I love the fact that this microscope is so easy to use. I don’t know how microscopes work, but i found simple to operate with my iphone. It was recommended to me by a botanical garden for having fun with up close images of leaf structures, and i’ve been having a blast collecting and observing. I bought it for my wife who is botany student as a surprise, but i’ve been having too much fun with this. I’d recommend it to anyone with an interest in plant observations, but i also had fun using it at the beach to observe seashells up close. I might get myself one to add it to my gadget bag.

Not bad, for $30 it still takes better macro shots than my phone. Pretty difficult to focus, should have some kind of digital focus on the app side. I wish th led’s we’re softened, lots of glare on metallic and glossy surfaces. The battery needs to be fully charged or plugged into a wall charger for wifi to work.

This microscope is a great little tool. I was amazed at how well it worked. It is very easy to set up and use. It creates a local wifi signal that your phone or tablet connects to for displaying images. The microscope also has an internal light that can be adjusted for brightness or turned off altogether. For $30 it is a no-brainer bargain. I actually bought a second one for my 13-year-old granddaughter.

I love this microscope. It’s super useful and portable which makes it even better. It’s convenient that i can use it on my mac and my iphone. I would definitely purchase this product for a friend/family member. The images are clear and the zoom is insane! Super fun to use.

This is a great handheld microscope that i use for plant diagnostics and seeing if any pests are roaming around. It is perfect and the price is great! Highly recommend this product for anyone who needs a versatile tool in their plant hobby.

Fully charge the unit, download the max-see app and connect your phone to the microscopes wi-fi and you will be off and running. Another microscope i was interested in was not iphone compatible but this is and one of the reasons i chose it. The stand is convenient for coins and other stationary items. I purchased it for trichome evaluation and it has been great to share the images with others. It is wireless and very convenient.
A case would be nice. I would definitely purchase it again.

I needed an affordable digital scope for inspecting plants for ripeness. This scope fits that bill perfectly. It is easy to use and the image quality is very good for the price. The zoom is digital, but i couldn’t have expected a high quality optical zoom in this budget range. The built-in leds to a great job and it focuses very easily and precisely. If you need an inexpensive scope that you can photograph with, this will meet your needs perfectly.

I had this microscope and it had stopped working correctly after using for 100 photos. I informed the company of the issue after i had left a bad review in haste. The company sent me a replacement microscope which works amazing. I’ve taken 2,000 pictures and a few videos so far without a single problem. I’d recommend this product to family and friends. Very pleased.

I got this for checking the color of the trichomes on my plants. The little “hairs” are trichomes! It has excellent picture quality which really takes any guesswork out of the equation on when to harvest.

A little fragile so try not to drop it! I dropped my first one and it fell apart.

Was a little skeptical at first because of how inexpensive the microscope was but after receiving it my mind was changed very quick. It did take some time to get used to how it worked and how the app worked. For the money it’s well worth the investment. Great picture easy to zoom and once figured out it’s fun to use.

It was a bit tricky to set up as i’m not too good at that stuff-it would help if they just made a decent utube video on how too, or maybe they do now but i couldn’t find one and the track was just to give the iso phone a bit of extra time (much more than usual) to first pick up the wifi and then read all the potential blue tooth signals, then sink, and then gotta read direction carefully and figure out what buttons are what and once i did, i just labeled it and it was a piece a crumb cake!

I like everything about this product except for the fact that it doesn’t always stay connected so you have to keep reconnecting it. I use it for sharpening blades so i am often holding it which can be annoying when it disconnects and i have to put it downt to reconnect it.

What a fun little item! The stand is a little flimsy and i suspect with repeated use the plastic will snap. But other than that it is great and i can see things that i didn’t know were there. Once you get the object in focus, snap that pic because any little movement will put it out of focus. This is quite normal with any macro photography. Wouldn’t it be nice if the app enabled you to trigger your phone camera via a voice command!? It would be a solid 5 stars if it had that.

Its works ok, but instead of bluetooth you connect to it through wifi. Which is annoying.

Update: i figured it out and it works great, i just cant dial it in to get clear focus, with my eyesight.

The zoom roller could be easier to use it is hard to hold it still and focus. Overall better than i thought it would be.

I was looking for something to help me see mites on my african violets. This worked fine out of the box on my old macbook. It has a much better depth of field than the previous one i had tried. The stand is a little lame- i ended up buying a better one for around $21. I can mag up quite a bit more – but need to learn how to edit my videos before can attach here 🙂

Works as described and definitely recommend a holding tool as hard to hold steady with hand to get picture.

To use the scope one must have the max see app. The first time one opens the app it is to setup the wifi connection, but once set up they don’t tell you to close the app and reopen it. If one tries to use it without closing it first all you get is the wifi set up screen. Once connected the app has to be closed and reopened in order to view objects thru the scope. I figured it out with trial and error since the instructions don’t make it clear. Apparently this hasn’t been a problem for others, but it caused me some extra work. Other than that it has worked well for me.

Hard to focus and use, app sucks, and it connects to your phone by wifi, like the microscope broadcast like a router so you lose all internet while using. Alot of focus is digital. Image quality isn’t bad when in focus. Not amazing especially for the price.

they made things right by me! Amazon made communication harder than it needed to be but they were trying to help! I wished the original worked well cause their service is nice.
