How can i assemble it?

Here is their video. Please check it out.

I’m beginner and plan to purchase this for my son, is it really easy to set up and use?

Absolutely it is very easy! Less than 5 min.it’s amazing, your son will love it.

Are you able to see jupiter and saturn with this ? Im thinking of buying this for my child

I found this on web – same power .
It depends a lot on the skies. You will be able to see jupiter, saturn, mars and venus in almost all the skies. Jupiter and saturn are mind-blowing and never cease to amaze me. Especially the rings of saturn.

What is the country of origin?

Like everything else we have in the good old usa. Its made in china. Lol

Does it work well with iphone13 max?

Yes i does work!

We’ve been trying for over an hour to see something but all we see is black. Yes, the lens covers are off. What are we doing wrong?

I had same problem first night. I waited till daylight the next day and also took the 3x power lens off until i was able to adjust with using the lens on it’s own. Hope this helps.

What planets can be seen?

Tried to look at a planet last two nights with this telescope and it’s nothing more than a tiny dot. Tripod is stiff to manipulate up and down, difficult to adjust when you are focusing on a planet in the night sky.

Does it allow you to enter specific coordinates?

No it does not

Is there an adaptor available for an android phone?

It’s compatible with android or iphone.

Is there a peice with this to set a smartphone on and take pictures?

Is there a peice with this to set a smartphone on and take pictures?

I can’t get the finder scope to align with what’s in the telescope. I tried during day. Finder is fixed. How to make them align?!

I had the same problem but it wasn’t important enough for me to bother with. You might be able to loosen the finder and realign it. Good luck

Can this support a dslr camera?

I don’t believe the attachments are correct for a dslr unless you are very clever to figure out how to attach the support to your camera. Having said that, there is a pretty good drawing explanation of the attachment on the amazon selling site, so perhaps you can figure it out from the photos.

Can you see any galaxies or novas with it?

So far i have not looked for galaxys or nova’s yet i have tried looked at the moon and the different magnifications are superb, i intended to look for galaxy and novas when i bring it to our property in the sierra nevada mountains

Can this be used for viewing on land and out to sea?

It might not be the best option to view landscapes as the image is flipped upside down due to the mirrors/lens in the telescope.

We’ve been trying for over an hour to see something but all we see is black. Yes, the lens covers are off. What are we doing wrong?

I had the same problem – went to youtube that help a little bit . I just try one lens got the moon but couldn’t get it to focus . So you might try you tube .

Is the view inverted or does it show things right side up?

If they can’t read instructions, why bother with a video?

Were those moon pictures we see in the description really shot along with this telescope?

I took some good moon pictures with just my crappy camera on my phone and they turned out pretty good, so yes they probably were and if you’ve got a nice camera on your phone it is very possible to get great shots

Is it possible to use a camera tripod with it?

Yes you can. In fact that is what i am doing right now. The one that came with the telescope was alright but the camera tripod i have is a polaroid and works much better.

An exact list of what’s in the box? What barlow lens are compatible if there aren’t any included?

A tripod, a bag, the telescope with a barlow lenses and two eyepieces. A device between the telescope and the barlow lens and an objetive finder. I think this is recommended for amateur use like me.

Does it work in the city with all the light pollution? I’m thinking of getting this as a gift for someone that lives in the city.

For any telescope to work properly, one needs darker skies.

Simple, easy to set up, learn, and use

I am a beginner in telescopes and i often got this brand recommended to me. I decided to give it a shot, mainly due to how inexpensive this telescope was. There are some instructions provided on setting up the telescope which was great, but it was relatively simple to figure out the setup. I was very excited to see the moon with my new telescope and the experience using it did not disappoint! I had fun and enjoyed it with my family too, as they looked in disbelief as to how we could see something from so far away. I managed to line my phone up with the viewing lens and took this photo, which shows about what you’d expect to see, although much clearer in person as the picture gets blurred with slight motions and the shakiness of my hand. (i believe i used the 10 mm lens for this. The other lens, 25mm, can zoom in even further!) overall very great beginner product, really enjoyed using it and am looking forward to the next full moon!

I saw saturn on my first view… I'm hooked

When i was a kid, i was always interested in the solar system. I knew all (at that time) 9 planets..(i’m still with ya pluto). As i grew older, other interests took away my focus on astronomy. And doubt starts to creep in after all the lies in our scientific organizations and society today… You begin to think.. Is all that ‘stuff’ really out there, or they are just saying it is. I bought this telescope because i always wanted one as a kid. I had some money to throw away, i didn’t have any high expectations for it. I thought maybe i’ll get to see the moon…and some blurry dots in the sky and that’s about it, and i could use it for a ‘showpiece’ in my study.

So i took it out of the box…and looked at this sorry excuse for an instruction booklet and thought… ‘yep..this is going just like i expected…’ oh how wrong i was. I read the steps to set it up… And set it up in a breeze of 3 minutes! ‘well at least it looks good’ i thought, as i set it up in my study. The night was too cloudy so i just admired it and looked at the rest of the parts.

Finally a semi-clear night came. Okay, lets go out and look at the moon. Well that sucks.. The moon isn’t visible tonight. So i focused the view finder on some shiny stars in the sky… And started to look through the telescope…. Yep…blurry dots just like i expected… … Ooohhh.. Wait… I guess i should focus it a little with these knobs on the side…

I decided to focus on this slightly orange dot…focus…focus…..and…. Wait…is that a ball?…is that.. Rings!?…. I take out the higher powered scope… The 10x……get that orange dot back into focus…. And to my surprise…. It is!!! It is saturn!!!!!!!!! I found saturn on my first try and i didn’t even know what i was really doing!!! Saturn was my favorite planet as a kid… I think it is many people’s favorite because its just so special looking. But i was jumping around like a little kid…celebrating that i found saturn. I texted all my friends, told my mom to come over to my place and look at it…. Well they weren’t as impressed as i was… But who cares about them lol. I saw saturn. Something that i never thought i would see with my own eyes in my life.

I’m not saying you will have quite the same experience, but this is an amazing telescope. Yes it’s not going to give you image quality that one running around $5,000 would, but for a beginner who doesn’t know what they are doing… This is a great buy. It will definitely stoke your interest in the universe beyond our planet earth.

Great scope to start off with

This scope was very well packaged. Each piece was neatly packed within the carry case and was in its own individual plastic bag. I was very impressed as i unpacked at the thought and care that went into packing the product and all its pieces. It took me about 30 to 35 minutes to assemble it. I will say the instructions are a little vague about assembly but it’s not terribly hard to figure out despite that. I haven’t taken it anywhere away from my house to use it, but the carry case is very nice and i can see how it would be easy to take apart and pack in case to take it on a road trip. I still need to mess around with it before i can really say how good it is as so far, i have only used it to look at the moon. I did get some great views of the moon though. I feel this is a good scope for the price and highly recommend it!

Great clarity

This product comes in a nice case which makes it very portable. It is simple to assemble which is also great for beginners. The clarity is exceptional for the price of the product. It is excellent to see the night sky and become one with the universe. Perfect for viewing at home through skylight windows or portable to take with you to a secluded dark area where the stars in the sky are spectacular. Highly recommended for adults and children interested in astronomy or simply for hobby purposes to relax and enjoy the view of a clear night sky. If you want to feel one with the universe this is the product for you.

Awesome telescope for the price

This was a present for my child’s 9th birthday. Before i decided on this telescope i did quite a bit of research on what makes a good telescope, and then read lots of reviews. I chose this telescope because it got great reviews and had everything i was looking for, and i’m glad i did! It’s super light weight and easy for my child to handle. It was easy to set up and it was so much fun watching the wonder my child experienced while getting to see the moon and mars with his own eyes! Our next goal is to look for jupiter and it’s rings. We get really excited to wait for it to get dark every night. I would definitely recommend this telescope. As beginners it was easy fo set up and use.

Plesantly surprised!

I purchased the telescope to go on stargazing dates with my partner, and if im honest wasnt really expecting much. I thouhgt it was going to be a binocular type of deal based on the price alone. However once i built it i was actually very surprised in how well it worked and how much detail you could see. It works really great for large items that are bright in the sky like the moon but honestly works really well for looking at stars too if it isnt cloudy. The telescope comes with several different lens that are interchangable and really add to the expereince. Overall it is a great beginerer telescope for the price and works fairly well all things considered

5Expert Score
Good for seeing the moon & brighter stars

I like the fact that it works, though, i personally have shaky hands (tremors) so when i am looking for a specific star in the sky, the telescope has a lil difficulty focusing due to me. But if you’re a normal human with no constant slight shake, this telescope is great.

As of portability, i always take my telescope apart to store it in the bag that came with it. Plus, there is some mechanisms that come with it, like lenses, that have to be correctly stored to be safe in the packaging. Other than that, the telescope is light in weight and is it to assemble, so screwing it together is not difficult.

The part where your phone goes in the ‘selfie’ holder to see through the telescope lens comes with no instructions (or at least, mine didn’t). So for the 10 min i spent, feeling stupid looking for instructions that aren’t there and not knowing what to do, i’d advise u to not feel stupid- so here’s what to do, the phone holder goes over where your eye lens is; then it tightens to then hold the phone.

I would most definitely recommend this to any one that wants a starter telescope. 🙂

Great all around telescope

This was a gift for my 76 year old father. He absolutely loves it. Vey easy to assemble. It takes a little practice to get that steady hand and adjust for the dead center view but once used to it your good to go.
Camera attachment is awesome for those older eyes ( it came broken, my father will contact hexeum
to resolve problem and i will modify review to 5 stars) the full moon was just incredible, you can clearly see the craters. It is equally great for long distance viewing long distance over water ( lake ontario in this case).
Understand that depending on the lense set up image will be upside down but you can cleary see unreal detail and ships names of freighters and yachts.

5Expert Score
Good starter

Easy to assemble and use, the magnification is really nice for a beginner. The diagonal eyepiece has a line straight through the middle but i’ve read that can be common, it’s not required for use but disappointing! The tripod is not amazing, i have issues keeping the scope where i leave it. The dials that lock it in aren’t reliable. Got some really nice and clear images of jupiter and other things in the sky! 5 stars because it’s affordable and comes with what you need

Great telescope!

Very easy to set up, and very powerful. Almost too powerful! I don’t think i used the correct pieces when trying to look at the moon as it was soooo zoomed in. This is an upgrade from a very old telescope i have so the view i have now compared to the last telescope is amazing. I did however try to view saturn and i couldn’t for the life of me find it even though saturn is visible now to the naked eye and i could see it myself, just not through the telescope. I have to play with it more. But overall i am very happy with this purchase and for such a good price!

Excellent night sky discovery

Took it out of the box and the ‘instructions’ were as skimpy as expected but its a few pieces easily put together in under 10 minutes. It is a bit flimsier (very lightweight) than expected but i bought it for a 10 year old who is ok with ease of portability. She loves it. She is out on the deck wirh the constellation & beginner telescope books (purchased separately). It took us a while to get it to clearly focus, but once it did. Wow! The clarity is unreal for a basic beginner scope.
Unforrunately, we have had few really clear nights but she captured the last supermoon by herself with my samsung s22 (better phone attachment also purchased separately).
The phone attachment that came with the telescope took us a while to figure out how to attach (no instructions). And we used one of my more sturdy professional tripods.
Its a great beginner scope.
Our backyard is too brightly lit with lighted paths and deck lights to really appreciate the night sky, but we plan to put it in its very nice carry bag and go to parks & neighboring mountain ranges. She loves discovering the constellations. Am happy with the magnifier, zoom & clarity and would definitely recommend for an enthusiastic child beginner.

Good features for the price

Good starter telescope. Takes a little time to find objects in the sky at first and get them focused in but after you do it a few times it gets easier. Has decent images once focused in. Using the cell phone attachment can be tough because the weight of it and the phone will throw the telescope out of alignment.
Overall good telescope for the money.

4Expert Score
Not to bad

We ordered this to be able to look at the moon. So far it’s not bad. It’s a little hard to keep in one place. When tighten down, it doesn’t stay in place. Making it hard to keep it centered. The instructions are not completely clear. But once it’s figured out and you get ur sights on the beauty of the moon, it’s a great product.

4Expert Score
Easy to use

I got this product because i have always been interested in astronomy and my husband and i thought it would be fun to see the moon and stars and planets. This one had good reviews and we got it on sale for a good price. It was easy to put together and to use. The view is pretty clear but we have had mostly cloudy evenings since we got it so we are hoping for clearer nights to be able to see the stars. It is a good telescope for beginners. The only issue we have is the phone mount. The weight of the phone keeps moving it out of focus so we have not yet figured out how to compensate for it.

4Expert Score
Very good quality, trouble aligning the two different scopes

It’s really light and portable, powerful, so fun to see such detail on the surface of the moon! So far we haven’t had luck with the smaller scope aligning with the big one – you’re supposed to line up what you want to see in the small scope (easier to find the thing you want to see) and then look right at it through the more powerful lense – but they don’t align. Still working on it.

4Expert Score
Needs replacement parts

Took it out to the mountains it couldn’t handle the wind at all its a great telescope just needs a lot of replacements like the mount its plastic not good at all and change diagonal and get better eyepieces youll be fine. I figure buying all the replacement parts isnt to bad because i could always use those parts on another telescope once i decide to get something else.

4Expert Score
Easy to use

Astronomy and stargazing was something my son has been interested in. So, we brought this for his 12th birthday. He has had it for a few days and still adjusting but hes really enjoying it. I am really happy we brought it. It gives breaks from video games and the phone.

4Expert Score
Simple to setup and fantastically portable!

Definitely a starter telescope that could be improved in some ways, but overall a fantastic product. Saw the moon on my first try with such vivid details! No detailed instructions on how to set up the camera addition, and the legs are definitely very wobbly. Those don’t take away from the value of the telescope itself. For this price point, it’s very impressive.

4Expert Score
Great gift!

I received this as a gift to look at the stars at our lake cottage. I am very happy with it. I don’t know a lot about telescopes and just really wanted it to get a better view of the night sky.

4Expert Score
Good portable beginner telescope

The optics are decent, and the setup was easy and not time-consuming. The tripod is lightweight, making it easy to transport yet, flimsy causing it to shake easily.
