I am a renter, otherwise i’d probably just replace my door. But, i live on a hill and things have shifted over the years, there is a pretty noticeable (to me) gap between the door and the frame on the top and bottom of the door. I get bugs and drafts and its been a pain. Last night i cut this weather strip to size, cleaned the door a little, and stuck it on. The adhesion works really well. I was kind of just winging it, and almost got it too low, i tried backing out a little but it was stuck pretty dang good. Maybe pay a little more attention than i did, but i got it on good enough for my liking. The material is more flexible than i had imagined, which is nice. Seems like it wont get brittle over winter and break on me.

Have ordered these more than once/ very easy to apply. Holding up well after more than 2 years of use and less expensive than most.

I thought i would struggle to adhere this to the door, but it actually went on easily and in a straight like on the first attempt. I read other reviews that suggested to lay it flat for a few days before installing, and that was a wonderful recommendation! I wiped the door with rubbing alcohol first, and did not even need to use the small pins that were included. Works perfectly for keeping the draft out from my unfinished basement

Better than expected. Not even other home improvement stores offer anything like this. It looks beautiful and i highly recommend it.

This was used for our doors to keep the spiders out and the cold. It definitely works and i do need to buy more.

This 2-pack was perfect for the 2 doors in my home that needed gaps filled at the bottom. I always read negative reviews before purchasing products to see what i might be up against and if i think the gamble is worth it. Frankly, none of the negative reviews about this product turned out to be true for me. The 2 items arrived in good condition, rolled (not folded), and simply laying them out flat on a table for a few days flattened them just fine. My 2 doors are wood — one sealed and one raw wood — which i cleaned with alcohol before trimming the draft stoppers to the correct length and applying to the doors. I have waited a month to write this review, to ensure the items stayed securely stuck to both doors, which they have. The floors in my older home are not completely even, so the draft stoppers even rub the floors a little when the doors are opened, yet they have stayed securely stuck to the doors. If i decide to install draft stoppers on other doors, this product will be my first choice. These draft stoppers are thick, sturdy, easy to trim to the correct length, and stick tight.

I was initially skeptical and didn’t even take the strips out of their plastic because i was sure i would return it – but after reading some reviews and watching the video (be sure to watch before installing) i tried these strips and they are amazing! For the first time no bees, water, air, etc… Can come in under my outer storm door. The adhesion is excellent on the metal and it was easy to install. I hope it will stick well for all seasons but for now i most highly recommend these strips. Certainly a good price for two strips with such strong adhesive!

The only thing i don’t like about it is when i open my door i can’t have my door mat in front of the door. It pushes the door mat backwards. Other wise i like it.

Easy to install and works well

The item itself was soft, plyable, and did stick well. I heated it with the blow dryer to straighten the curled ends. Which in turn heated it and it stuck better. The nail heads didn’t go through the door as the door was metal where we put it so we couldn’t use them. It did cover the open spaces and i hope this in turn will not allow as many insects, or air into my home when the door is close.

This is exactly what i was looking for and needed, but it had clearly sat in the box coiled up for far too long because it wouldn’t straighten out and installed a bit wonky because of it. So a little annoying because it clearly doesn’t look straight on the bottom of my door, but good enough to do it’s job.

The panels come in a small box where they’re wrapped in a circle. This causes the panels to develop a wave pattern, as opposed to being straight. Therefore sections of the panel drag along the floor more than other sections. It is not a major issue, but it does bother me and if you’re particular (and perhaps ocd) then it may be something to consider. I like them, though. I think they are solid and nice looking. I didn’t mind them easy to cut, but i tried to cut one while it was on the door so maybe that was the problem. I don’t always trust myself when measuring.

Adhesive works great so far.

The adhesive came off a little bit on one of them, but these come with little tacks that hold it to the door as well, and those worked great. My old house has large gaps from the door to the floor so these helped a lot with keeping the air conditioning or heat from escaping.

I could not get the tacks included to go through the strip no matter how hard i hit them with a hammer. I can still see light through it but they keep any bugs out i guess

Nice concept! We cut wrong so it was a bit short. Not real sound-proof.

For the price it’s definitely a good purchase. Comes with tacks that help hold the adhesive in place. It’s been on our door for a few months now and shows very little signs of wear. Would buy again.

I followed the instructions on the box and it seems fine for now. I will add an update as time goes by.

These are super easy to use, but if you have an older house with a higher entry door sash at the bottom, it won’t reach the floor and you’ll need additional weather stripping.
