Yogasleep Hushh Portable White Noise Sound Machine For Baby

I bought one weeks ago…and two days later, ordered a second. I live in an apartment with less than ideal neighbors. I place one of these nifty little gizmos on one side of my bed and the other on the other side. I set each at four clicks usually and the husshhhhhhhh lulls me to sleep, masking ambient noise from other apartment, as well as my own ac out in my livingroom. Since i don’t set them at the very highest sound level, each lasts for my entire night…which is anywhere between 6 1/2 to 8 hours (usually 7). First thing i do in the morning is hook them up with a usb cable to recharge them. I’ve noticed that some reviewers have complained that ‘it won’t turn off!’ i’m thinking that maybe these reviewers are failing to hold the on/off button long enough to get the job done. When you’re ready to turn yours off, try holding if for one complete second. That should do the trick! If mine fails me in this regard, i will return and update this review. And here’s a tip: don’t discard the stiff plastic casing it comes in! After charging, place the noise machine back into the casing with the buttons facing to the right (which will allow easy access). Once back in the casing, you can set it squarely on a flat surface and it won’t wobble or fall over. You can also aim it in the desired direction. No need to hang it anywhere! When you’re ready to recharge, simply pull it back out of the casing to access the little usb socket. Voila!

This thing was a real game changer! We were gifted a susher so we started off using that and it was fine, but there were definitely things i didn’t love about it. Bought this to have in addition to the susher so that we’d have options and something to maybe use at grandparents or daycare.

My husband and i immediately liked this way more than the susher and ended up buying two more and not using the susher at all.

I love that you can charge it, love the ease of the buttons, love that it stays on, and absolutely love the noise waaay more than the susher.

The noise we use just sounds like a fan or driving with the windows down. It’s perfect for our baby and helps him fall asleep and stay asleep even if we are in the room making noise. Even we find it relaxing so it’s truly perfect for us all!

Seriously can’t recommend this enough if you have a baby or you have trouble sleeping through noises going on around you!

This was a necessity for the early newborn days. Now we exclusively use it for travel/on the go. It’s not as loud as the plug-ins like hatch but it was good when he was in his bedside bassinet the first few months. Now that he has his full size hatch in his room we only use this if we are on a trip.

Needs to be plugged in if you want to to go alllllll night. But around 7 hours on a full charge otherwise.

I’m pretty sure this thing sounds just like the inside of a womb. At least, that’s what my 1 week old told me. I tried my standard go-to white noise machine, and he peed on me at the next diaper change … He wasn’t a fan. He also wasn’t a fan of fans, for that matter. And also not the shusher app, and especially not silence. They all got screams, the waterworks, and pee … Oh, the pee. But this thing? Instant lights out. A+, thanks for saving my life, saving me from countless pee protests, and most of all, bringing my little guy just a bit of happiness.

Para el cuarto de mi bebé quedó perfe, tiene buen volumen y sonido. Lo he probado un par de veces en el carro o en el coche, pero no llega a opacar otros sonidos. Igual lo recomiendo mucho para el cuarto del bebé, ya que puedes dejarlo prendido toda la noche o durante sus siestas.

This thing is about the size of a hockey puck so i wasn’t sure how it would perform. I took it on a cruise and wow! I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Great range of volume, easy to use, small and lightweight, perfect for traveling! If you want a portable noise machine for hotel rooms, cruises etc, don’t hesitate!

These need to be charged every other day ish if you use them for a full night sleep. Having a pair makes it pretty easy to switch them out though. I also really like how portable they are. We have 3 different sleep locations for our baby and also like to take it with us on outings so portability is key.

The volume control has been sufficient for our needs thus far.

We don’t use it every night like it seems some do- we take it in the car for when we are traveling several hours and if our lo falls asleep and we need to go into a store. We’ve had it for about a month and it works perfect! The different sounds are soothing and loud enough to block out all the outside noise. Our friends have all asked about it as well. We love it. Hopefully it holds up

10 stars! This little box of magic keeps my son calm in the car seat and puts him asleep nearly every time. It’s rechargeable battery has a great battery life, we have went hours and hours out running errands and it never dies!

Brought to france, it’s dual voltage thankfully! Can’t sleep without white noise and this thing is perfect- just the right volume. I would recommend keeping it plugged in if you want it to last all night though!

I love that this doesn’t shut off after a certain amount of time. I don’t understand why they even make products with auto shut off, because baby wakes up once it stops. Anyways, i’ve had this product for a few months, and it just stopped working. Of coarse it was the middle of the night so i had to run to the store to buy a new one so my baby would go back to sleep. So if you buy this, buy a back up for when it stops working.

We love that it’s very useful but the quality isn’t as great. This is our 3rd shusher we’ve purchased. The cord gets bent easily and wouldn’t charge the shusher. It only works for about 8 hours maximum before you have to charge it again. Wish the qaulify was better especially if you have to use it for traveling over 12 hour period and not having a place to charge it.

I loved it. I really did. All three times! I bought it three times and not because i needed all three but because they kept breaking. Eventually, they all became defective and would not turn off. No matter how much you pressed the power button, it wouldn’t turn off. The noise kept going and going until the battery died, which was for over 12 hours. It wouldn’t even work when i tried to lower the volume. It just stayed on and loud all those hours.

The first time, i thought maybe it was just that unit. Nope. It happened to the second one i ordered. Then i thought maybe it’s just a coincidence so i went ahead and bought a third one one. It happened again.

I loved this machine and it’s served it purpose. Unfortunately, i won’t be buying a 4th. I’ll have to look for another baby machine to use.

I like this sound machine for travel, but my first one broke after a month. From reading the companies faq it should not be left plugged in, which mine was when i wasn’t traveling with it. I’m on my second one and haven’t run into any issues yet, just make sure to unplug it as soon as it’s done charging.

I absolutely love the yogasleep hushh portable sound machine for my baby! It’s small, but definitely mighty. I preferred this over another very popular baby sound machine; i have both, but found myself reaching for this a lot more.

The only negative thing that i could share is that i started using this at the end of april 2022 and it stopped working just after 3 months of use. I’m not sure if i just got a faulty one, but i’m pretty bummed about it.

Great sound coming out of this small thing. I use only one particular white noise setting and it’s great. It’s louder than my marpac dohm, and a perfect soothing frequency that blocks out more noises. I got it for travel but use it on a daily basis at home. My only complaint is that it doesn’t go on for up to 11 hours when charged. It seems to do only about 8. It would be very helpful for the child if it did

Overall this sound machine is good. My only complaint after a year using it is that it sometimes gets stuck “on” and won’t shut off til it dies. And the battery life is pretty long which is good til this happens!

Great for car rides! Only three sound options though.

After a few months of use, machine is stuck constantly on unless the battery is depleted by unplugging it. Buttons don’t work. Trick to get it to unlock is not the solution in this case. But as i never move it, there’s no reason to turn it off or change the settings. Serves its purpose but would have been nice to utilize on vacation.
