At first i was worried that i would accidentally light something on fire because of the exposed prongs, but there is an on/off switch, along with a button – so there can’t be accidental fires (sparks).

The lighter is easy to charge and has a great battery life.

Forget about matches! I was so done with them and this device made lighting my candles super easy. However, if you have nicer branded candles, they will become too wide on the wick for the lighter. My trick was lighting the less wide area underneath. Make sure to clean the lighter edges with something since stuff can build up there and spark immediately but not dangerously.

I bought this for a bartender, who let me borrow his lighter once, and i walked out with it! I promised i would get him something cooler and nicer… And this was it. He was thrilled… Definitely adds a “spark” to him lighting the candles in the restaurant

I love candles! I have these in every room where i burn candles (office, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom). For christmas, i gifted my candle-loving sister a few great candles and one of these… My mom was jealous so i had to get her one too!

My first one gave out, but the seller was nice and sent a replacement. Here are some tips they passed on:

1. Don’t use a fast charger to charge the lighter. These fast chargers have built-in chips to control power, which may be vulnerable to hacking attacks that can cause power surges in the charger, which may damage normal electric devices.

2. Don’t forget to close the slide out tip after use.

3. Try charging the lighter by plugging it into the usb port of a computer.

4. Long-term inactivity will affect battery life.the battery needs to be charged at least once a month to activate the vitality.

5. The tips are made of heat-resistant ceramic (the ceramic does not burn). The lighter may not work properly when there is built up carbon and wax on these tips. Please clean the tips regularly after use.

I hate those lighters that never work because of wind or no more fluid. I always felt like i had to click them a million times to get them to work. These always work! I have owned for over six months and haven’t had to charge them yet and they work every time. Battery does indicate if its low. I love them. Sometimes it does take a few seconds to light but far superior to the other kind.

What a great idea, i don’t have to buy lighters every couple of months… At first i couldn’t get past the childproofing lol but i guess that’s the point.. Great purchase

I ordered this for my hubby. He is a smoker (light) and thought a flameless lighter might be a good gift. I ordered in the black color and it has a very sleek design. He was very impressed when he tried it out, however it is quite long and slender. Not practical to carry is his pocket. Otherwise a nice gift item but not something he could carry around. It will most likely remain at home or in his truck for smoke break. I will look for smaller designs that are pocket friendly. But this one is a keeper regardless. Husband approved.

This product was great up until today, which is why i gave it three stars. However, after using it until the battery died, it will not charge.
My lighter may have been defective but it took so long to die because i didn’t use it too often i missed the return period.

Edit: the company offered to send a new lighter that works!

I really enjoyed the use of this product however, i don’t know if mine came defective or what not but the battery life will not last you more than perhaps 2-5minutes of actual use. A really disappointing part of this purchase. Otherwise i’d give a 5 star.

It came charged and works well. It takes some getting used to and makes a scary sound when lighting, but very effective and no more running out! Plus, it looks good. Everyone wants it who has seen me use it.

I am always looking for eco friendly alternatives and this lighter is one of my best purchases. I use it for my incense, candles and whatever else i need it for. The only downside about these lighters is that the tip isn’t wide enough to light certain thing. I sometimes struggle lighting the incense. It’s easy to use, definitely a lot larger then a regular lighter but still easy to store and overall a great product.

I liked the sleek design and color. Wished it had the flexible nek like my other one, but this works just fine.

I bought two for me. I loved them. Then i bought two for my sister, who also loved them. Until… They needed charging. They never held a charge and never worked again. I’m really disappointed. I really loved this product but it’s a bust

I guess the mini arc makes a high frequency noise. It works great but that sound is horrible.

Lost the charging cord in recent move.purchased in january 2022; love it but
without the charge cord, it’s no good, please advise
