I just got it tonight and i am already excited to continue expanding my penny collection. It is a really cool book and the penny that i received was awesome considering it was a cool gift because i had just gotten back from visiting the aquarium.

Just got back from disney world. My 11 year old daughter has collected a lot of pressed pennies while we were there.

They had books but nothing she was interested in so we came to amazon and found the penny journal. With all the colors they offer, the journal she could write her memories of our trip down in, the penny journal was the penny book she needed.

I bought this for my daughter-in-law who collects the smash penny coins. She loves the teal color and having the memory section to write about the places she visits to go along with the souvenir smash coins and she also liked having more than one size coin holder pocket.

When i received my penny press journal it was even better than expected! Needed a larger book to hold my collection together so i also ordered additional penny holder pages. Exactly what we needed for our collection

I’ve been ‘collecting’ (sporadically) squished pennies since elementary school, but never had a cool way to keep track of them or display them. Now, i finally do, and it’s awesome! Real leather, lots of storage for pennies, plenty of room to write about them, and the ability to add more ‘pages’ as i need. Shipping was super fast too! Thanks for such an awesome product!

Nice looking book. The only problem so far is that the pockets for the coins are a little small. Some of my pennies were pressed wider than others and didn’t really want to fit in pocket. I ended up ripping a few edge’s on some of them. Overall a nice book.

Pressed pennies are my collectible of choice; they take up little space and the art is fun. I have six pressed penny books of various sizes and wanted to store them all together in something akin to what coin collectors use when i found this product.

While i really like the portfolio, the plastic sleeves are made of that stiff, shiny, crunchy plastic that easily cracks along the edges. I’ve got about half a dozen pages that broke thru the seams just putting the coins in. It’s a given that pennies don’t squash evenly, and it’s a very tight fit for many of the coins. I had to put a couple into the pressed quarter slots so they’d fit.

I bought a second set of sleeves, mainly because i have so many pressed pennies, but i just bought an additional set in case these start cracking with age or use. I might end up having to replace them with less rigid coin sleeves, which i don’t want to do since they probably won’t fit right.

While the book insert is cute, i took it out since it’s of no use to me. A solid 4.

Well made product. The penny slots are snug and almost too small for some of my pennies but overall a great way to store them. Somehow the original item was returned to sender and it took almost a month to actually receive this. During the whole process the vender said it was delivered and worked with me directly. Ultimately there is not another product out there like this one. So if you can deal with the wait and shipping issues i’d recommend it
