I was always using affresh cleaning tablets for my washing machine and saw these tablets on a prime day sale and figured what the heck and gave them a try. First it is nice to have a hand written note inside the package, that is a nice touch that a lot of companies have lost so great job on that. Second, i have never had my affresh tablets clean as great as these tablets did to my washer.

I have a 5 year old lg front load washer that i meticulously clean and even go as far as taking the front bladder out to clean it out and the hose too. The affresh tablets would make the machine smell clean for 24 hours and then you would smell a little bit of the musty smell from the machine. I always wipe the entire machine dry after each cycle and ran a tablet every month as well as clean out the filter out but it was never enough.

I just tried these new active cleaning tablets and wow. The glass on the door has never been so smooth from removing the soap scum and hard water off of it, the drum is as shiny as a mirror and i actually had a clump of scum come out and get captured into the filter on the machine. I have never had the door glass come so clean that it is smooth nor has the drum ever been so clean. The amount of suds when the tablet was cleaning was far higher than the old affresh tablet would ever do but to me that is a sign of the tablet actually doing it’s job. Affresh would only make a little bit of suds and it would disappear as soon as the drum stopped turning.

For how everything turned out on my first time using these new tablets i can say i am never going back to the affresh brand tablets and am honestly going to use up the affresh tablets i have for my dishwasher and give the active cleaning tablets a try for my dishwasher too!

These work very well! I was a little apprehensive due to their affordable price point, of course, they were on sale and the least expensive they had ever been on amazon.com so i pounced and purchased two sets. I’m glad i did, i put one tablet in my washer and hit the tub clean button and my machine and this little magic tablet did the rest! This is just maintenance as i’ve always taken care of my washing machine but it leaves my machine sparkling clean after every use. By the way, i use one tablet twice a month, so basically, on the 15th and 30th of the month, i clean the washing machine’s tub this helps me avoid costly repairs and musty or moldy odors that plague some front-load dishwashers, luckily i have avoided that and in the 20 plus years, i’ve been using a front-loader i’ve never encountered that problem. I have a water softener, so i was concerned these may be too powerful because there is so much foam/suds, etc when i use these but it’s not a problem as all the foam/suds, etc are rinsed away. I used to clean our washer tub manually with dish soap and scrub with sponge but it didn’t really do a good job. I still knew that deep inside it is disgusting but i don’t wanna take our washer apart. Our laundry would never smell that good even after using softeners (which i stopped using eventually cause apparently it’s not good for the clothes). I saw this as an ad on youtube when i was looking for a way to fix our dryer (p.s never fixed our dryer anyway, had to buy a new one lol). I decided to give it a try since we never really descaled the washer ever since we moved here in 2017. I noticed the huuugeee difference after two deep cleans. Our laundry smelllsss soooo damn good even after only using a small amount of detergent. You guys should try this! I still clean the tub here and there when i see gunk but now it’s less effort to clean it!

I had been noticing an odor on towels mainly, when moving them from the washer to the dryer. That problem seems to be solved now by using the active tablet.

The instructions on the box indicate — run the washer on ‘normal’ cycle using hot water or use the ‘clean washer’ cycle if available. My washer is a kenmore he front loader that’s about 15 years old. For some reason if i run the ‘clean washer’ cycle it leaks at the bottom into the pedestal drawer and slightly onto the floor. It actually has done this before without using this product. So, when it did this i tried stopping the clean cycle but that can take a few minutes. Then i ran it again with a tablet on the normal cycle and it worked perfectly.

There is a card in the box showing other active products. I probably will get at least the dishwasher cleaner and the disposal cleaner as well.

Don’t shy away from this based on the low price. I love that you get a year’s supply for a really cost-effective price. I put reminders in my calendar for every two weeks.

And it works! We have a combo washer/dryer in our motorhome. I was having real problems with my washer draining and, therefore, taking upwards of 6 hours to dry a load of clothes. Decided it was probably accumulated cat hair (and my hair). I ran this cleaner on my washer’s clean cycle, wiped it out thoroughly after the cycle completed and my next load drained like a charm.

I like this product so much that i’m going to order the dishwasher version. And the handwritten thank you note is a really nice touch!

I seen this advertised on tiktok which is what lead me to this purchase but i am a consumer who does their research before hand. I dont order everything i see on tiktok being that not everything works as it’s intended to. Now in terms of usage this was super easy to use we have a top loader and that thing sees 5 people’s worth of laundry daily thru out the week. We have yet to use a cleaner in it unless you count vinegar in a load otherwise we’ve had the washer for about a year and some change and i’ve been investing in cleaning our appliances over the past year so why not the washer. In using this it did exactly what it needed to do and it never looked so completely cleaned. I mean it made me wish there was one for the dryer, the lintel trap, the outside, the everything. It looked so completely clean. That was one time your suppose to use this twice a month i believe i’m sold off one time. Will def be making regularly yearly purchases for sure.

While i couldn’t see what it was cleaning i know it was doing something. While my washer was running i smelled something that could’ve woken your dead granny. Good lord it was terrible. With a toddler and a puppy running around i thought someone had made a mess somewhere. Nope. It was my washer. After the washer had ran it’s cycle there was no lingering smell it was whatever the hell was built up in the drum i assume. There was all kinds of floaters in the water. I should’ve taken a picture but then again i don’t want that proof on the internet that my washer was that bad lol.

Our washer had such a disgusting smile when we moved in this house. :-/ at first i just tried doing bleach washes and they didn’t work. I did try affresh because it was in my grocery store and it didn’t work. 5 months later…. When i saw a person who cleans washers and dryers for a living take apart a washer before & after using this i thought i have nothing to lose with free returns for buying it on here.

I know it’s hard reading reviews and wondering what it’s worth spending your money on. But i could not be more honest or excited that i wish you would take the chance because honestly the smell in our washer was sooo gross and the fact that it was gone is amazing!

Probably the best washing machine cleaner i’ve ever used. I’m big on monthly, sometime bi-weekly cleans. And this product has surpassed my expectations. When i first received it, i read the instructions and decided to do 2 cleans. First cycle the mildew smell was gone and i could see a little glob of gook at the bottom of the basin. I just used a paper towel to remove it and started the second cycle. When it was finished i took some of the removable items apart and could see just how well my new favorite cleaner did the job. World of difference from the affresh tablets. My clothes always come out cleaner and smell so much better. I’m using less fabric softner and other odor killing agents because i don’t need them.

I used to always purchase the brand name kind, that comes in a three pack for $10.00, however it was always over scented and while it did a great job, i’m sort of habitual when it comes to ‘washing’ my washing machine. We like to use the scent booster beads, so i tend to run a washing machine cleaner in my machine more than every 30 days. This package, the tabs are small, but super effective!!! And they are meant to use them every two weeks, which is perfect. For the price too, it’s way more for your $ with a whole year supply! And i don’t notice a scent which is a major bonus as we’re not trying to mask a smell, just make the smells go away. The hand written thank you note in the package was also a major bonus. It’s small things like that, that makes someone feel appreciated for buying a quality product. I’m going to continue buying these cleaning tablets forever!

I needed my washing machine cleaned. We have very soft water and it leaves a film and sometimes smells soured. This takes care of that with one wash. Use it once a month.

How can you really tell if this is working? I really can’t, but i’m faithfully using a tablet with hot water in my top loader each month. We have hard well water and while i don’t think the mineral-rich water stinks, i do think sediment settles in the washer drum and this stuff helps to remove it. To me, worth the money to get a septic-safe product that cleans away the gunk.

Didn’t clean my hubs motor oil stains from the washer so i’m going to say not good for me, but maybe less staining it is good.

Cleans but do an extra rinse as if you try to do a load after your clothes will have white stuff on it

I originally bought this because of a tiktok video i saw which in the video the man took the whole tub out of the washer twice just to show that these tablets really work. I did not do that all i can say is that it did leave the inside of the tub smelling so good the only suggestion i have is that they change their packaging the tablets are individually wrapped and resemble a piece of candy so if you have little kids i do not suggest leaving these in sight i would lock them up because little kids cannot read and could easily mistake these for a piece of candy.

They work, but i wish they did a little better

Every time i would open my washer, it would smell kind of moldy. The first time i used these washing machine cleaners, my washer smelled so much better, fresher. And the best part…these tablets are super-easy to use. You just pop them into the empty washer, and run through a regular cycle. Then take a paper towel and wipe down any residue.
