Easy to assemble. Took me less than 10 min. Tripod is flexible, good for both adult and kids use. The telescope is kind of light which made me a bit concerned at first. But it doesn’t affect its functionality at all- it has multiple eyepieces and offers a bright, wide view. Exceed expectations with this price. Actually it’ll be perfect for birdwatching as it’s so easy to carry around everywhere with the travel bag that came with it.

It’s a doddle! Totally without any additional tools i can install the telescope only 5 or even 4 steps. There is no need to read the instructions at all. Although their manual guide looks really well-designed. That birding guide is really an unexpected surprise. Really clever design. It aroused my interest in birding. I have already used it for moon observing. But for better use, it needs to stay away from light pollution. I think i’m going to add such a new addition to my list of camping items for the summer.

I’m not looking for a super fancy, but a starter one for my son. This one comes in good shape quality and my son loves it.

This telescope is excellent for beginners. I use it to observe the moon at night, and the picture is spectacular. I could also attach the smartphone to it to capture those night sky events on my phone. Assembling is easy. It’s sturdy and portable, so it’s also a great choice if you want to use it outside.

The package arrived in good condition. The telescope, the tripod, and other accessories are well packed in the storage bag. Assembling is very easy, and it only took me around 10 mins to set it up. The view is excellent, and it’s really worth the price.

She wants to use this every-night now. Its a great little starting scope. I recommend it for anyone looking to being their adventure in searching the sky. I gave her a few books with this on her birthday. She is always wanting to use it.

i enjoy that i don’t need to dig into the tool box in order to assemble this, because i am very much not tech savvy. I enjoy that i can adjust the height in order to sit and observe for long periods as well as have the function of being able to attach my phone in order to capture photos. I’ve only got to do so once because the last few weekends have been storming in my area, however i am excited for august when the perseids hit the sky. I’ve always wanted a telescope but they have always been so bulky and i’ve lived in the city most of my life, so carrying the heavier telescopes would be too much. I like that this is not heavy in weight so i can go to somewhere with less light pollution. I also like that my kid can also use it because it’s kid friendly.

This telescope certainly looks impressive and the grand-kids were in awe! It arrived very nicely packaged will all the components cushioned and bagged separately. Putting it fully together was a bit of a jig-saw puzzle, but the directions were simple and straightforward. It did take upwards of 30 minutes to get it fully ready, so i recommend unpacking it all and preparing the telescope before venturing out to the wild. It travels very well in a padded zippered case with compartments and securing latches to velcro the different components into place. Once we arrived we had the chance to reassemble it in the daylight and it went much smoother and easier the second time around.

***update, the company reached out to us and made things right. A new telescope was sent out and they made sure that the packaging was sent better and it seems as though the tripod has even been updated to be more sturdy. Very impressed with the company and their willingness to make things right with us.
My son was so happy to have a telescope again cause he had kinda given up hope.

my son loved this telescope was super easy to set up and use, but once he got it set up he realized that the tripod stand was broken. Happened in delivery cause the box came delivered pretty beat up. We ordered another one and the box came the same way and as soon as we opened the box the tripod stand was broken in the exact same spots. We are really sad cause the telescope itself was very nice and easy to use. But we dont dare go through the process to purchase another one. We will spebd our money somewhere else. Maybe with such a fragile item the seller needs to add fragile to the box.

This telescope offers and excellent magnification of both objects in the sky and on land, and is relatively easy to use for beginners. However, the tripod is so wobbly and unstable that i had to remove a star. Even the slightest breeze or bump will knock it completely off and you will loose sight of what you’re looking at trying to refocus.

The nicest thing about it is the ability to connect your cellphone in a stand to the lens so you can take pictures of whatever you’re zooming in on. We’ve taken some interesting snaps of the moon and birds up in the trees. Once again though the instability of the tripod becomes a real barrier to getting a clear shot.

With a great deal of patience this is a usable working telescope for a reasonable price, but the wobbliness could easily deter someone from using it.

Obviously this isn’t a super high tech machine, but it’s not half bad for what it is. It’s not overly complicated to set up or operate, as it’s designed for children. But it’s still strong enough to pull up jupiter this weekend and see the moons nearby. I’ve seen saturn’s rings with it. I’ve looked for meteors without success. I’ve always wanted a telescope and didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a fancy one since i don’t really know what i’m doing yet. I think this is a good one to learn on and eventually i may upgrade to something fancier. Good value for the price and giftable. Would buy again.

The microscope piece itself, although lightweight, is what weighs the most. The tripod seems to be made of lightweight aluminum, but i didn’t experience any issues with stability. I appreciate all of the attachments and dust caps to keep the lenses protected. It took a bit of adjustments to get a good focus and view. Kids may struggle a bit without adult assistance until they get the hang of it. I think the price is a bit too high for this quality, but it’s a good telescope to start with.

Very good image quality in a lightweight telescope system. It easily and quickly breaks down for travel. And the included travel case keeps everything well protected for casual use. It also comes with big, easy to read instructions, and a booklet on bird watching. Which is perfect, as we get lots of cool birds here in the country.

There’s a simple attachment included for using a phone camera, and it will accommodate a dslr with the proper adapter.

If there is a shortcoming, it would have to be the tripod. It is weak for the higher levels of magnification, where the slightest movement bounces your view all over the place.

The telescope has standard tripod thread mounts in the baseplate. So it can be used with a more robust tripod. Because a good tripod can set you back a lot more than this whole package, i don’t really hold that against this beginner set.
