Whynter CUF-112SS Mini, 1.1 Cubic Foot Energy Star Rated Small Upright Freezer with Lock, Stainless Steel, Feet

So i rented a studio apt with a kitchenette and it came with ablittle mini fridge with a little freezer section that wouldn’t keep my stuff frozen so i ordered this and put it on the countertop. So far it’s working very well. It’s good and cold and keeps my stuff frozen rock solid. The only complaint is the lack of corner protection for shipping. Mine arrived with a big dent in the edge of the door about the height of a pallet jack. The door seal isn’t compromised and i didn’t feel like taping the box back together and hauling back to the shipping carrier to return it so i’ll live with it. It’ll make a good garage freezer when i get a better place.

Similar size to a small mini-fridge. Holds more than a week’s worth of meat which is what we intended to use it for. It’s a great freezer and we highly recommend it!!!

No ice build up yet – quiet and perfect size to aid in overflow control – have not yet seen my energy bill and can’t compare yet but will let you know – so far i’m very happy

Easy to unpack. Plugged in next day. Setting 4 it’s below zero next morning.

I got this for my bedroom to keep my drinks cold. This thing was so powerful that i ended up putting it away because it worked a little too well. I’ll keep it incase i need it another time or someone i know needs it.

Rv refrigerator/freezer is very small so was going to the grocery store all the time. This freezer works great to store more meat. We live in our rv full time so it is a good investment.

I live in a place with a shared fridge/freezer, and recently one of my roommates has been stealing and eating my frozen dinners and fancy ice cream. This really, really annoys me- it messed up both my budget and my meal planning. After a few weeks of frustration (and failing to find a way to hide my food well enough to keep the problem roomie from eating it), i purchased this mini freezer which is lockable as well as small enough to fit under the desk in my bedroom. It’s compact, reasonably quiet, keeps things frozen, and holds a surprising amount of stuff. Currently i have 8 frozen dinners (7 boxes, 1 bowl), some frozen meatballs and sausage, a pint of ice cream, several frozen desserts, and the included mini ice-cube tray in the freezer- and there is still room for more! I wouldn’t suggest this item for a large family, but for a small household of 1 or 2 adults it’s a solid option. And now i get to actually eat the food i purchase- i wish i’d bought this weeks ago instead of trying to hide my gelato inside an empty frozen vegetable bag. So far so good, i’ll report back if/when things change and/or the freezer stops working.

I liked the fact that i can save food for later and also store veggies and meat not to mention ice cream

Works great

Bought this freezer for my wife’s breast milk. We live in an rv so space is tight. Freezer works great and it cooled off with no issues. It is placed under the main table and i don’t hear it at all. Very quite.

My only complaint is we run most things off batteries and solar panels. This freezer will spike to 600watts of power but then over around 50watts. It does this quite a bit. Not sure the full impact on my batteries yet with these spikes but it’s something im watching. I included a screenshot if you want to see the power spikes over night.

Just what i need it for my small apartment

Fridge works as expected. Product arrived on schedule, but damaged during delivery. Back right corner was smashed. Didn’t want to go to the hassle of returning and getting a new one, so i kept it since it doesn’t appear to effect the mechanical working of it. I read other reviews about damage during delivery as well. Maybe having a small fridge shipped is not worth the money saved.

It’s working very well, uses little power and general pleased with it. It’s heavy but pretty small inside. We should have been more aware of how little it fits. But it is a good product.

This item is a great purchase take up little space and it keeps really ,really cold when u have it on just 3 setting remember this is a freezer i would recommend this to my friends its a great buy

Unit works fine and freezes good great. However the outside was bent/damaged so i was concerned if the unit would work.

It works, and i can pick it up to move it when needed. That is all i wanted from a bit more freezer space.

It’s a little smaller than i’d like

Recieved damaged, as if it were dropped on the back upper corner. Was warned about damaged products in the reviews and to let amazon package it for better shipping protection. That didn’t work. However with that said, i plugged it in and installed a temp sensor. The temp stays between -18 & -20 deg f. This is a deep freeze not for icecream. You will have to let it thaw about 10 to 15 minutes before you will be able to scoop it out of the container. Other than damage and the small power surge when the compressor kicks in, it works great and love the locking feature while traveling in our rv.
