i originally gave this product one star simply because i had an allergic reaction that i am fully aware does not happen to most people but i wanted to give warning. After my review, customer service reached out to me and went above and beyond to get to the root of the problem, even sending me the full list of ingredients in the hopes that i could identify the ingredient that was the problem. They even offered to send a different product at no cost, if i was interested. I’m happy to report that after trying the hyaluronic acid serum, i’ve had zero issues…no allergic reactions. I’m so happy to know that it isn’t this product line, but simply the one specific product that was just not suited for me.

This is a great company and i would recommend trying their products and certainly reaching out to them with any issues. They are very responsive and understanding and really care about the customer.

Original review: patch test was fine. Then after one use on my face and neck this was the result. Ended up in urgent care getting a steroid shot after 3 days of skin not getting better. Skin was dry and inflamed, eyelids were swollen and i didn’t even put it near my eyes, the heat was like a major sunburn.

I will post more pics when i notice a more significant change. I wanted to address the myth i’ve seen blasted all over the reviews posted here.
I have heard for a long time that vitamin c and retinol cannot be used together. That they cancel each other out. It’s completely untrue. My problem is that i’ve heard it so many times. I believed it to be fact regardless of the sources i heard it from. Which is basically word of mouth by other women who do not hold a dermatological degree of any sort. I did my own research. And actual skin care experts that hold a degree say the opposite. Retinol can be used with vitamin c products. Successfully. They don’t cancel each other out. They work beautifully together. And vitamin c actually helps retinol work better by stabilizing it and extending its effectiveness. It turns out that using retinol without vitamin c or any other potent antioxidant is keeping your skin from reaping all the benefits of using retinol!!! Which is why this serum is so important in your skin care regimen. You know all those expensive anti aging moisturizers you’ve been blowing your money on? Well……..without using this serum or any other serum close to this that has vitamin c in it prior makes your fancy skin cream ineffective. And we all want to get the most out of the money we spend to make our skin look fabulous. Don’t we?
I’ve also seen reviews on here about this product complaining about the color change in the serum. Did they not read about the product? I states very clearly that it’s normal to see variations of color. Clear or cloudy. All depending on the time of the year the ingredients are harvested contribute. And it is very clearly addressed in the description of this product. Pretty much cancelling out any of the bad reviews made on this product.
Ladies. If you want to make the most out of your skin care products. Read up on them first. That’s why the info is there. So if anyone has any complaints on this product. They are not using it correctly!!!!!

I smoked heavily for over 20 years(quit january 2017) and drank pretty bad too for 13 years before i got sober 7 years ago. My skin was terrible!!!! I have absolutely no makeup on. Just moisturizer and carmex lip balm. I use this product with a retinol moisturizer. I also take collagen daily as well. Hopefully this review helps clear up the myths of using certain anti aging products together. And their (in)effectiveness. Us ladies gotta stick together in this war on aging and kick some wrinkle butt!!!! Lol!!!!

I really like this vitamin c oil. I definitely notice the dark spots on my face fading. Very happy with results. This was recommended by someone at a makeup counter while i was browsing at other brands. Has not been drying on my face. Scent is not even noticeable and i have suffered no sensitivity issues which i can be prone to. Price is also a good selling point.

I love this facial serum. It has really helped even out the texture of my skin. I can definitely see a difference in my skin tone also. I use it everyday on my face and neck. It’s very moisturizing, my skin feels so good after using it. I also sometimes use it as a primer before applying foundation. I will always have this on hand!

Bought this product after reading that it could help with malasma after my pregnancies. Been using once a day for a month and while the malasma isn’t gone completely, the serum has greatly reduced the appearance of it and made my skin look so bright and clear, also. Definitely happy with my purchase and would recommend !!

Every time i wash my face in the morning, i always say i’m going to go back in my amazon app and write a review and finally here it is lol….. I am a 33 yr old african american woman with acne like a teenager. I tried all types of washes, creams, moisturizers, expensive facials, dermatologist visits, proactive, everything. The last person who did my facial recommended a $10 face wash called panoxyl and that helped a lot. But when i bought this vitamin c serum and used it with the panoxyl, a toner, and applying this serum last, after about 2-3 weeks, my face literally started clearing up. I mean the acne scars are fading and disappearing. I will be ordering so much more of this serum because it definitely works. And no one is paying me for this review, heck, they need to let me be a spokeswoman for their brand because my face is proof it works. Buy it and try it. Not everything works for everyone but it worked for me

I read that this helps with forehead lines and while i failed to take before photos, i do feel it has reduced the lines . I also used this on some scars i have as a result of surgery and so far i feel like it is reducing the look of the scars. I plan to continue to use this and see
how much i can improve the scars. I feel it is a good product.

I have both the vitamin c and hyaluronic acid serums. My boyfriend was sharing that he is insecure about his dark circles so i decided to do a facial on him and used these serums. That night when he went into work, he was asked if he’s wearing makeup because his skin looked noticeably brighter and plump. Now he asks me almost daily to use the serums. The customer support was amazing too. They answered right away and address my skin concerns. I was able to get off of tretinoin and have dewy healthy skin that is so moisturized. 1000/10 recommend! I cannot wait to buy more!

I seldomly leave reviews becuse i am super busy with life/work/babies but i to drop my opinion on this product: i never really used anything on my face up until i had kids and turned 33. I have used this for three months and it is amazing. My skin feels & looks so much better. I put it on after i wash my face in the morning and at night, seven days a week. Highly recommend this product.

We purchased the truskin vitamin c serum for face for a relative of ours (over age 65) who has not taken care of his facial skin for probably forever and as a result (at least partly as a result one presumes) he’s got a whopping case of rosacea.

His face resembles a red tomato. He’s tried all sorts of stuff to bring the redness down with not much luck. We read in the amazon reviews of this product there was a woman who said she had good luck in using it to “cure” her rosacea issue. I doubt it “cured” that issue it but suspect it went a long way to getting it under control.

So our friend starts using this product as directed on his face twice per day, morning and night (followed by a vitamin c based re hydrating lotion) and i’ll be damned but within 2 days the redness on his face had been reduced by maybe 75 to 80% or so.

Pretty amazing. Equally interesting, his facial color seems to have “smoothed out” for lack of a better phrase. The facial color, sans a whole bunch of redness was much more evenly spread out on his face as opposed to before where all the red blotches were uneven in color and in their location on his face.

He is a believer now and will probably be using this stuff on his face until he goes off to meet jesus. Anyways, i consider that a hell of a success story for $20 bucks and using just a few drops morning and night.

I bought this for my daughter to add to her daily beauty regime. She has acne on her forehead and i’s read somewhere that this was good to help treat acne. I honestly don’t know if its helping or not because it’s part of her routine and she uses 3 other products between morning and night. I personally have used this as part of my daily beauty routine and i love it! Great product to add to your beauty routine!!

Ok, i have been using for a month and it is very subjective. I feel like it is doing something but it is hard to tell. I feel like my skin feels better when i use it, but no huge noticeable change.

Was skeptical, but after seeing how many reviews and reading mostly all of them i decided to give it a try. With the first use within 20 minutes afterwards i accidentally brushed my hand against my face unintentionally and was amazed at how soft and amazing my skin felt and looked. Such a great product please don’t sleep on this one ladies. I use it on my hands and face and neck and it is doing great thanks for me.

I really haven’t noticed any difference one way or another but have only started using this product 8 days ago. Will give it some time to be fair.

I don’t look any younger, but i didn’t expect to. The minimal amount you apply makes it a good buy for the cost. I don’t feel it moisturizes but i like the way it makes my skin feel. And the product advises you to follow up with a moisturizer, which i do. It truly depends on the condition of your skin prior to use. It’s not a miracle in a bottle but i feel i am getting my money’s worth and maybe it will maintain my skins condition and prevent further aging. A lot depends on what your starting with, i can’t expect forty years of minimal care to be repaired in a few short weeks. I’d say yes i will probably purchase it again and that’s a pretty good endorsement!

I could see a difference after just afew times using this product . I really like it a lot.

So disappointing the smell is different from the 1st one i ordered. I don’t like the way it feels on my face. I was very pleased with my 1st order.

Good for my dry skin

So after using this product for one week, i can safely say this product did not bother my skin with a rash, itching or a breakout. What i cannot say is if it’s actually helping my skin. After application my skin feels a little tighter, but maybe that’s just the product drying. As for odor, i don’t really notice any type of smell at all, which is great! I will continue to use and try to update with real results later.
