Can it be used in dominican republic? What will be the monthly fee?
Is it possible to have this always turned on while attached to my scooter, but only activate the gps service if my scooter is stolen?
you cannot activate the device unless you have it in your hands. If the device is in your stolen car there is no way to activate it. So it is useless to purchased the device in the hope that if your car gets stolen you can activate it after the fact. This will not work.
How long will battery last on one charge?
Will this work were there are no roads? Say 25 square acre’s of farm land?
Is service available for multiple dogs?
Will these work on school buses? We have 11 buses and would like to have one on each bus? Do they hold a charge for a long period of time?
yes these trackers work very well on school buses and you can send a link to the parents so they can see where the bus is at any time. Battery can last up to 3 days or up to 2 weeks with extended battery. Also you can plug it to any usb power source on the bus so you never have to worry about charging the battery.
I need the waterproof silicone case for this anyone
Does it have to be ‘turned on’ or is it always activated when the battery is charged?
Once i attach it to my car can i change the pings from 1 to 5 min? Of do i do the setup before i attach it
all these ping settings are via the app and can be changed at any time on-the-fly.
The longer the time in minutes, the longer the batter will last.
Tiene la posibilidad de pagar plan anual?
If i used this on a bicycle; how good is the ‘real time’ tracking?? How often does the gps refresh & how accurate is the proximity range?
Can you manually request a location update while its in sleep mode? Or can you take it out of sleep mode from the app or do you have to have the unit
To save on battery life can i turn it on and off from phone app and only track when vehicle is being used
you can save on battery by keeping the tracking increments to ‘no tracking’ and set up the ‘move alert’. As soon as device gives you an alert that its moving, you can then change the tracking to 1, 2 or as many minutes as you want tracking. Once the car is not moving anymore you can then set the tracking to ‘no tracking’ again and save in battery this way. You can also save on battery but using the battery save mode, whereby the device goes to sleep at specific increments and only wakes up once if you hours. However once the device goes to sleep you have no way to turn it on until it wakes up by itself after the predetermined hours.
Hola, lo puedo usar en peru?
Will this continue to work in the usa after feb 2022? When 3g will be shut down?
yes, tracki will continue to work past february 2022 and if for some reason something will change we will replace the device for free immediately, no questions asked.
En la compra se puede incluir el accesorio asin b07yvnv82v??, cuál es el precio??
Will this work on gps when there is no cell service. Will the sos still work.
when there is no cell service, gps locations will be stored on the device and gps history will be reported once cell signal is established again. Sos will not be reported real time if there is no cell signal. Best regards
How small of a geofence can create ?
the smallest size which you can create for a geo-fence is 500 feet x 500 feet which is 150 meter x 150meter
I do not need live coverage, just a way to track history. Can this be used without cellular service? What fees would still apply?
tracki is a real time gps tracker and that’s the only way it could be used. Sorry, but it cannot work without cellular.
Can i attach it to an extended battery pack so it lasts longer? Meaning – will it still track while charging?
yes tracki gps tracker will work while charging no problem. You just need to make sure with the portable power pack will not stop charging once the tracker will be fully charged.

What are our customers saying?
I wanted to like this and i will start out with the only positive i can think about this product. It’s small and easy to hide.
Originally i was going to give this three stars but the negatives added up and then they updated the app and made things much worse. You can view history and set alarms on both the phone app and the web interface. However each interface has different abilities with some options on one but not the other. The maps looked similar until the phone app updated. The mess of lines when tracking history became even more unbearable as it lost the function of telling you the direction of travel on the phone app. You can export a log file but it has no real support for viewing on google earth, you loose all track lines and are stuck with random dot points. Pulling up history often limits you to pulling up a full days worth of tracking. So it’s not easy to single out a hour or two of when you knew a particular event happened or perhaps the time a particular person was driving unless you want to download the file and alter it using third party software..
Battery life was bad. If you are actually tracking a moving object it takes more power. I did stretch it out to 2.5 days once or twice but many days i had to charge it everyday. To overcome this i was going to hard wire it into the vehicle… Until they updated the app. Also note that being discrete in removing and installing it so often to charge the tracker is difficult to do. Also hard wiring it in defeats the purpose of having a small device. I even tried the low power setting turning the device off for 15 minutes then on for 5 to take a reading but it did not help much. Instructions for doing that are pretty much non existent but you can make these changes on the web interface but not the app. The app was slightly better at giving you more options for past history as long as it was in the past 24 hours. But no matter what way you checked history after a day went past you only could view full days at a time.
At it’s best this tracker can update once a minute. This is actually the slowest setting for other trackers, some update every 3 to 5 seconds. What this means is that often the track will not follow roads. I also used other trackers that easily lasted 2 full weeks vs 1 day this unit often gave me. At one minute intervals it was possible to see many stops when other people got into the car. But reducing the intervals in attempt to save battery life lost the ability to see people pull over to pick somebody up. It also makes it impossible to determine what roads were actually used. It does not track data like miles driven like others do.
In terms of functionally i had better luck with free apps on an old cell phone. Oops i dropped my phone in the car again? Silly me. The ‘magnetic mount’ is actually a magnet attached to velcro and made no sense to me. The app lost functionality after they updated it. It also changed to a very plain looking map by default that actually makes it difficult to figure out the location. You can change the view to something more viewable but it always changes itself back to the default view i dislike.
as mentioned before originally i was going to give this a three star review but ended up giving it one star for all the things i already mentioned. So how did we get to this point? I am actually giving it five stars at this point.
A representative reached out to me. He was very professional and actually appreciated my negative input. But more importantly i was under the impression that they strive to make the product better. I waited to update this review though, perhaps a little too long. I wanted to see the actions and improvements first. But yeah, customer service and attention to detail really impressed me.
So what about those improvements that i am talking about? Both the web interface and the android app received updates. The battery saving function is now available on all formats and it was simplified to set up. History can now be looked up without the cluttered mess of looking at a full day. The map now retains your preferred method of viewing it, the arrows are back indicating direction of travel. I added another photo so you can see for yourself the difference between the old app map and the new one that indicates direction of travel. The app is also less cluttered looking but at the same time gives you more available information. I no longer have to switch from the app to pc to get all features as everything is more uniform. I was told they would attempt to add even more features and i believe they will.
The unit itself is currently selling below the competitors. It accurate. The monthly fee is also below most competitors. Battery life is still somewhat of a disappointment to me. But it normally falls between what they claim. For me usually two days as this point but at times it surprises me with a third day. I can’t take a star off for this as it is in a normal variance and as advertised. However the thing with this device is that you can choose what you want. A small device that is very lightweight for a kid to carry in a backpack or…… Get the optional battery pack/water proof holder with magnetic mount. The choice is up to you. I have not used the the extended battery pack yet but it’s charging now as i write this. Although it does add size to the small tracker it does not make it any larger than the competitors in other waterproof cases. I will perhaps update after i get familiar with how well the case/extended battery works. For now though this company has completely turned my opinion around with great customer service.
i just cancelled my service. I just wanted to say that this company changed so much in the time i started to use them. I originally hated this product but it has given me piece of mind many times. The reason i cancelled it is because my kid turned 18 and has a job now. I no longer feel i should track his every movement as he is now an adult.
With the extended battery i had no problem going weeks before it needed a recharge. When the battery level dropped down to 10% i would get a low batt warning. The battery would still last about 5 days after getting the first warning (with the optional pack). The standard battery is poor though.
I found the service itself to be accurate. They added many things such as running mileage and other reports. In some areas sometimes it gives you readings of kph instead of mph despite everything being set up correctly.
Overall i am now a happy customer. Customer service always responded quickly to my concerns. Perhaps come spring time i will install this unit to track my motorcycle and get service for it turned back on but at this point it’s no longer needed.
We initially got a gps tracking device to be able to track our special needs son in the event he would go missing. We pin it to his pocket when he goes to school, when we are out and about on the weekends, and when we go out of town or on vacation. Our biggest fear is that one day he will go missing and he won’t be able to communicate to someone who he is, where he lives, what the home number is, etc. With this device and the phone app, we have piece of mind that if he ever goes missing, we will be able to find where he is at. We love the comfort of knowing where he is at that we go one for our other child who is not special needs, just in case.
We used to have another gps tracking device that we used for a number of years, but that (as many of the older gps tracking devices do) worked on the g2 network which is slowly being phased out. Over the last few years we’ve seen a lot of the functionality on that other gps tracker go away. The thought of not being able to track our son was heartbreaking for us and finding a replacement gps tracker was difficult to do because they all were using the 2g network. We finally found this tracki device and per the specs it runs on the 3g network. I was so excited when we found this we immediately ordered a set of them. I will have to say i was skeptic at first because it seemed like such a new product (we ordered ours in august and all the reviews we were able to find anywhere were only from a few months ago) but we figured we had nothing to loose, if we weren’t happy, we could cancel service. I will have to say that this device and the company have far exceeded my expectations and my experience with other devices.
The price of the device is extremely reasonable. The plans are great. Right now, since we’ve been trying it out we went with the month to month plan, but at some point we will switch to one of their yearly plans, which will save us money.
The app is still relatively new. It was released in march 2019 and they are at version 2.3. I can say that it has greatly improved and they are constantly making improvements and releasing updates. The app will get a notification for any of the triggers you setup (such as enter or leave a zone you define). If you want other people to get notified of activities, they don’t need to have the app, you can setup the app to send text messages to specific mobile numbers and you can also set it up to send e-mail to specific e-mail address. It will show you the batter life that remains for the device, and you can set it to notify you if the device hits a percent battery life so that you know it’s time to recharge the battery. The batter life is great, we go a few days without having to charge it. You can set it up to refresh location every 1, 2, 5, 10, 30 minutes or even 1, 2, or 4 hours. The app will even let you ‘ping’ the device so that it will beep. We’ve used this option a few times when the kids didn’t remember exactly where in the house they put their device. This is a great feature!! It will also let you see past history of the device movement, this might come in handy at some point if anyone goes missing.
The device has some nice features as well. It has a power button so you can turn the device off at night. Other’s don’t have this. We power them down when the kids come home, that saves batter life. It has 3 buttons, one is an sos button in case your child runs into problems, it will notify the app on the phone and let you know the sos button was pressed. It has 2 other buttons as well that you can use for whatever you want to be notified for. It comes with a clip that you can put on, so a child can clip it to their pants. It has a little ring loop that you can put a key ring on. We put a small cable tie with a safety pin so that we could pin it to our sons pockets to make it harder to take off.
You may see comments that say that the device is not accurate. I will say, based on experience on trying several gps tracking devices, they are all like that. It might not update the second you look at the app, but it will update, just give it time.
I’ve called customer support twice for help on two different items, and they were very accommodating and extremely helpful. In the ‘help – contact support’ section of the app, it has a button to ‘call support’, so they make it easy to get a hold of them when you need to.
This thing is tiny and fantastic. Buy the two year plan to save money. Maybe test it for a month or two on the per month payment. If you find it useful, go two years plan.
Good size for your kids school bag, toss it in your work tools or suitcase if traveling. A gun case when hunting, basically anything expensive or precious to you can have this keychain ornament sized tracker. The regular backplate is nice if you don’t need the magnet. It also comes with a nice silicone sleeve if your in the field.
If trying to boose time between charges, i suggest set in motion alerts with zero check in regularly. It can email or text you. If it goes off, set the report frequency to as often as possible to see where your stuff is going.
This is my second one, and we got the big battery as well, also 5* product. Thanks guys
Before i purchased the tracki device, i researched gps tracking devices for my business trailer. I read reviews for other gps and decided to go with tracki.
After recieving my tracki, i followed all activation and setup for the tracki device per the instructions provided. It was so simple!
I set my device up so if the trailer moved i’d receive a notification (to save battery life). I’m telling you, 5 seconds after moving my tracki just inches i receive a notification on my cell phone. It’s pretty darn cool!
The only thing that i don’t care for is the battery charging. I have to go to the lot every weekend to recharge the tracki, then go home to charge it for several hours and then go back to the lot to install the tracki on my trailer. It’s kind of a hassle but well worth the peace of mind to protect my business investment at all costs.
I called tracki tech support to see if there are any charging options. I spoke with vanna. She was very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. For my billing and technical support questions, vanna had the answer! No transferring me to another dept etc.. I explained to vanna my battery charging issue and she sent me another tracki device to use as a charger between charging. Now i can just make one trip to the lot and swap the battery out. Thank you vanna for your support, knowledge, and professionalism!!!
Very little set up. Just charge it, turn it on and is ready to track. Very small so is easy to carry. The “ motion” alert you only get 10 free per month. Is fairly accurate one draw back( maybe i have not found it) is it does not indicate direction of travel. You can do track history you can see the track of movement. It is very sensitive so even if you just pick it up and sit it down you will see” travel”. Battery life . A lot of people list this a a draw back, unless you have it set to track and report every minute ( it will only last 2-3 days) i have up to 7 day by setting it report every 5 min. You can use fencing to avoid being distracted by minor movements, but it will use more battery.
My wife and i used these products to keep track of our bags and ensure they were traveling with us as we moved around europe. The device is easy to set up and use and the accuracy is excellent. Because i purchased through amazon, i received a free lifetime warranty on the devices. I also appreciated that it was easy to cancel the monthly subscription in between trips so i wasn’t being charged when i was not using them.
I looked through a lot of products before i purchased this one and i’m pleased with how it performed.
Purchased this gps device to track my utility trailer. Once you receive the device, you must purchase the membership to activate it. I went with the month by month payment plan to start, until i figure out if i like this or not. I tested it out for a week or two in my wife’s car. I adjusted the settings as she drove back and forth to work in order to maximize battery life. The app is very responsive and when the device starts moving, i get an alert both on my phone and in my email. I have not used the active tracking mode much, but even without it on, the device reports its position on a pretty regular basis, or when i refresh the app. Pro of this device is how small and concealable it is. Con is that they can only fit a small battery in the small device. I may upgrade to their battery pack. I passively tracked the device using the app, and the battery lasted a little over a week with it tracking about 2 times per day. I was able to charge the battery in about 1.5 hours. The only issue i ran into was that the ‘refresh’ button on the app vanished. So i submitted a ticket and immediately received emails and phone calls from tracki to assist. Once i finally hooked up with their customer service. They were very helpful in troubleshooting the device, and even signed me up for a lifetime warranty (no extra charge). So after a few weeks of actively using this device, i would say its worth the money, and have no problems with it so far. Now that i am more comfortable with its capabilities, i will probably upgrade my plan to a multi year membership for a cheaper per month cost.
1. Accurate location
2. Great battery life
3. Rich app features
4. Easy-to-use web app interface
5. Awesome support
got the device for tracking overseas for a month, and it worked flawlessly. I charged it maybe once a week. Didn’t need it after that, but forgot to cancel the subscription, and got auto-charged. When i tried cancellation via the app, it suggested a call from tech support.
I agreed, the support called in ~15 minutes, i described my situation, and they canceled my subscription and refunded the last charge with zero hesitation.
Update : everything about this company has been awesome. Customer service especially. Today i spoke with yuki an extremely nice lady. I never seem to get kind, polite, genuinely nice people anymore anywhere. But with this company it was over the top nice and yuki continued this companies perfect record of hiring and training the perfect people to make the complaint or concern simply disappear and i end up saying goodbye and feeling like it’s saying goodbye to a friend. It’s just something i don’t experience very often. Thank you yuki very much! Update (see above)
i like everything about the product (well, i guess i would prefer that the waterproof magnet case with a bigger battery would come as a package deal) because longer battery life and water proof should just be standard. The product is easy to use. I unpacked it, charges with any android charger you have, although it does come with one. I charged it overnight and placed it on the vehicle today and followed the tracker via my cell phone on the app it tells you to download. Lots of little goodies to make the tracking more personal to the reason i was tracking. You need extra text alerts as it only comes with about 25 or so. Easy to order though and decent prices. I was driving as i spoke to customer service (manny) so i was unable to order the extra text alerts and since i was sharing my text alerts with two other people every text counts as 3 texts. Manny ordered them for me and they showed up immediately. He even called me back when the connection between us broke up. Who actually does that anymore? Call back from a customer service agent. Never, right? But manny did. Awesome customer service. I really wish i had that waterproof battery pack and magnet though as i will need to make a 5 hour drive back to the vehicle being tracked and the gas alone will cost more than the battery back, waterproof, stronger magnet case that really should be part of the original purchase. I ordered the extra battery pack, water proof, strong magnet case a few minutes ago and i’m sure i will love the product but i am not looking forward to the five hour drive just to put it on the car. So, buy the battery pack case, it’ll be worth it as you will end up buying it just like i just did. (it’s not why i purchased this product but, i can easily imagine that mothers everywhere with little kids would go crazy for this product to track their little ones home from school each day. They would simple love this product). Oh, i would really like the option of subscribing for weeks at a time instead of an entire month. It would manage the cost but would probably end up using this product for more weeks in a year than i will probably use it at it’s minimum of $20 for each month. Easier to pay $5 a pop for every week i want it than $20 for a month where i only needed it for 1 or 2 weeks. But, i really really love that if the product is lost they will replace it. I was very nervous about it falling off the car as soon as it went over so bumps. But, because of the replacement offer it made it easy to purchase and today on its maiden journey it stuck to the car like glue no matter how fast the car was driven. Just knowing that they would replace it was the key to buying this, and i guess they can offer it because it does stick so they don’t need to fulfill that promise very often. Thank you tracki! And a little child and their parent also thanks you tonight too.
I want to say, first, thank you the customer service i received from justin f. Justin was very experience in assisting me in getting the tracki app up and running on my device. Justin f. Made sure i did not pay twice on my already paid subscription service.
This is my first time using the tracki device. I purchased it to track my luggage while i’m on a cruise. I’ve done my research and read some reviews on other tracking devices. However, tracki appeared to fit the bill for what i needed it to do.
Thank you justin f.
Given the reports of lost luggage, i checked tracki devices out for a trip to australia. Most tracking devices are bluetooth, which is fine if you want to see where your luggage is in an airport, but not particularly helpful if you are in tokyo and your luggage in new york. Hence the tracki, which is a gps device. We didn’t lose our luggage, so i didn’t really need them for this trip, but they seem to work quite well. It’s a bit tricky to balance the timing of the updates – the more frequent, the shorter the battery life – but once you get the hang of it, it works. You have to buy the 30 day subscription for each device (we had 2), but you can cancel it when you don’t need it. Customer service is good – i emailed them a couple of times when i first was activating the thing, and their system was having a bad day (didn’t look like the activation went through and so i got charged 3 times), but the agent was quick to fix the issue and refunded the over charge instantly. Today i got a call confirming my cancellation and the agent leah also set up a lifetime warranty for me, which i didn’t know was free and available. Overall, a pretty neat device and good support.
Tried using this for luggage tracking and it works ok for that but isn’t as polished an experience as a dedicated luggage tracker– outside of the rubber case it was too easy to turn off accidentally and inside the case is a bit annoying to recharge, which you have to do fairly frequently depending how you have reporting set up.
With a longer interval (or ‘on request’), if you want to know where it is outside of a report interval, it seems both your phone and the tracki need to be online and located at the same time for this to work. This is not always the case in airports and train stations where gps & phone coverage for a tracker buried in a pile of luggage being carted around is spotty. Lower the intervals for better chances to catch a network/gps location and battery life can drop to a day or less (they are upfront about this… It is what it is, but i’d think a tracker knowing it’s in this kind of environment could do smarter things with network availability and/or an accelerometer).
When it does locate, accuracy and tracking are spot-on for gps, within a hundred yards or so for wifi, as expected and their app provides a nice map and satellite views. (i’m not sure there’s an accelerometer in there as the ‘battery saver when to moving’ option seems to need gps to decide its moved, which is a problem indoors.)
i don’t know if lte triangulation is a thing like it was for gsm but this just uses wifi and gps for location. I also couldn’t get the bluetooth location to work, although i didn’t try very hard. [update: tracki support says bluetooth is ‘being worked on and should be available in the next few weeks’. ]
At the beginning i was having some issues but it took reading the instructions and watching the videos over and over to get the grasp of it all. Setting the intervals are highly important if you want accuracy and a frequent update of the tracki’s location. Sometimes the intervals change but i found out that if the tracking is still then it will change how often it updates the location. A few times i had to check to make sure the ‘battery saver when not moving’ was ‘off’ because it kept automatically switching to ‘on’, but after i started saving it twice on the same page that stopped. Good features: when the tracki is able to pick up a gps signal, you get either close or exact accuracy of location; my daughter home i’m tracking can press the sos button if there is ever an emergency;
I received the unit on saturday afternoon and went for a bike ride around a golf course (very little trees) and placed in a plastic cup holder point face up to the sky to record at 1 minute intervals. I came home and it tracked me perfectly saying it had 78% battery. Sunday i went for a ride and it didn’t track me at all . I assume this was the battery level at at 9-10%. So i charged it up to 25% (a few hours of charging) went for a ride. It reported me at a couple of places on the same golf course trip. Maybe it was weather, maybe something else but i put it on charger over night. In the morning the red light was on solid (stating full charge). It shown 100% full on charger but as soon as i disconnected it from charger it said 97%. I went on my ride at 7 am on same golf course path. I came home and the map shown scribbles like it took random readings at random times – not following my path. I contacted tech support who gave me reboot instructions which sounded valid (maybe the unit has something cached – lets discharge it and let it sync back up). So i shut down the unit , took out battery for 2 minutes (more like 10 but they said 2), put it back in, turn it on, let it sit in direct line of sight to the sky for 20 minutes. I checked it 30 minutes later and it reported location (gps) and battery 86%. I went for a ride. I looked at it a ta few stops near my house and it reported right. I went for my ride and came back and again it missed my golf course path i ride, the one that reported correctly on saturday. I contacted tech support again. They told me it could be the weather, building could be blocking it (not on a golf course) , don’t put it in a box (is a plastic cup holder a box?), weak cell tower signals, etc.
I can see those being real valid points. I just don’t get why it got exponentially worse. The tech support guy did try to help but i don’t think this is device is strong enough to do what it claims. If i can use my phone (google maps) to show me where i am, and this device (set at 1 minute interval) reports randomly between 1 and 30 minutes (unless the battery is low). Even an inaccurate reading somewhere on the path would be acceptable. I wanted to use this for protecting my bike. But if someone stole it, chances are the last reading of my bike would be at my house. I bought this based on lowest price and lower subscription rate. I need to purchase something a little more expensive it appears.
Big plus – this unit is thesis of a small box of matches
everything else just didn’t live up to its reported hype (except on day 1)
edit – they did refund me back the 2 year subscription i purchased but deducted $24 for 1 month of use although i used it 2 days and cancelled due to its inability to function. Be careful dealing with this company
update (june 21):
the company reached out to me and was genuinely concerned about my issue. After a discussion, they generously reactivated my account to work my problem. I provided information (screenshots show my path my phone tracked me and the tracki device) and other data. The immediately responded and confirmed ‘something up with my device’ and are sending a replacement.
Customer service is awesome. Bumping rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. Once i get replacement and it works, this will be 5 stars
*they really do care about their product
had the new unit and did a recharge. Rode around. It works as advertised. The tracki team (jared and kris) were awesome with supporting me. Totally concerned that i am 100% satisfied
*my first unit was just damaged – the replacement works all of the time, is accurate, and charges fast
i bought this for an electric bike i own – and i hid it on the bike. If it get taken, the unsuspecting villain will have police on them fast.
Thanks tracki team!!!!!
I really wished this would work. I bought this product to slip into my packed household goods shipped with movers. A few days before, i tested this in the two modes available, battery saver mode and active tracking mode.
Battery saver mode turns on for 5 minutes to check in with available cell phone towers and wifi networks to ping a location before shutting off again in different available time intervals.
Active saver mode is just that, tracks your item actively in different available time periods.
In active mode, this thing did an okay job at tracking me. In battery saver mode, it seemed to skip updating it’s location at it’s selected time intervals. This seemed to happen when the sensor was in the same location since it’s last update.
I stuck this tracker in a box and had it in passive tracking mode when the movers picked my stuff up. The next day, i switched it to active tracking but it seems the tracker is completely unable to ping anything. I have no idea where my stuff is now, it’s been five days.
i’ve cancelled the $20/monthly subscription. My moving company confirmed my stuff was on the road and my gps tracker still has not updated.
really greay customer service. They took the time to call me to find out more information about my issues. The tracker is not intended to be used in how i employed it which is disappointing. The customer service representative, jared, was very receptive to my feedback to ensure the product description is updated. I didn’t expect to get a refund on my subscription but they went the extra mile to give me my money back and also give me complimentary access for a limited time.
Bottom line up front: the product works in very specific applications but the customer service is fantastic.
I got this to put on my mom’s cane because she has dementia and started wandering. We needed some kind of tracking device for about 6 weeks until we could get her moved to a memory care facility. It worked fairly well but sometimes it couldn’t connect to the satellite, sometimes it said she was two streets over when she was sitting right next to me. When i contacted tech support they were somewhat helpful within 24 or 36 hours. I appreciate they are constantly trying to make it better and be more accurate.
I bought this to keep an eye on my bike while flying to/from europe this summer. Between gps and wifi triangulation, it did a pretty good job, even inside airports. Onboard battery is tiny and only good for a couple days of tracking at low/average settings. My only real issue is there’s no way to cancel/suspend service without a callback (overseas number with no caller id) and dealing with someone. It appears you can do this via a chat option but that also resulted in a call, while hiking in the rockies, asking for numbers from my amazon order?!?! Told her to cancel or i would have the damn charge refused… Seems to have worked
Here is something you might want to know, because i did not. Tracki claims if your tracking device becomes lost or stolen, they will replace it for free. Unfortunately my daughter’s was stolen and i had a 2 year service activated with them. I’ve reached out 3 times, each time being told i would be responded to within 24 hours. All i need is for them to transfer my subscription to the new tracki i purchased. They would receive 5 stars then, because the app and trackers work amazingly well.
It’s good the battery life sucks it says 2 weeks it lasts nope not at all 2 days then you got to take it out the car and charge it but everything else about it is good i wish the battery life last a little long that’s it
Used in luggage on european viking river cruise. Sometimes slow to update/acquire satellites (showing a unit where it was the day before), battery would last for about 2 days but recharge quickly, app had 3 times as many features as i needed, tech support quickly responsive to stupid questions.
