Yakibest Basics Tall Kitchen Drawstring Trash Bags, 13 Gallon, 120 Count (Previously Solimo)

Quite honestly, i never thought i’d be leaving a review like this over a plastic bag… That being said, after just two days of use, i felt compelled to let others know about my experience, as i think it covers many of the unspoken things people notice unconsciously.

1. One bag at a time. When i pull a bag from the box, one comes out, the rest stay in. They’re not statically stuck together like some other brands.

2. Easy to open. These unfold easily, and you don’t have to struggle against a tight static hold to open them. Start to open it, shake it once, and it’s open.

3. Durable. These are noticably thicker feeling bags, and resist breaking even better than so-called ‘stretch’ bags.

4. Little/no scent. While the box itself has a moderate plastic/rubbery smell, the bags themselves have little to no noticable smell when using them. They also seem to trap the smell of the contents inside the bag when closed.

Summary. These bags just plain work. They’re durable, easy to use, they don’t choke you with perfumes, and at $0.14/bag at the time of this review, they’re a great value. This is another amazon basics win.

They meet my 4 requirements and do the job. Unless you absolutely want the stretchy kind, why pay more? On very rare occasions i need to double bag. I put 3 in the can and when i am down to 1 add 2 more to reduce the amount of times i need to clean the bottom of the can.

These were on an amazon sale and so thought i would try. Glad i did! These are just like major brands-strong, stuff doesn’t poke out and tear the bag, no scent was great. Don’t hesitate – these are not dollar store quality – buy them!

I was a little hesitant at first but decided to try out the amazon brand trash bags. I have used them for almost a month now and so far no leaks or tears, and i am completely happy with them. The tie handles are much easier to grab and tie compared to the other brand i was using. They fit my trashcan well and the quality meets my expectation. I would recommend these bags and will buy them again.

These bags have held up well. I haven’t had a single one rip or tear, and we’ve now used a whole roll. They’re a great price and once these are gone i will be purchasing them again.

These are kitchen size bags so they are smaller than a regular trash bag but they are a really good value for a small household. Depending on how often you fill a bag these might not be a good value for a family of four or more. You would go through them much faster and the larger trash bags would work for you. But for my small family of three they are great!

I have a family of 7… 2 in diapers and i cook a lot so naturally our trash cans fill up pretty quickly. Other competitive brand trash bags tend to rip or the ties break when trying to tie the bag up. But these have held up surprisingly well! No leaking, no tearing, no broken ties. What more could you want? Will continue to purchase. Totally worth it!

I like these trash bags. I still have a roll or two left. No scent which i like bc other ones can b over bearing. And they are strong. Will purchase again!

Bought these after buying a box of hefty and having the first 3 bags rip open when bagging the trash. This is a great alternative to the garbage you’ll find on the shelves.

I typically buy hefty bags but thought i would give these a try because the price was so much better. For quality, these are about on par. They feel the same thickness and don’t tear easily, unless i overfill them or have sharp corners in the bag. The only difference i find is that the circumference of these bags is ever so slightly smaller than other bags. I have to stretch these to fit over the top of my can. The rim is where most of my tears happen, when i try to remove an overstuffed bag. I have a tall, slim can, with a rectangular shape. It isn’t a dealbreaker, just a bit inconvenient. If your bin is more rounded, or round, the bags should probably fit better (circle having the minimal circumference for size).

These bags are good and we’re happy with them. The only thing that i don’t like is that they are just a tad bigger than the glad expensive bags, so when i put it on my garbage can, the fit isn’t quite as tight as i’d like it. We haven’t had any ‘slippage’ yet where it falls of the can, but i make sure we don’t overstuff the can, or i think they might disengage and drop down. I’ll definitely keep buying them though as they are a great price – much better than anyone else.

It serves the purpose and priced right. I use it for my small trash can and it doesn’t get too heavy. *****one important thing, the red drawstring never stays and you can’t use it to tie. All of them, every single bag, has an unusable red string. But i don’t mind it because it’s the cheapest out there.

Not the best garbage bag out there but will hold up for the most part and won’t set you back too much

Great durable bags

While these may not be as sturdy as some big names in trash bags, they are more than adequate and we have not experienced a single leak. Price and delivery were pluses.

Good for dry trash but leaks when used for empty bottles and cans. Empties always have trace amounts of liquid and this always seems to find a way to leak onto my floor. Won’t buy these again for that reason.
