Tea Tree Special Shampoo, Deep Cleans, Refreshes Scalp, For All Hair Types, Especially Oily Hair

I remember going to the hair salon for the first time as a kid and getting this “spicy” shampoo treatment after a haircut that felt amazing. It was my favorite part of a salon haircut every 2 weeks which had me coming back for more. Crazy how i never asked what brand it was and went my whole life without it until now.

Smells like a strong york peppermint patty and translates into a cooling vicks vapor rush off the dome (you’ll cry tears if it gets near your eyes). That tingling rush off my scalp convinces me something is working and leaves me confidently clean. After a week of use, i noticed my hair getting softer and scalp feeling refreshed without the oily acne patches i faced before.

The high price is a turnoff but at the same time, i get it. Luckily, i’m a guy with short hair so i’ll make the bottle last longer.

I have been using tea tree shampoo for years to combat dry scalp and dandruff and have been buying it from a salon or similar at higher prices. I was skeptical of this from amazon but it turned out to be the actual product which was great because it was a much better value ordering online than purchasing in a salon or barbershop. The product arrived in good shape with no leaks and was placed in a bag inside the box as well to ensure no leakage. This product works great and has a great smell as well that lingers for a while. Don’t worry about purchasing from amazon, this is the actual product.

This shampoo leaves your hair feeling clean with a nice fragrance. Must have eucalyptus or menthol in it, because my scalp tingles while washing hair, an unexpected benefit. Some folks may find it too strong but for me it’s refreshing. Probably a good product for oily hair, but for me not too drying at all. Love it.

Husband has used this for years and now my son is using it – excellent product for hair and scalp that is oily and normal areas. Love it! I use it also – when i just need something to get my hair back into it norm of texture after a long period of abuse. 🙂

I have been using this shampoo for years and i am glad it is available on amazon for quick delivery. I have always gotten the bottle shipped in good shape. I say that because sometimes bottles through shipping doesn’t make it without leaking. This shampoo works as shampoo and body wash. I use it for both when i am traveling. I like the moisturizing effect it has on my hair because my hair is oily and it cleans great

Dandruff , bad, thick on my scalp. Embaressing. Leaves hair soft & loosens dandruf.

Think price is too high for the quantity provided. Otherwise it’s good.

Didn’t care for smell.

So i have really bad dry scalp, all of the sudden it’s not like i’ve had it forever. So about the teatree shampoo and lavender conditioner i just use it for the first time and my hair felt really clean my scalp feels nice and tingly and it smells really good you can smell it all over the apartment. I would definitely recommend trying this. I did not have any problems with shipping or receiving or getting duplicate products or the pump was broken, none of that.

I bought this for my husband as an alternative to a messy steroid oil. When used every 3 days, it is very effective.

Great at keeping the dandruff at bay. Has a strong minty smell but not bad.

I don’t have a dandruff issue, but it seems to have helped my itchy scalp. Nice scent and tingly feeling.

The product is very good! But i compared both of them, still have difference… ( after you washed your hair, the officials one will let you will feel very refreshed on the scalp with a burst of green tea. )

This shampoo smells soothing.

This is hands down one of my favorite shampoos to use for my hair. Unfortunately i had to have it sent to me three times since the two previous times shampoo leaked everywhere inside of the bag. Long as you are patient and willing to work out if there is a shipping issue, worth it.

I bought this after reading so many positive reviews about it, however when i actually got to use it, i could feel that my hair dried out immediately. It’s not like your normal head and shoulders or pantene shampoo that feels like it’s moisturizing your hair. I could tell that it left a much drier feeling that i was afraid of leaving it on too much, but my hair did feel very clean after. The scent isn’t as good as some people have said; it does have a minty smell combined with something else, but the smell wasn’t as fresh as i expected. After using it that one time i was sort of skeptical, but the morning my hair actually looked so nice! It was more smooth and not as frizzy as usual, so i guess the shampoo did something? Anyways, i do recommend this, however i suggest using it only once or twice a week so that it doesn’t dry out your hair too much.

This bottle is small but you only need a nickel sized amount of it. Don’t get it in your eyes though! That tea tree oil stings!

Works good, i haven’t seen much improvement in hair growth, but i seem to be losing less hair, so that’s good! The colder the water you shower with the stronger that cooling sensation will be. My friend said it felt more like a burn to her, not for everybody. Bottle looks different then picture

just received it and jumped into the shower. Read the ingredients and directions on the bottle. Used it and felt the great burn/tingling on my scalp and skin. I am a head and shoulders user for many years, i used other top of the line brands as well but couldn’t catch the success. After moving from istanbul turkey to usa ohio, different climate and weather, winter and water conditions caused an itchy or sometimes flaky scalp on my head. Head and shoulders worked for years in ohio, find out that when its dry and cold in winter it wouldn’t take care my dry scalp as much. After moving oklahoma, water is very hard in here. I even used nizoral to control this. In winter no dry scalp at all in oklahoma, summer came in even gets rainy a lot this year, man once the heat goes up i see my hair get flakes sometimes. I also noticed that head and shoulders changed the mixture in their shampoo so it stopped working. Hard water requires deep rinse in your hair and gotta use hair drier so nothing causes flakes but too much work and can’t pay too much attention all the time.

Now today as i said at the beginning of my review, i used it right away. Usually even after shower i see flakes at the bottom of my hair little bit. And same night or next morning i have itch a little bit.
Paul mitchell tea tree special shampoo that i just used like 20 mins ago, no dry scalp or flakes yet, even after shower. I left it moist and did not use hair drier to dry my hair. If i get itch tomorrow morning, i will update this review and will let you know if this worked on my hair or not.

Make sure each bath/shower use it 3 times. First dump/rub of shampoo is just cleans and gets rid off oil and dirt from your hair, second dump/rub of shampoo when your skin/scalp can really start infused by shampoo and its ingredients. Third dump/rub of shampoo is when your shampoo and its ingredients really working and going into pours fully.

Pros:
smells great compare to other dry scalp care supplies.
Feels great during and after shower.
Seems legit burns/tingles your scalp/skin.
First dump u get to feel, second and third dump show how well quality is this shampoo.
Made in the u.s.a. So it is pretty legit.

Cons:
i wish they would have use a under cap or over cap seal with some sort of brand marks or hologram so other buyers of other sellers can ensure that they have an original product.
I wish it was little bit cheaper, going from $10-$15 shampoo to $43-$50 shampoo for a first time parent very hard and it hurts a lot. Because it is just a shampoo and ingredients given by nature. Using smaller dumps after 2 weeks of use can make it little bit more economic of usage.

I will post an update after a month or so.

The product seemed to be old and would suck back into the bottle just as quickly as it was squeezed out. Kinda like a little worm.
I went to return it but they just gave me a credit. I felt wasteful just tossing the product out, so i tried using it again… And while the wormy-ness grosses me out a bit, the product does seem to work as claimed.
I am hoping that next time i will get a fresher bottle that has more liquidy product in it.
