After laminated a sheet of paper, can you cut the sheet and the laminate pouch still stick to the paper without laminated boarder?
I use this to laminate bookmarks which i cut out from the paper. Because it’s 3 millimeters it does sometimes peel, i’ve found, if i don’t cut outside of the vacuum sealed border it creates when it goes through the machine. I’d recommend 5 millimeter if that’s an issue you foresee for your projects.

Yes, it will be clear on both sides. I have done two sided card stock paper witn printing on both sides and both sides are the same.
Will these work with a seingline gbc laminator?
Sorry, i am not familiar with that laminator. I work in the classroom and we use these with our small scotch tabletop laminators that use that size pouch for laminating. They are really good product and cost a lot less than the scotch brand laminating pouches.
Can you cut them to make smaller tags?
Yes. I made luggage tags and i laminated them together and then cut into a smaller size for the tags. As long as you have a decent margin where the laminating sheets are able to be heated and laminated around whatever you are laminating when you make your cuts it should be fine. I tried a few by cutting them smaller before putting them through the machine and they worked fine. I am really happy with the laminating sheets and this machine! Excellent value!

Could i use an iron instead of a laminator to seal these?
Generally speaking … Thermal laminate sheets work with an iron. I use 2-ply aluminum foil under the laminating sheet and a thin towel above. Set the iron to the hottest setting and iron for 30-60 seconds. This method is easy with business card sized items, but it may be a bit challenging for larger items.

Which binder would work for this pouch size? The binder i have having locks top and bottom and prevend sheet from fitting.
Not sure what you mean but, if the pouch is to short you may have to add a strip at the top and bottom or just one or the other. You can do this by running a pouch thru your lam machine with nothing in it, making a clear sheet which is the same thickness as your binder cover. Now using double stick tape cut what you need from the clear sheet. To cover what you added decorate as you like. I sure hope i helped. I am an artist and if i can’t find what i need i make it.

If i need to replace the paper inside can i replace it?
If you mean that if you needed to replace the actual paper/document that you initially laminated – once you’ve laminated it, the answer is no. They call them ‘pouches’ but they’re not actually a pouch per say. They’re more of a plastic film, two sheets that are connected at a seem that one would place their document or whatever they want to laminate in between the two film sheets and run it through laminater, firming the heated, permanent, seal.

Have xerox xrx-951l laminator. It has paper/cardboard sleeve that is used to cover the laminate as it goes through laminator. Is this still necessary?
When i am laminating something small (such as the size of a business card) and i’ve already cut the laminating sheet to fit (that way i can use the rest of the sheet for something else), i put that small something inside a folded 8.5×11 piece of copy paper. That way it doesn’t get hung up inside the laminator. It works great.

It’s 3 mil laminate. Not sure if exact material but i make my students placemats and laminate them with this laminate and they eat off them…no problems

There are two sheets connected on one end. You just open the bottom, then lay the top sheet back down.

Does a dry erase marker come off clean?
No! I was disappointed that the dry erase did not come off cleanly or easily. Even with dry erase spray i could barely get it off.
What material is used for these? Are they non-toxic or do they require the california may cause cancer type label?
If they require it, they will have it. Just don’t eat them and your unborn child should be free of cancer and birth defects from this product.
I have too many papers and i lose them. I want to bind them like a book instead of a binder. Will these work as book covers, can be punched?
Yes they can be hole punched and you could laminate two pages back-to-back. You might want to put the papers in a plastic sleeve that has three holes on the side. Either one would work though!
Are these the hard laminating sheets as you might use if making an adapted book?
I would say these are pretty much standard when it comes to thickness or hardness. I personally love printing on card stock then laminating with these sheets for extra durability.
Can i use my heat press with these sheets?
Not sure what a heat press is but it works just fine in my laminators machine.

It won’t seal properly if you cut the sheets. This size needs to be used for full size paper. You can also buy a size to hold 4 x 6 picture size.
